Big Oak made a mantle for me and I was really impressed with their craftsmanship...it came out perfect for my space. Once installed I'll add a picture. I spoke with Mitchell and his dad during the process and they were both great to work with. I highly recommend them.
I’ve been buying from Mitch and his Father for years. They are wonderful yo work with and very honest. My neighbors, family, and friends have all become customers with the same results. We recently completed a pond retaining wall using limestone boulders from big oak reclaimed. It came out great and Mitch was there to help us pick out stone and load us up even with short notice. I highly recommend them for jobs big and small.
Had a great shopping experience. All the recycled sandstone, wood and other products he has on site are about as varied as you can get. Walked around for almost an hour looking at everything. Ended up buying couple tons of sandstone- that was delivered next day. Very helpful & patient, Mitchell and crew did a great job!

We were looking for flat stones to finish our steps on our deck. They had exactly what we needed. They were very helpful showing us the various flat stones available. They are very reasonable regarding pricing. They did not try to take advantage of us because we were trying to finish our steps. We chose to go get a barn beam for our fireplace mantle from Big Oak, all the way from Willoughby- about a hour drive, even though there are a couple of places closer to us that we could’ve went to… there is a reason for this!
Mitch was so kind, friendly, and knowledgeable in exactly what we were looking for! He (and Brennen- a very nice, young man), took the time in helping me pick out just the right beam! Ordered a table from Big Oak. Mitch walked us through the process and was an excellent broker through the way. They have invaluable knowledge of their products. I wouldn't go anywhere else as they can likely get what you need or recommend a solution.

I bought stone from Mitch to build a wall to line our front garden beds. He was knowledgeable, patient with questions, easy to work with, and transparent about pricing. Really great experience. We bought stone that was small enough to move by hand and delivery was really considerate of the driveway and lawn. Great people
Mitchell was willing to sell me some smaller pieces of reclaimed stone. We met up at the agreed time. He had a nice selection to choose from. He even cut the pieces to size and roughed up the edges to make them look more natural. Great experience. Will go back.

Great business to work with. Mitchel took time to help get what I wanted. Im also satisfied with the variety, of beams and siding. My note to a homeowner is don’t feel intimidated to check this out even if your order is small. Yes, they do contractor orders too, but still have time for the little guy. I’ve been back and plan to go again.

Mitchell was unbelievable! I needed a 14 foot beam and I needed it rather quickly Mitchell was phenomenal communicating with me and helping me get the beam in a timely fashion! He delivered it to my house and help me put it in the garage. It was really an unbelievable experience, and I will be choosing them again. Next time I need a similar product!!
