Just got a tire rotation done from john and his crew they were extremely quick and made sure everything was correct. They are extremely good at what they do. I highly recommend anyone to take their vehicle to John. John is extremely informative and honest he's probably one of the best mechanics you'll ever find.

This guy was great. He was honest. Gave me an answer I did not want to hear regarding my car (head gasket), however, he did not try and ring me out for every cent i had. He gave me guidance and his professional opinion on what the best next step would be. I will definitely be going back.

Sometimes, not helping someone, is still helping someone!!!! A quick recognition to John at Kallabrate Auto here in town. We took our son's car to this establishment, first visit, after a quick diagnosis we did not get the news we were hoping for. The car needs a lot of work and what the car value is, the mileage, the year, repairs would not be justifiable. Even if we moved forward, it may or.may not reaolve the inevitable. That being said, John laid out all the information so we could make an educated financial decision. John could have just simply made the repairs with us none the wiser and we could have been facing a larger financial hole. However, he decided to be ethical, transparent, and professional. This is exactly the type of business that is needed in Canal Fulton. Placing needs of customers 1st! It’s so hard to find an auto shop that u can trust! A couple weeks ago I got a flat tire and John helped me with finding a person to tow my vehicle and took my car in right away and was finished the same day. I was amazed!! I went back in for more tires recently and he had them done and my car ready in an hour. I’m so glad I found a new trustworthy place for my car. We took a used minivan we were looking to purchase here for an inspection. They were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. The gentleman we spoke with gave us a detailed rundown of the pros and cons of the car and discussed the value of the car with the few issues he found in the inspection. We were astounded at the level of care we received at this shop. He didn’t even end up charging us for the inspection, which was so unexpected and kind. If you’re looking for an honest and knowledgeable shop, this is the one for you. We definitely recommend!

Of my 40 years of being a car owner - hands down - John Kalla and his family members are the most honest, competent auto mechanics I’ve ever done business with. “Honest” is an understatement. I was quoted $3800 from Subaru for repairs, and John did it for half that estimate and showed me before and after what needed to be done and why. He also charged me “cost” for the parts which I was able to verify. I drive 40 miles to his location as do my friends and family members because of the outstanding, honest service. John gives his testimony that he started his own shop because he couldn’t consciously continue to work for the major dealers in their service centers because they continuously take advantage of people in unethical ways. I’ve referred John to everyone I know and all of them have the same excellent experiences I do. We have worked with John Kalla on a few occasions. He is honest and very knowledgeable about what is needed when we have repairs. I wouldn’t go to any other mechanic. He got the job done even when we thought it couldn’t be repaired for our 16 year old son’s car. Trustworthy and does reliable work!

I had my truck serviced at Serra Chevrolet and after their tech left my front driverside wheel with every lugnut able to be loosened BY HAND my wheel literally almost came off the axle while transporting my 2 year old girl to daycare. See videos. This situation also shaved some of the metal between the lug nut and axle from the tire wobbling which reduced the structural integrity of the wheel. Being just across the street, John's shop was literally the closest place I could take my vehicle. Not only did he immediately identify the issue but he did several other safety checks on-the spot while explaining everything he was doing, and why. That single interaction left me with the confidence to become a forever customer of his. He is a top-notch mechanic, a really kind man, and has stellar customer service.
