This place is my go to for suv repairs as i never take it back as repaired incorrect. It was oil change and reasonably priced and completed in 4 hours while i used the llaner car.

I'm beyond grateful for the exceptional service I received at Todd's Automotive on Pilkington! I recently purchased a vehicle that wouldn't start without a jump, and the team at Todd's went above and beyond to diagnose and fix the issue. Despite the battery being brand new, they persisted in finding the problem and ultimately determined it was the battery itself. Their recommendation to replace it led to a successful resolution, and I've had no issues since.

The entire team was professional, empathetic, and dedicated to getting me safely back on the road. I've never cried so much in front of a mechanic team (thanks, Jim!), but their kindness and expertise made all the difference. They outsource their alignments to les Schwab. I went to pick up my car and the alignment wasn’t even done, I confronted the mechanic who did the job and he said it drove just fine even though it was still pulling to the right.

A friend recommended this place. I had a mechanic already, but found myself in an emergency situation and needed a shop much closer. Well, Jim and his crew were fricken AWESOMEEEEE. And I cannot express my gratitude enough. I dropped my car off at 12pm today (Thursday). I knew the issue was spark plugs (long over due and that is all on me) and coils. Not only did they get me in same day, he gave me a loaner car, so I could run errands and see family. Told me it’d be ready around 4pm. I get a call at 2pm saying it’s ready and the bill was $100 cheaper than quoted with AAA discount (which I didn’t know they did) and he found parts for a lesser price. This place is the real deal! I will 100% be back, next time I need service. Thank you Jim!

Very disappointing experience! Brought (towed) in for Air injection control valve service as my truck was in limp mode after very loud noise on cold start. (I ran a code reader on it, and stuck intake valves were the culprit) Todd's confirmed the issue, and After the expensive repair was "completed," the sound persisted. I returned to Todd's and explained the truck was still making the same noise on cold start. I had to drop it off, two more times, as it was only making noise on cold start. I was told that the sound was "Normal" (??!!??) by both Jim and Glen. I disagreed, having owned the truck for nearly 5 years with no such sound. I was somewhat rudely "assured" that it was "normal" and continued to drive the truck, even though the sound was getting much louder and more concerning. I called and Was AGAIN told it was "normal". They even apparently "forgot" about previous discussions, and called to ask me how the truck was running following "repairs"...I had to bring it back YET AGAIN, and was told, again that the very loud sound was..."Normal"...the air pump COULD be making the noise, but that it was fine to drive. By now, I was DONE with Todd's, and took it elsewhere (Accurate Auto, highly recommend!!) for a second opinion...and the check engine light had comer back on..the air injection pump was DESTROYED, and Pieces of plastic fins from it were sucked into valves...NOT normal, ..it was replaced by the new shop and the sound was FINALLY gone! Todd's was contacted by the new shop to see if warranty work could be covered, and they said NO, and implied that the new repairs were to blame...This has been a nightmare with Todd's. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM! . As a disabled, senior Woman, I am on a very fixed income, and this was an enormous burden, and a very frustrating experience!

I've used Todd's Automotive now for a couple years. All the folks there are very responsive, proactive, fair, and patient. They explain repairs they think are helpful or necessary, and most recently, when I ran into a couple problems simultaneously with both my vehicles, they fit them in and facilitated the easiest of drop-offs and pick-ups. Glen keeps me informed on timing for services, and Jim is an active, insightful manager, focused on making our vehicles run smoothly and efficiently. Jim recently helped run down a warranty that made it possible to get an unexpected repair need taken care of for free. This is a great business - and for those of you who have a hard time finding mechanics you can trust, who actually look out for you, you need look no further than Todd's.

I have been looking for a good, honest repair shop for my vehicle. When I walked into the customer service area I was greeted with a friendly greeting. The service person checked me in and arranged for me to have a loaner vehicle while mine was being serviced. The waiting area looked as good as most Doctor's offices, only they had magazines and books neatly arranged for those waiting. My vehicle was ready faster then they had quoted me and the whole process was really smooth. I was really impressed. They have better pricing than other places I had checked and I plan to use them again.

