They brought me a huge dump bin for me and let me unload my cans and was quick to get it weighed out for me and I got a better amount for the product I dropped off

Place needs signs for in and outbound scale. Small to the right is inbound, larger to left is outbound. I was ringing the phone off the hook while on the scale. Then a lady comes up and says she had my weight, but wrong scale. Told her where I was going and she showed me the dock. Not hard to back in, plenty of room. Just watch for people, cars, and equipment. Not much pull up room in front of the dock, so get close then worry about getting straight. Scale in to paperwork just over an hour. Not too bad, been to way worse. I did get there around 1130 so I did expect a little extra time being close to lunch. Petro is just up the road, I'd advise rescaling. Load was 45.5 or 46.5k, 1600 difference between the scale tickets, just over 79k and load was balanced. So someone knows how to load!! If every day was this smooth, I'd take it every time I'm in okc.

I have traveled to your okc location on more than one occasion to find that the workers have left early or the entire facility has closed during the posted times you say your open. The weather was fine so there was no reason to close. It would be nice if you guys answer the phone sometimes. The # listed on the website and on the review replies is never answered.

Worst experience; besides the rude, unhelpful person in the office, times posted are incorrect.

The guys are always helpful if you have questions. And it's usually quick in and out. Call first if you go to the small scale. Sometimes they close for lunch.

Sick of them closing early .... They need to stay open to the posted times.. I drive way to far to be turned away day after day

They did help us unload our scrap . It's an unsightly place to look at but at least the workers helped us.. I sure would hate to live around this place tho. Sad just very sad... There has got to be a better way . .

No Hassle! Fast, professional, kind, a little overwhelming watching it all happen but overall a great experience. I will absolutely be back.

If you are here to get loaded by DryVan, get comfortable and get ready to sit for a little while. The guy that loads these trailers drags his feet and is never in a hurry. I’ve been here a few times and every time I came I’ve sat on the dock for at least an hour before he even touches the trailer. Just make sure you have plenty of time on your clock. Then once you’re loaded you scale out and then have to wait a while again for paperwork. I hate coming here but have to do what I have to do.

Used to go here all the time the last two days I have went I have called and was told something completely different then what happened when I got there idk if it's new people running it or what but with gas over 5$ a gallon and then lying about what they do and don't do wouldn't waste your time also the lady up there is extremely hateful I'll never go back

Hours said close at 4:30! Hit the scale at 4:20 had a few busted lawnmowers to junk and the lady was as rude as could be. We drove all the way from Guthrie delt with construction and traffic. I understand 10 minutes till close but it wouldn’t have taken us that long. Still doesn’t justify the disrespectful attitude we received through the speaker! And if your gonna stop taking materials at 4:00. Post that you close at 4! We were hoping after being turned away by your neighbors you’d show some grace. And instead we were treated disrespectfully!

Haven't been there in years but I went today and remembered why it was my go to place back in the day. Courteous, fast, and pay always seems to be competitive.

Idk why they post hours of operation on here if they aren't going to adhere to them.

Between Metal Check, recyclers on main, Al's and this place this has become my favorite as of July 2021. I take every thing and they have paid me well. Also have taken a gooseneck dump trailer and it's the easiest place to maneuver around. Organized, efficient and friendly. Not a mud pit either.

Before you visit this specific recycling plant - think of the hundreds if not thousands of the families living around the area that has been affected by this specific recycling plant. Just a quick google - you will find news article related to this recycling plant that has constantly cause shockwaves/quakes around the neighborhood as a result of recycling these gas tanks. This area is next to the blooming downtown of OKC but yet we allow businesses like this to continue to affect families in this lower median income area. So if you are thinking about going an extra mile or two to the next recycling plant further out from the city - please do so. The owner of this plant cares nothing about the houses that have gone through foundation issues because he said "he is allow to operate". There's a fine line between being thoughtful and how it affects the livelihood of others in the area.

They are causing large explosions and damaging our homes and properties. After a large explosion today it shattered my dryer door. Their response we have a permit to do what we do. I called the Mayor Holt this needs to stop.

I always go to Al's, but today I gave a shot. Employees are really kind, laid back, lot of space to park and turn around. However, price for steel large scale is lower than Al's. I got 500LB for $30 at Al's, but $26 at CFF. If you are a professional scrapper, I suggest you to go with Al's. But if you are a beginner or weekend dad, here is the good place to start.
