I stop by the shop and was pleasantly greeted by the owner who took me thru his shop and showed me all he was working on. I thought I was intruding on his work time. It was a great experience to see the passion this man has for the work he does and the love for what he does. I stopped back by with a problem I was having with my tail light he was more than happy to take the time to talk to me and take time from his busy schedule
Most people would have said make an appointment. During are discussion more and more people stopped by to say hi or ask questions. That's not only old school motorcycles that's old school badass. I was very impressed. A true artist to his passion for motorcycles. Brad Garrett
Donnie is the coolest most honest old school biker mechanic you could ever hope to meet. He'll always tell you like it is and never sugar coat things or sell you something you can't use or don't need... If you can get your bike in to him, you'll know how lucky you and your bike are!
When is this place ever open? Go in there when it is open and just see anyone that is there just sitting around doing nothing. Atleast American Thunder is open during advertised hours and answers their phone. How the hell is this place do any bussiness
Super fast friendly service. VERY punctual, I would highly recommend this shop. VERY fair priced, and knows what the hell they are doing, this town SO needed a reputable bike shop & FINALLY got one! Great job guys 👍👍
I snapped my drive belt on my 91 heritage and due to being wrapped up in other projects I put it on the back burner but the time came I was ready to get out and enjoy the road, I called a couple shops and the soonest I could get in was early July and and shop said mid august but I stumbled across this shop and I’m so glad I did. He told me to bring it in the next day! I was kinda shocked but was thankful, and I figured he would take some time which I was completely fine with. However I forgot to leave him the key for my saddle bag so I went back the next day to drop it off AND HE HAD ALREADY FINISHED! I was super impressed and the price was way beyond fair. I will definitely give him my business again and point others in his direction.
This in my eyes is the best cycle shop in Akron Donny is the finest mechanic I have had the pleasure to deal with Sence wordons triumph. Or only 20 or more years ago rubber city take a seat to the traditional old school bike shops of back in the day boy were you can go in get your part or parts an be on the road not order an ride next month that is what it is all about broz
This place is a joke. 1981 Yamaha, guy refuses to work on it because its "too old". Yet I brought it in before and had a quote on some other stuff done. These guys are liars and a scam. Guy wanted 75$ plus parts just to adjust the floaters. Stay away from this place.

Don is a great guy. He took very good care of me and my bike. Came and picked it up from my house and had it done the same day. Very reasonable prices. The name says it all. He is old skool! He offered me all of my old parts back when I went to pick up my bike too. Total class act. He has earned my respect and my business!
Nice motorcycle shop catering to those that ride older Harleys. Catering to those needing parts for Harleys from the 1930s to present. The service department can handle all the old bikes as well as newer stuff.
D. Taylor that owns this place is so presice on everything he does and knows its really amazing! Theres nothing he doesn't know about Harleys!!! So if you want it dine rite, OLD SKOOL CYCLES is THE place to take your bike!VERY Fair on prices and labor.!!
