We had a flat on I-75 and barely made it to a parking lot. We called Ray's Auto Service on a suggestion (we're visiting the area). Marcus came out to change the tire for us. He was super and had a great attitude. He was very courteous, quick about his work and gave us directions to boot. Thanks, Ray's. You'd better keep Marcus - he is an excellent reflection of your business!!

Had a fuel line come loose and they were able to take care of it same day for a reasonable price.

If you have to get a tow truck and need you car towed 100 miles home, I would trust these guys. Chris was really nice and a pleasure to ride with! Also has a great selection of music.

I have used rays towing before they towed my camaro from perrysburg to oregon for 159.00 . That's fair . In Nov they were called to northwood oh by n wood pd to tow my van hit by a drunk driver to oregon oh. 1/2 mile away and charged me 660.00 . I think was a scam I would not use them ever again ! They flat out scammed me !

My vehicle was stalling when driving in bitter cold weather. I was able to get it to Ray’s. They called within an hour. Told me the problem and price I was back on the road that afternoon. The price was reasonable and the mechanic was informative and patient when I asked a few questions

Called 20 different tow company's, mobile mechanics and repair shops. All for a simple 3 gallons of anti freeze for my Company Truck. Roy went to auto zone, bought the correct fulid and brought it 30 minutes out to me. 09-03-24. All while In a TA service center parking lot with TA not willing to help. Thanks Roy!

Called AAA for a tow was told driver would be there within 30 minutes after waiting 3 hours. After 70 minutes AAA could not get in touch with driver or dispatch. At 90 minutes I called rays myself and was told they decided they wanted to take a tow in Indiana to make more money and that I needed to find another option. Shipley ended up coming right away and taking care of everything. Rays left me stranded when I needed them most and was ruthless and uncaring with their approach to a resolution. STAY FAR AWAY FROM RAYS THEY WILL LEAVE YOU STRANDED.

We have been going to Rays for a few months. My van has needed a few different things and every time I have gone to have them look at it they take care it and do a first class job. If you are looking for something different from a chain repair shop. This is it. Thank you Rays for always doing a fantastic job for us!!

I LOVE Ray’s!! It started out with a tow and ended up with a service. The mechanic found the problem quickly and I had an oil change done also. I was more impressed when I got an email reminding me to schedule my next oil change. I called this morning and luckily I was able to get in. Their prices are much better than the previous places I’ve dealt with. Ray’s is the ONLY place I will take my jeep. Thank you for great work and great customer service.

I did not have any intentional service from this company, but I am letting everyone know they are towing vehicles from parking spots located behind their building that are not marked at the lot entrance or at the spot they tow from. They demand $138 cash or the price goes up $30 the next day.

Got into a bind when I broke a control arm on my Jeep Liberty. I took it to a dealership because it was a recall, but they were backed up 4-6 wks. Then our 2nd took a “dookie” and could not be repaired. So got the Jeep over to Ray’s and they turned it around in a day! Had the brakes done there not too long back as well, and I have been very happy with the work they have done to keep my old Jeep running! I highly recommend Ray’s Automotive!

My tow truck driver was great however customer service who answered my call, rude. I seldom leave reviews, ever, but it needed to be said. I felt worse about my stressful situation after speaking with her (T. on Monday morning 9/18 at 11:30am) fix that. Wow.

Going to Ray's Service Station is always a good experience. Sadie Saturn, my car, gets regular "spa" treatment which is why my car runs so well all the time. Prices are reasonable, too, and the staff is pleasant and professional.

Broke down in Defiance. Rays had me hooked up and on the bed in no time. The driver Mitchell was professional and pleasant to talk to on the hour plus ride back. I would highly recommend Rays!

