Whoever the lady with long grey hair and glasses in the office is, is rude. Acted annoyed when I was trying to get answers to questions over the phone, and acted annoyed when I came in to get my vehicle. I had everything I needed so there was no reason for her attitude

I had my truck towed there by the police and I had just bought 2 brand new phones and they stole them and told me to make a complaint was all I could do

Driver have a bad attitude i will never use this wrecker to tow my car to garage or home

Not great they lie about prices and don’t want to help at all the lady at the front desk is so rude no help what so ever they need to better their customers service not so happy

I was locked out of my vehicle on Christmas. Pucketts showed up on time and opened our car. Reasonably priced for the services they offer. I've used them exclusively for 20 years. Not hard to do with four teenage drivers.

Never used for towing service. But when it’s 40mph, 9pm at night, and you have 2 flat beds flying pasted you dropping stuff all over the road then slam on the brakes to “pick up” whatever you dropped wasn’t cool. Probably should be more professional seeing how we are already driving with people without insurance this is a business… On top of that you call dispatch and the lady is very rude acting like y'all aren’t in the wrong, I’ll have to check my mini cooper today and see if any damage.

Didn’t know great people worked at tow and impound lots. We are an out of state lienholder and was able to get detailed information about our vehicle before we made the trip. Very helpful with what paperwork was needed so we were prepared when picking up truck. Being prepared made the release smooth and painless, well, other than having to pay for it. They were firm but fair with the fees since they are regulated by the state.

We were in an accident and our truck was totaled. From our wrecker driver with the great sense of humor to the helpful woman in the office - you really lifted our spirits. Thank you for everything!

I literally was dreading having to go get a car out of impound being from past experience with this place. Have had previous dealings with Cathy “cunt” and to say the least she is a horrible person with horrible customer service.Christy was awesome with a great attitude. Christy could teach the old hag Cathy a thing or two about manners and customer service. Thank you Christy for providing customer service that I have never received at Puckett!!!!!

In response to their response. -They are liars! It had nothing to do with adjusting our price. Believe me they were horrible and making up something to respond! The lady in the office is absolutely HORRIBLE! NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. This place also lies. We are told one price then held onto the vehicle to get a higher price. The front desk lady needs to be trained or fired from her job. She alone is a reason not to go there. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. THEY HAVE LIED AND KICKED US WHEN WE WERE ALREADY DOWN. We got hit by an uninsured motorist and for working in a profession that deals with some of people's worst times in their life they just don't care. If I could say worse things on here about the front desk lady I would. I'm afraid it wouldn't post though. Very uneducated. USE SOMEONE ELSE.

This is probably one of the worst customer service i have ever experienced. The woman at the front was extremely rude and never provided you with enough information about what paper work you need to get to re claim your car after it has been stolen
Jun 07, 2023 -
If you guys are having issue with some of the staff i suggest you to ask for Chris, he was beyond polite and provided me with all the information needed about the whole aspect of the business. I hear a lot bad about a lady in the front desk, but do yourself a favor and ask for Chris. He definitely will go out of his way to make sure you get the attention needed.

Very helpful staff. Kind and compassionate. My car was stolen and wrecked then impounded. The people explained step by step instructions on the papers I needed to get my car released. God bless them all.

This company towed my mustang and almost tore off the whole front bumper. Ms. Kathy in the front office was not very helpful and seemed as if she did not want to be there. I hope they get it together soon.

My mother was in a car accident last night and OKCPD had Pucketts tow her van. I called them this morning and the man went over the charges with me and told me exactly what it would cost to get it from their lot tonight and told me what to bring with me since my injured mother was unable to go with me to get it. When I arrived, the lady there was rude to me, and at first was not going to accept the items, but I explained my conversation with the man this morning and my situation and she ageed to accept what I provided. The driver was rude to my nephew and his friend who was there with his trailer to help me get the van transported and then, she charged me $80.01 more than what I had been told. She told me it was because they charge an additional $30 after hours (mind you they're open 24/7)... even so, she could not explain the addional $50 and the charges written out on the invoice did not add up to the total at the bottom! Do NOT use Puckett and I'll be filing a complaint with BBB as well. I honestly don't know how they stay in business!

