Switched to Rumpkee after having Waste Management for 6 months. They showed up 3 times in those 6 months and then charged me for 4 months after i canceled my service. Rumpkee is on time every week. Definitely recommend!!

Faithfully comes every week. Only complaint I have is I don’t think I should have to pay a fuel surcharge. Also they leave the lid open and if it rains it fills with water. I’m 75 and it’s hard for me to dump out the water.

I have had Rumpke's service for 8 years and have not had any problems with them!

I had a great talk on our call. The rep. Took the time to explain everything to me full in detail. I was very pleased when our call ended.

No problems too report on piick up Cost is a bigger thing. I put out less and pay more for pickup price more tan tripled

They do a great job every week. Company does a good job of communicating any potential delays in service.

There has a couple times my trash was not picked up at all during a holiday week. When I contacted Rumpke about it they simply said it would be picked up the next week. Not all of us a huge dumpsters or extra room for our trash to wait until Rumpke decides to do their job. Other than that they seem okay.

Very nice people. I could use a senor discount but other than that no problem.

I've been with Rumpke for over three years and during that time I bought two brand new 55 gallon trash cans at the cost of $78/ and in the past 3 years my trash was not picked up on the day it was supposed to be/ I wasn't compensated for the two trash cans that were destroyed and busted all up and I could not use them again after I reported t o Rumpke about this issue., I never got any reply actually, so that's my story

You do a great job with household trash. I wish you could provide recycling services also. Also, a smaller size trashcan would be great as I am almost 90 years old and a smaller receptacle would be easier for me to handle.

I live on a rural route in Highland county. Driver is great. They come when they should. No complaints.

I had flooring for bulk pickup and used email. Got a quick response and it was all gone last Friday. Thank you

Most of the time Rumpke is great . Our big garbage container that we rent broke after many years of use. The service that delivers them took too long to deliver a new one. We had to purchase 2 trash cans and they are not cheap.

Superb service and if I did have a problem or a missed pickup I called and someone was right out to correct it I was actually shocked they came back

It's a transfer station... If your looking for luxury this ain't it. But in terms of a dump station it's grade A. The staff is super friendly. Easy in and out. As of July 2025 $85 for up to 2 tons. The yard is clean (for a dump station). Far cheaper to take your own trash here than curbside pickup if you have the time and equipment.

To the staff at Rumpke. I appreciate each and everyone of you. My husband and I would make trips to the land fill each week. He called it a date. I did not enjoy the trip at all. But I went. I am so thankful for your service. I smile each time you come and take our stuff away. Feeling thankful for Rumpke in Orient Ohio.🙏🏼❤️

Worst trashing company I have ever used! I called the company asking them to come back around to pick up our trash. They Guaranteed they would. They did not comeback and I called back oh we can’t make it back out until next pick up date. I cancelled my service and will be going to WM. Shame on rumpke.

Service was great for the first 9 years. Had about 5-6 missed services in the last year. But when reported they came by the next day first thing in the morning. Very customer friendly.

I have been a Rumpke customer for a few years. They are prompt in pick up and I have never had an issue at all. I appreciate the hard work the employees do for us.

Excellent Service! Kind gentlemen always working hard and respectfully. These men go out of their way to get extra bags or trash that may fall out; they are great about taking care of the people and are greatly underappreciated. I live near Grove City, not Chillicothe, just fyi

Rumpke Waste employees are great. They take care of your trash cans. The customer service department is friendly and helpful. I’ve been with Rumpke for over ten years with no problems. I highly recommend Rumpke Waste .

Has been taking my trash and other things we needed to get rid of for over 20 years. Always very polite and professional when I have been in yard during pick up times. Just needed to call ahead when I needed heavier items picked up. Never once was I told no, can't do it.

We have had Rumpke service for years After we moved to the Chillicothe area our service has been very bad. In the last 2 months our trash has been picked up a total of 3 times. When we call customer service we are told the reason is weather. We are not on any weather levels for our county. At one time I had a family member who used to work at Rumpke. He used to be out in much worse weather collecting the trash. I am tired of paying my bill that has increased by about 25.00 in the last year and have poor service. Fed.up with this!

I can't give less than one star, or I would. Have had this company for trash pick up for well over 5 years. They have gotten worse and worse. Our trash doesn't get picked up most weeks. Calling in they say we will send someone out within 48 hours and never see anyone. Looking at reviews, looks like this is how they run their company now. Comments are we are sorry and we pride ourselves on great customer service, well then step up Rumpke!! Stop lacking and begin making up for your lack of customer care. I don't know what the problem is within your company but those paying for a service shouldn't be the ones paying for it. Unsafe pickup conditions do NOT consist of a half an inch of wet snow on the gravel.

Edit: The company responds with the exact same reply to every negative review. They don't actually want to make things better. I ended up canceling my service and going with a much better company Did not pick up our trash multiple times. Apparently they're allowed to miss pick up for 48 hours before they offer any refund. Multiple calls resulted in the same response. "We'll put in a note to the driver. Leave your trash out by the road and they'll be around to get it." But they never came.