Did a fine job loading my car (probably because I was standing there watching) but I was definitely overcharged. Then I get my car back and notice my rear bumper is all gashed up and scratched which obviously had to of been from their truck. I wouldn’t have even been mad if they were at least honest and told me but now it looks like my mechanic did the damage which is false. Thanks guys, really appreciate the extra care u guys took👎. I also need my receipt dummies

We have to share this experience. Awesome customer service!! We are not from the area. About 90 miles from home. Car had been running fine all day stopped to eat came out and car wouldn’t start. With countless calls for help and with no luck. This business provided service. Did not catch the tow truck drivers name but what an awesome employee. Jumped the car and assured us that as long as we didn’t shut it off we would make it home .... Cannot express what a great person he is. Thank You so much! July 22nd 2021

My 12 yr old & I were out of state visiting Toledo when my jeep's ball joint & tie rod broke. Not only did their tow truck come immediately, but also they prioritized our repair & had it fixed early the very next day. Eveyone I dealt with were professional, honest & very kind! Ray even called when we were on our way home just to verify that my jeep was good & we had no issues. I cannot say enough great things about this company. I highly recommend them to anyone!!!

Wife got into a car accident. The man that hitter drove away told us he didn’t have insurance or a drivers license. The police were on phase 2 so they were not coming to accidents without injury. Called a friend of mine and recommended Rays. They quoted me $90 but when they got there they said the car wasn’t where they thought it was so they quoted me $154. Was very nonchalant and rude about the price change so my wife said you do not have to be rude about it. I handed him my credit card and he said find somebody else and drove away. Very very unprofessional and will never recommend this place!!!!!

Corroded cable on my starter left me stranded. Ray's Towing was assigned by Allstate Roadside Assistance. I was stranded just a few miles from Ray’s so the driver was there almost immediately and recommended that Ray’s Service do the repair. It’s an older vehicle so I just wanted the cheapest route. The driver said they would call with an estimate to see if they just needed to replace the corroded cable or replace the starter. They allowed me to buy the starter and have them install it, so that’s what I did. When I dropped of the starter, I clarified with them what the driver had said and repeated to them, “I’m not sure if it’s a bad starter or just needs a new cable. The driver said I could get an estimate before performing any work”. They said they could “diag” it, so I said, great, let me know. Never received an estimate, just a call that it was completed. Picked it up only to find an extra $50 charge for diagnostic services. Great place to go if you like being taken advantage of. I’ve recommended that Allstate find another towing service.

Great service! I was very impressed. Called in for a tow at 9:05am and they were at my location by 9:13am. 8 minutes is pretty hard to beat. I am used to waiting anywhere from 45min to 1 hour and 45 min with other companies. I ended up having my car towed to their auto shop in Perrysburg to be worked on. Ray's services has the best auto mechanics in Perrysburg in my opinion and the customer service is outstanding.

The tow truck driver was funny. Gave me a promise that my car will be ready that day. Not knowing the shop was behind. I called at noon and the shop supervisor was a little disappointed that the tow driver made a promise they couldn't fill. My car was done that day. Great break job and fast service. I will be a regular customer. Thank you Perrysburg Ray's auto for getting me done that day and not over cost.

I used my roadside service through Progressive because my car broke down on the way to the shop. They called and sent a text before they came, and gave an ETA. They came even earlier then the message said they were going to which was great because I was in a car that wasn't running in the cold The tow truck driver might have been the nicest tow truck driver I've ever encountered. It's great to see if business that has great service and customer service.

We experienced car trouble while traveling to Ohio for business. Ray's towed our truck and gave us quick and affordable service. Within two hours we were fixed and back on the road. Thank you for a job well done!

This place is totally overpriced!! The guy told me over 400 bucks to get a new starter, really? He told me the starter had a lifetime warranty like that justified you trying to smurf me out my money!! Hello, Auto Zone and other auto parts place also have lifetime warranties. He charged 111.00 for labor and must’ve been 300 for the starter, WHAT!! The part was literally 162.99 at Advantage auto parts. Got the job done for 230 bucks. You tell me who’s getting over? They totally suck!!

It only took 15 mins for the tow truck to get to me and the rate was reasonable. The driver Oscar was friendly and courteous, he quickly calmed my anxious nerves. If I ever find myself in need of another tow I already know who to call.

I have used Ray's on a couple of occasions. I had to call them tonight for a tow. They are the nicest people and got to where we were very fast. The driver dropped our car off at the shop we use and ran us home. The driver waited to make sure we got into the house before he pulled off. The charge was very reasonable and they are very nice. I will use them again but I hope not soon. I recommend this business to all.
