My favorite place to recycle metal in Oregon! The folks that run the scales are always nice, happy to explain procedures, and very knowledgeable. I have even made the lady laugh before! Its hard to find folks that have the right balance of professional and personal, but you can find it here. The folks working out in the yard are always polite, answer your questions about different materials completely, and never seem to talk down to you for not knowing everything. I have tried a lot of different metal yards over the years, and this place, between the great pricing and the folks I am happy to see, make my hour drive to get to them 100% worth it every time!
Best recyclers, in Eugene, far, and above anybody else. Safe, clean and hot dogs and hamburgers to boot. Big shout out to Louie thank you so much for your smiles and your general positive attitude.

Friendly employees, well mostly. Except for one guy on the forklift in the nonferous area at Eugene yard. Bitched me out for not knowing where to park, then bitched me out again for not knowing I had to go back across the scales before going to unload shredable. Everyone else was perfectly friendly when giving direction. Absolutely no reason for this guy to be such a prick.
I’m just a gal with a 5 year old son that has a metal collection that got too big, so I totally didn’t know what I was doing at all. Everyone here was super nice though and didn’t make me feel dumb for not knowing what to do.
I had followed my friend to recycle a car. Seemed all the workers had a good time doing their jobs. Got to see the car get picked up and shook to get wheels off
These folks are always reasonable, nice, and communicative. Which as someone who isn't a frequent visitor, I appreciate greatly. The path to dump your scrap, is a little confusing. Don't be afraid to ask questions!
I have been doing business with Pacific Recycling for years. The facility has grown exponentially and it shows in the quality of service they provide. They have the best price return for your product. Tansportation service they provide for pick up and delivery is awesome, The driver's are polite, and If I've ever had a problem , there's always someone there to help navigate through, ensuring a timely resolution . This would be a good company to work for. They are a
great company to work with.
This is a scrap yard with a lot going on inside with loaders, grapple cranes, sheers, fork lifts, foot traffic, truck traffic, and yet everything is smooth and safe from the weight scale in to payment and exit. As you should expect, it's dusty in the summer and muddy in the winter, but I've never seen an angry or griping employee ! Scale shack folks are nice , friendly, and efficient.

First and last time here. Waste of time and gas brought a catalytic converter and DPF off a wrecked semi. The person looked at them and pulled a number from the air. Didn't weigh them. they didn't use a metal tester on them. $120 for the cat and 150 for the DPF. 270 for both. What a joke should have been closer to $900. Then the person went on to explain how the prices for rhodium are down to $12,250 an Oz.
Mind you, the DPF has about 7x more precious metals than a little catalytic converter, and they paid the same. and a 3 day wait for a check seriously? Jokes on me. If you want to get F'ed in the A, then this is the place for you

To be fair there is some staff who gladly got me back on track.
They are very efficient, get you up to where you unload fairly fast and get you paid and out of there in no time. Now, only if the price of scrap was up where it should be I'd be a happy camper. $75.00 for 1600 pounds and $10.00 for 2 aftermarket catalytic converters paid for the gas (50 mile drive) and lunch and about $35.00 for my time doing it gave me about $6.00 an hour. But that's better than seeing it go to the dump
I felt intimidated when I first drove up with my old wire fence a lg metal shelf and ect.
The staff was very competent. Also the directions and signs explain where to go . they are very dog friendly. My dog loved the 2 bones he got from them . My metal only $6 but I felt better about Recycling then seeing it get dumped into the land fill .Great experience and very cool to see how our old things get recycled.
Everyone here was superbly friendly. Usually places like this have a couple of reasonably friendly people but not here. Again everyone here was very friendly. It's nice to leave with a smile.
I love this place! I'm an old lady who knows nothing about metal recycling and the office staff and yard workers were extremely helpful. They even helped to unload my truck. If you have never recycled metal before, this is the place to go. They don't make you feel stupid or treat you like a criminal when you just call on the phone to ask questions like the attitude that I got from other places. They are very organized and have excellent customer service!
I love these guys they are really nice even to me the clueless one when it comes to scrap metal. I know I take up too much of their time but there is never a cross word or frown and everyone does their best to help me. Because of the people at Pacific recycling I have learned a lot thanks guys!
