No weekend hours, and you close at 3PM??
How is anyone with a job supposed to get there with those hours? I’ve got a truck load of stuff and will have to burn a vacation day to bring it in..
There the cheapest place to go and somehow there everywhere now I hate big corporations and then IDC what kind of ferrious metals you take there ur getting unclean sheet price every time they suck staff is rude even at the one in sharonville
I wish they were open more. And when they are open it's a ridiculously long process most of the time. Update- they offered me $6 for a brand new catalytic converter.
I took a light load, 100 lbs steel and 5 aluminum wheels. The wheels were clean except one had some paint on it. They counted all of them as dirty and the price was .28 cents per pound. Checking on line that is half of what other places give for aluminum wheels.
Tried to charge me 15 dollars to scrap a freezer. Unheard of never in all my years have I been charged to scrap a freezer. Never taking anything here again.
If I could give them 0 stars I would, they shorted me $100 and refused to give me it with me still in the building where you get paid, their crooked and won't own up to it
Good customer service over email and in person. If you just want to get rid of large metal items without dumping it on someone else's property or trash bin this is a good place but dont expect to get much for it.
Hours and days are horrible for working people.
Lot is a mess. After going through the drive thru, I had no idea where exactly to go to get back to the main drive and there are small and large pieces of metal all over the place. Was hoping I didnt pop a tire just getting out of there.

Only giving two stars from previously decent experiences when they were located in Hamilton. I've tried for over a month to get Craig on the phone to work out a simple purchase, get no response to email, sent to his voicemail, no responses, call back and get sent to main line voicemail when I just talked to someone moments ago... Poor customer service......
although I did not see this info on their website, recycling electronics - a tv in our case - costs (us) 65 cents per pound. Still less expensive than Best Buy charges, which is $24 per item.
The place was a joke. First no one tells you where to go and they get aggravated when you ask people needless to say after sitting through two lines I get to the pay window and she tells me that I'm on a do not by list and that if there's not someone with me then I got to leave all that stuff there which was $180 for them for free not to mention the 290 lb of stainless steel I had the guy tried to tell me it was not stainless whenever I bought it from the place it was sold at stainless steel I would not recommend anyone to go there I've been to about every scrap yard there is and that is the worst one.
The employees were super friendly and very helpful. It was such a nice change from seems like most businesses employees anymore. Most seem to act like it's a burden to help a customer with questions or help with something. That was definitely NOT the case today at Cohen. They were great would have given them a 10 star rating if that was an option. Keep up the great work there everyone!! Was definitely a very nice experience! 🙂
Employees were very helpful and understanding with me, being my first visit and quite clueless to the process. I made a few bucks and cleaned out the yard. I plan on visiting again:)
Place is a rip off. Told me my empty file cabinets was unclean sheet because of the screws holding the handles on. I hope the Attorney general gets involved. This place rips a lot of ppl off.
It appears that the fat lazy pukes that were mistaken for employees lack any kind of knowledge when it comes to telling time.... As I pulled in at 2:50 today and they were locking the gate. Never again, and I will do my best to keep reminding others to consider different places as well
I have been coming to the Middletown yard for about 9 months and the gentleman there have been more than helpful! I so appreciate their knowledge and help unloading when I get stuck. A special thank you to Chuck, Jared and Dave….so helpful!
I've went here for years and years and sold copper, metal and aluminum but there is some young guy in his 30's who is kind of heavyset and takes the metal and he is so angry all the time and rude to the customers so I've just stopped bringing stuff in I can't stand to be around him. If he hates working there that much he needs to find another job more appropriate where he doesn't have to work with the public..
Had a load of 50% or better of aluminum bike rims. And other half high crome rims. Could only get dirty wrote.only way to get clean was if I took every spoke off. 83. For load moraine recycling would have given almost 15% more.a little further but nicer drive middletown roads and tracks are hard on vehicles and trailer. Well at least wasn't charged for empty weight slip for bmv saved 15 there
girl inside when we took aluminum very rude kept rolling her eyes and huffing when customers were still coming in half an hour before they were closing she wasnt too anxious or quick moving to help customers hope she finds a job where she doesn't have to deal with people everyone else seemed to be very friendly and helpful