FINALLY: A Quality Auto Service Business

Most car owners have at least one horror story (maybe more) about over-priced poor quality auto repair service. (Or ‘no quality’ because the paid for work was never done!!) As a victim of such unbelievably horrible treatment by my prior mechanic I went in search of a business I felt I could rely upon.

Enter Todd’s Automotive. And what a wonderful experience to have.
Quality work, careful and thorough diagnostic assessments of what needed to be done and, at my request for budgeting purposes, provided an itemized description of all the work needed in priority of importance order to correct.

After such disgusting treatment previously a breath of fresh air arrived with Todd’s. Their AAA certification and customer reviews were the impetus to my choosing Todd’s and I am so glad I did. Give them an opportunity to help you; you won’t be disappointed.

Customer service was good and so far it appears they did a good job on my breaks. I did not give 5 stars because I was charged $155 to diagnose and tell me it was the breaks that needed to be replaced. That was still charged even with getting the breaks done there. Because of this I will not return. If I’m getting my car repaired somewhere I expect them telling me what needs to be done to be part of the service. I have never been charged for diagnostic when I am getting the repair done at the same time.

These guys are professional, patient and courteous. I was originally expecting to not get my car back for a few days and after 1.5 hours it was ready for pick up! Luckily it was an easy fix but I couldn’t be more pleased with the services at Todd’s Automotive. Honest work at a fair price.

Considerate and trustworthy fits Todd's. Jim at the front desk helped me get my Toyota Tacoma truck running the same day I asked for help. He understood I use it for business and got it fixed the same day, he was polite, understanding and professional. I wish I could give this place more than five stars. I recommend them to anyone looking for good, trustworthy auto repair help. They know what they're doing and they're honest and nice.

I recently moved to Oregon, so one of the things on my list to find was a good auto mechanic. I noticed that my brake light would come on and off in my car. I called a friend that I met for a recommendation, and she recommended Todd’s (as she has been going to them for years). When I called Todd’s to make an appointment, they said they couldn’t take my car until the following week; however, because it was the brakes, they said they could take me that day to do an evaluation to make sure it was safe for me to drive. I dropped it off (as they offered me a loaner so I didn’t have to wait!) they checked it throughly and found nothing wrong, suggesting several things it could have been. When I asked how much I owed, they replied that I owed them nothing as they don’t charge when they don’t find anything wrong! What? Wow! They spent time checking my car, gave me a loaner and charged me nothing??! Thanks Todd for not only providing “on the spot” exceptional care, but now I can take “find auto mechanic” off my to to do list!

I needed a new radiator for my 2002 Sequoia. I had recently had work done at Good Neighbor in Beaverton, so I called them first. They quoted me $1400.00 for a new radiator!!! Ridiculous! Definitely felt as though they were trying to take advantage of me because I'm a woman. Not such a good neighbor in my opinion.
Dave at Fast Lane in Tigard, recommended Todd's Automotive stating they are honest; do a great job; offer fair pricing; and have been in business for decades.
I called them and they gave me an appointment that day. I was treated fairly and with respect. I paid about a quarter of the price Good Neighbor had quoted. The work was done well and I was on my way by the end of the day.
After a few months since the work was completed, I have experienced absolutely no problems with the new radiator. I highly recommend Todd's Automotive because I believe they are trustworthy, fair, do quality work, and have great customer service. I will continue to be a customer of theirs and I highly recommend them.

I can't say enough good things about Todd's Automotive. Professional and quick. I am an automotive savvy individual and they got me an appointment for the following day. I waited in the waiting room for 45 minutes and in that time, my service was fully completed. Not only that, the look-over was free. I will be returning when my vehicle needs service beyond oil changes or brake pad changes. I think the negative reviews are from people who wanted their 25 year old car to not be 25 years old. There are too many problems with cars of that age, it doesn't matter what the age of the car is. Yes, that kind of car is cheap. It is expensive to fix because ALL the parts at that point will need replacing. Use Todd's to keep you vehicles running great!!!!