The people who work here do not seem to communicate with each other. My mother was involved in a head on collision and is currently in the hospital. We were given some paperwork for her to sign in order for us to collect her belongs from the vehicle, we explained that my mother was in the hospital, and we did not yet have a discharge date. The paperwork needed to be notarized so we again explained my mother’s situation and asked if it were enough that she sign it. They agree it would be okay if we brought in her drivers license to verify the signature. We since have called multiple times to confirm we are able to remove my mother’s belongs from her vehicle that was involved in an accident and even received confirmation from an employee named Billy we could do so. All to be told today we could not by another employee. To the owner of this establishment please get your employees on the same page. We are simply trying to recover my mother’s belongs.

Lady that answers the phone is rude. Charged for 1 1/2 hours when the towing was 12 minutes round trip. My dad’s 4 wheeler got stolen this summer. Police recovered it and Puckett’s picked it up. We were notified and went to pick it up and they charged $200. On a side note, my dad died a month ago.

I worked directly with Chris Puckett, the owner of the service and he was so professional in helping me resolve my car situation that was involved in an arrest impound. It was a very unusual circumstance and he walked me through the entire process and gave me the best result possible. He truly cared about my individual circumstance and I'm grateful. Highly recommend this service!

If there was an option to leave negative stars on here, I would be rating them a negative 50! The office lady Kathy was SOOOOO RUDE!!! My friend was simply trying to understand the process to get his vehicle back and she was extremely rude, condescending and completely unprofessional. I asked her to please explain something about the process & she said no I’m not repeating myself...I was totally taken aback. I cannot remember ever being treated so poorly by a business. And on top of that I stayed completely calm and extremely nice the entire time, but she continued to treat us so rudely. The least she could have done was smile and thank us for our business. I’m just flabbergasted that a business would allow an employee to treat their customers so poorly. I rarely write reviews and have never written a negative review, but I wanted people to know my experience at Puckett’s so that as few people as possible have to deal with what we dealt with today. I could go on, but you get the idea.

The lady who works Friday nights was very nice & helpful. She did things to help make this a less stressful experience…She located my registration online, printed it out for me, & advised me to be sure and keep it in my glove box. I did not know that the paper with your new tag year sticker IS THE REGISTRATION. She, also was VERY PATIENT, & printed my insurance ID card out, however I was extremely nice to her because it’s not their fault your car was towed. They do what the OKC police requested. Unfortunately, she has to deal with angry upset people who “THINK” they’re “NOT AT FAULT & THEY TAKE IT OUT ON PUCKETT’S” She will be helpful, but if you’re a jerk, then you can go get a copy of your registration by yourself. She does things as a COURTESY to Cooperative, Calm, Accountable Adults who treat their business with respect. Additionally, my Lexus was not damaged during the towing. But, I’m sure if my bumper was already damaged then it could get pulled off. But again that’s not their fault. Also, “IT’S NOT THEIR FAULT” if you don’t have PROOF of CURRENT insurance, registration, & driver’s license. OR THE $210 to GET YOUR CAR OUT.” Remember to “BE. NICE” no matter what the issue. You get more done with HONEY, than VINEGAR. That lady does an EXCELLENT job & I really appreciated everything she did to help me.

I wanted to thank the lady who assisted my dad and me today getting his car out. It was a mess from start to finish but she was helpful and kind the whole way through. Some employees it seems they WANT to make your situation more difficult but she wasn't one of them and helped as much as she could within her abilities. Thanks.

I setup an appointment at 3pm for 6pm that same day (wanted it between 5-5:30 but was told that was shift change and they asked if I could wait until 6pm so I would get the first truck). when I called to setup the appointment I told them it had to be a flatbed since my truck was 4x4. I also told them it was an 1989 F350 was quoted $165 for standard towing $180 for flat bed. at 6:05pm I had not heard from anyone yet so I called and was told the driver had yet to make it into the office and that he would be on his way as soon as he got in. at 6:45pm I had not hear from anyone yet so I called again and was told the driver had to go to another location, the dispatch said he was hooking up as I was on the phone, but he had to drop off in Norman prior to coming to me (I was in downtown OKC). I was rather upset that I would have to pay $180 and wait another 2 hours for the tow truck to even got to my location (3 hours past my scheduled time). The dispatch lady then said, "let me see if I can get another truck over there" at 7:30pm a truck finally showed up. Driver was nice. He starting filling out his paperwork and told me it was going to cost $195 to tow. I asked him why it was over the $180 I was quoted and he said B/c the Dispatch didn't know it was a 1 ton 4x4. I explained to him that is the exact reason why it's a flatbed and not a regular wrecker. The locks on the doors do not work so I needed to towed out of downtown at to my house so I could secure it so I agreed to pay the $195 instead of the $180. at 8:30pm I tried calling to see why I was charged more than quoted and no one answered the phone. The next morning I called again to see why I was charged more than quoted and why it took 1:30 to get a truck on scene even thought I had an appointment and was told there was nothing they could do, that police calls take priority (even though they have multiple flat bed truck) and that the person who quoted $180 was wrong in doing so. So if you expect someone to be on time and give you an accurately quote I would suggest you call another Towing Service...

