This place is great about waiting time but I have felt more than once I received far less than I should've. As they do not inform you of what your scrap weighs or what its worth as it goes over the scale.
(They quickly weigh it, then toss it into another larger bucket of like metals before there us any chance at a discrepancy) You are handed a small piece of paper that still does not show your payout on it. Once your inside a man behind bulletproof glass takes your paper and doles out the 'Appropriate Amount" money. An appropriate name for it would be:

(Weigh&Pray they dont get ya to badly) haha other than that employees are polite, helpful and courteous. One even offered to take a catalytic converter of my hands since I no longer had the necessary paperwork to scrap it as I got rid of the the car YEARS ago there was nothing I could do. He politely offered me to 18 dollars for it. Smfh n I gave it to him not knowing what its true value was. He of course being employed there is able to scrap it without the requisite paperwork us scrap metal civilians are required to produce before they will take it. Smfh
Want to start by saying this is the cleanest yard we have been to ever. The gals and guys at Small scalesis the most amazing crew . Brandy explained to us how to sort and get more money for our copper . She even checked on us a few times while we was sorting to make sure we was on track... Never had a scrap yard take the time explain the whole process. Then checking out with the guy inside was great. We was welcomed with a smile and got our money and was on our way. Good job Al's employees. Keep up the great job. We won't go anywhere else.
Love the people and they are very fair and helpful. The guy at front is awesome and so are the 2 guys in the very back helping all of us with all smiles. And the crew in the front doing carts and weights are also very friendly and helpful. Great job and keep up the work.
I had a great experience, especially at the big scale where Candy was very polite and helpful. Definitely recommend for anybody who needs to get rid of anything recycled metal .

Absolutely love the crew running small scales. I was new and wasn't sure really what to do but Brandy showed me how to sort my different items out to get the most money . She really makes it look so easy knowing all the different items and explained how to tell the items apart so next time i know how it needs to be sorted . Als has a customer for life . Thank you!
I’ve been there a few times now and will continue to go there. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The property is clean and doesn’t have that nasty scrap yard smell that most do.
I go there all the time, they are cleaner than most scrap yards and the staff is top tier. Worker Candy is always quick and friendly! Love this place! Definitely the place you want to go for scraping money!

I am torn... the people who take my copper are pretty funny and still get the job done and very respectful to my brother and I as we are respectful to them and make jokes with them. They did admit that they forgot the work "Professionalism," but I had no complaints as they took care of us and were funny. Maybe we are the problem by being respectful, and the reason I'm torn is bc I kind of wanted to get roasted, but as George Washington once said, I can not tell a lie. We'll be back

Update: Maybe if you were working and not typing you’d find a way to process these items that hurt your equipment. Too hard for you, ay. You’d rather feel BIG by being rude and mouthy. I didn’t come by, mam. I called. There was no explanation of what you do or don’t take just an unhelpful, No. So, again any and ALL perspective clients, do yourselves a favor and let this business run themselves into the ground with wasted time and keystrokes.
I wasn’t going to leave a review until I read your awful response to a customer who unfortunately chose your business to trust.
Do know what the word ALL means?
You falsely advertise that you take ALL metal.
If you did, you’d take the steel I was offering this morning.
Maybe you just aren’t well enough equipped.
Seems so silly, but, they don’t do mattress coils. Just skip this place in general. Choose a place where they value people and speak kindly to folks trying to do business with them.
Poor direction for somebody new at sorting scrap. Pulled up to the front told the person that I had sorted scrap metal where do I take it. Was told to drop it off in the back so I did. Then I went across the scales and they put me down for unsorted scrap and paid me on that. Had 500 lb of aluminum, sheet metals, and copper. Told the person at the counter what happened and he had no reasonable explanation. Called a manager to tell them the issue and they could care less about it. Told me I could come back and grab the separated metal and put it in the separation bins that I was not told to go to. When I came back all the metal was pushed on top of the hill that I had no access to grab. So I am out time and money sorting these metals out taking appliances apart for $40 that should have been $300 plus. Very poor experience, staff, and management.
Those guys and girls that work up there are Non-Stop. Everyone is very helpful and does not mind taking time to make your material worth more than what you thought. The management is very super cool and helpful. I don't go to scrap yards a lot but I will definitely be going to this one. From the lowest guy at the small scales to the guy running the crane to the owner everyone has excellent knowledge of what's going on and what things are. Keep up the good work y'all....
This was our first time here and we were treated well. I had called ahead to check their price on aluminum cans and to verify they accepted them. They definitely accept ALL metals. With the exception of needing proper paperwork/ID for some metals, this was an easy process. The staff was professional and courteous outside. After 20 years of working in the customer service industry, I was impressed. We had been needing to get rid of our aluminium cans for about a year and ended up with 100 pounds. I was quoted .36 cents a pound when I called earlier and that's EXACTLY what we recieved. We'll definitely be back with ANY of our future metal recycling needs.