I cannot give enough praise for Todd’s Auto. I was told by the Kia dealership that my car needed a new timing cover and estimated the cost at $1300. I took my car to Todd’s and received a significantly lower quote. Once my car was in their care, the tech believed the leak was caused by the valve (not the timing cover) and completed the service at half the cost of the estimate. They stood by their work enough to not charge me additional money if the leak was indeed the cover. I just took my car in for a “check-up” to confirm the leak was fixed and it was. Not a drop of oil out of place two weeks later. This business is honest, ethical, trustworthy, and great to work with. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of auto work.

Todd's delivered great service on time and at the quoted price... Todd's mechanics are knowledgeable, friendly and explained the needed work. Todd's replaced a clutch after the initial work went south for no charge. I have used Todd's over the years with several cars and always had a good outcome. I would recommend Todd's to anyone.

Above and Beyond
I just moved to OR and so I had no idea who to take my car to when it had several sensor issues. I asked for a recommendation and Todd's Automotive was given to me. They were flexible on getting my car in around my crazy schedule. Glen gave me an upfront quote which I appreciated and was honest about what I needed to fix now and what could wait. They thought they had initially fixed the sensor but after a final test something still wasn't working so they kept my car an extra day but they made sure I had a way to get to where I needed to go. And still with the extra work they did to resolve the issue they came in at the original quote. I would definitely recommend them for their customer service and just genuine niceness to work with.

Our company, Anderson Door & Window Mechanics, has been taking our fleet vehicles to Todd's for several years. Several of us here take our personal vehicles in as well. Their service and integrity has been second to none. They honor their labor warranty service graciously. In an industry where honesty is often in question, they have proven they are trustworthy and competent. Five stars for Todd's Automotive.

We have always had great experiences at Todd’s. We started going there when we sensed that Kuni Lexus was over-up selling service to us (confirmed by the way)! We always trust Todd’s to operate with a high level of integrity and they do. We really appreciate having a local mechanic we can trust.

Todd's takes care of two of our cars. Great service, neat and clean, and they go above and beyond. In fact, as example, this morning I called because I need to replace my truck's windshield to inquire. They don't do that but they know someone. They called the person for me with all the specs of my truck and got me set up for a repair today. Like I said... above and beyond. Thanks Glenn.

Outstanding customer service! Following the recovery of my car which had been stolen and stripped, Todd's repaired and safety checked my vehicle, sourced parts, tested and serviced all aspects of the vehicle for an unbelievable price. I drive more than 20 miles past numerous other shops to have my car serviced at Todd's and will continue to do so. Thank you so much!

Very impressed!! I was referred to Todd for an issue with my starter. I called during their lunch break, Todd himself answered. When I expressed how important having it repaired the same day was to me, Todd did a great job, even driving in his car to pick up a part personally. I’m very happy with the service, quality of repair, and timeliness in which the repair was completed. All this and $200 less than the dealer quoted me. Highly recommend Todd and his team.

I have been a Todd's customer for years (15+), as have my mother and sister. We always receive excellent and reliable service at a reasonable cost, and he and his staff provide honest up-front information about what is going on with my vehicle. I am confident that my vehicle is in excellent condition when I leave there, and I've never had to worry that something will go wrong mechanically.

FYI, I had been going to another local shop prior to finding Todd's, and it took them three times to figure out the master cylinder was going out. They had charged me each time to fix the same problem - at a cost of $1500 and it was never fixed. I took it to Todd's, he knew immediately what it was, and was able to provide the service at a good price. I've been a loyal customer since then.

I've gone to Todd's for a few years now. Prices are reasonable, they get repairs done when they say they will. If it's a lengthy repair, I can almost always get a loaner car from them as well. What I appreciate most, though, is that I can go in with a vague complaint without worrying that they'll invent some problem and overcharge me. Recently I took my older Toyota in because 'it didn't feel right' when I drove it. Todds found no major problems; $108 of maintenance and minor repairs, and the old thing is as good as new.