Very nice people the lady who answers the phone was awesome. I had called a number of times over a few days to ask stupid questions, and her was understanding and helpful. The guy who helped me was nice as well. Told me info that would help me with my car being stuck in there lot.

Was in an accident and OKC police called to have my incapacitated vehicle towed. It was a traumatic experience but not having to worry about moving my vehicle was worth it’s weight in gold. The tow driver wasn’t overly friendly or talkative but he was efficient and got my vehicle moved quickly. I was very stressed about getting some items out of my vehicle and they set up a time for us to grab everything. Yes, the office workers aren’t overly friendly but they are efficient and straight to the point. If you come prepared you will have a much easier time. They escorted us to the lot for security reasons and I noticed many security measures in the lot which I was thankful for. The escort was friendly and talked to us about the accident and life in general. We came across Pucketts a second time when my son got into an accident. The tow driver arrived quickly and got the vehicle moved. He gave us ample time to move valuable items out of the car before he took it. Again, not overly friendly but efficient.

Worse business ever, worse customer service ever, the whole culture is terrible, nobody should be treated like they treat people who need to get their cars from their impound. They give a lot unnecessary hard time in order to give your car back, they leave standing there without telling you that they get back to you. Rude people. It is not about the cost and charges at all, I would careless. Your attitude is like price tag, it shows how VALUABLE YOU ARE.

Horrible, they were rude on the phone with me and left it up to me too call them back to see if they found my title. Which made the the interaction go passed 5 and therefore had to pay more money to get my car back. On top of that, they completely gutted my stereo system out of my truck in the time it had been towed to the junk yard and I was able to get it back. My stereo head plate already came out when I rolled the vehicle but I did not rip my whole center console out that held my stereo system... I mean seriously, just sad. Poor business experience and models apparently.

The lady was awful! She hated the world and charged fees that made no sense. She wore no mask and coughed while in front of me and my 5 month old baby! When i complained about it she said i should have left the baby in my car! Seriously??!! I told her by city ordinance mask are required especially bc she works there!!# DO NOT GO HERE!!

I'm only giving 3stars cause the tow OP who helped us today was very professional and nice. The lady in office needs to learn the law and respect. She was nothing but rude. The tow ops seem very professional but the lady in the office needs to be fired. She is so unprofessional and such a witch. That's being nice.

In addition to being prompt and professional, the Puckett team went well out of their way to move our trailer when our car broke down. They maneuvered it out of a tricky spot behind a dumpster and took it to a safe place before towing the car. We worked with three different people who were on call that night and they were all extremely warm and courteous. When they took us to the station to switch drivers we noticed a plaque on the wall commemorating their dedication to assisting in the Oklahoma City Federal Building debris removal after the terrorism incident. It is clear that the reason this company has been in business over 100 years is because they do a great job. Thank you Puckett's for helping us out!

HORRIBLE experience. The OKCPD had Puckett's tow my car after an accident. I only dealt with the large, extremely rude lady who works at the counter but she seemed to take getting my truck back as difficult as possible. Once my vehicle made it to the body shop, I was informed that there were no keys to the vehicle. Puckett's initially told me that there were no keys when they picked up the vehicle. Wrong, it states clearly on my hand receipt that they received the keys. Puckett's told my insurance co that I came in to retrieve person items and the keys. WRONG, bold face lie! I went to Puckett's to show paperwork and have my vehicle released. There's no record of me or anyone else receiving personal property. Later, Puckett's stated that the vehicle left their impound with a key. WRONG, the body shop had paperwork stating that there was no key when they received the vehicle. ALL LIES. So, I was forced to come out of my pocket to pay for a locksmith. Worst of all, no one was surprised when I told them about the horrible service and missing keys. Puckett's is known for that type of behavior. Avoid the downright RUDENESS, SHIFTINESS, and possible THEFT. Take your business somewhere else. Plus, the Puckett's office and impound is a dump. You don't want your vehicle there.
