This place is so swamped lately they are miss quoting scraping prices. Plus, they are confusing car manufacturers and models during the quoting. The owner who does the quoting blames others for his errors in not confirming that he has the correct information. We got 1 price on the phone, and in person, he was trying to drop it 100.00 after our car was already en route to him. Also, the used cars are way overpriced.
Wife n I feel we will see our car back on the road or for sale soon. If it does and it sells for more than 2500, I feel bad for the new buyer. We paid that 4 years ago before the engine n electric issues.
O% I didn't like it they want 5000 to 2000 for there junkyard car they are selling no body will buy those cars from them. I give them a thumbs down. The van is 5000 and the other car is the other piece
Since mike isn’t running/working there anymore it’s turned to a sorry excuse for a parts yard would not recommend going there at all hours say there open yet all lights are turned off and door is locked and nobody around this place is just laughable now hate to see a place I used to go to as a kid and grow up getting my parts for my vehicles get ran into the ground like it is if possible I would give no stars at all go to Walt’s auto instead at least there their open
This is one of the only places I've taken my car to where they were honest with me and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. I took it in to have sway bar links replaced and other issues were found, and was told that it would be a waste to fix one without fixing the other. They jacked my car up and explained everything to me and didn't even charge me for the diagnosis. This family owned business has a lead mechanic with 32 years experience and has definitely got my business for any car needs!
Not bad prices for junk parts. Just be sure you know you're stuff and what ur looking for...like many places they will happily take a trash part off something and sell it to ya. And be sure not to pay for anything in advance...I got struts and control arms and an ac compressor. The lady told me they have all kinds of compressors laying around but they need to see mine to know which it is. Long story short I put the other parts on and when it came time to go back to get the AC compressor I decided I'm just going to get rid of this piece of junk vehicle and they were very adamant about not doing refunds of any kind for any reason for anybody which they don't say when they're taking your money in advance so just be careful that was my own fault but I thought they were the type of business that was personable that I could trust I won't be doing business there moving forward
This place is a Joke !!!! After 5 failed trips I ended up getting my money back. Very rude customer service , they believe they know everything about vehicles but continuously gives wrong parts and bad parts they only test the strength of the battery if it’s weak they will still sell it to you. I do not recommend … USE WALTS !!!
A-1 has always come thru, especially for 15year & some older model vehicles. Heads up is; they try NOT to pull parts prior to ur arrival(understandably). Become somewhat of a regular(EZ to do with older whipps)& you just may have part waiting for you at the counter upon arrival. I have used A1 on many vehicles, some not belonging to myself, and only 1 time in 7years, i returned a part, perhaps due to my misinformation given, without a hassle exchanging. Did i mention, they have great A/C, in waiting area¿Thank You A-1
I know businesses can put in the hours they are open through google business so why this place chose to say they are open on Sunday when they are not is beyond me, but I wasted time trying to come here because they are 100% closed on sundays. Fix your hours. You can do it. It's easy.
Friendly service. They have been working on my vehicles for years. Never had an issue. It’s one of the few places I can trust to do work on my vehicle. They never try to sell me more then I need. Very hard working local business. Thank you A1 ?
