I had a very disappointing experience at the Findlay salvage inspection facility. The young inspector failed my truck simply because I did not have a printed copy of the receipt for the motor I installed. I showed him the original emailed receipt, which he acknowledged before the inspection began, yet instead of allowing me to print it (with the printer sitting right in front of us) or giving me the opportunity to bring in a printed copy, he chose to fail me on the spot. Getting one of these inspection appointments is already difficult and causes significant downtime. Now I’ve lost hours of driving, wasted fuel, and face another two weeks of delay, on top of paying $1,100/month in insurance with no revenue coming in. All because of a technicality, despite having the correct proof of purchase in hand. I pay taxes, I follow the rules, and I came prepared and respectful. This situation could have easily been handled with a little common sense and professionalism, but instead it cost me valuable time and money. Very disappointing experience.

Lady was very rude over the phone. If you have questions don't bother calling and asking because they won't help.

First time experience, could not have went better. Kudos, to the young lady that did the inspection. She was very helpful and courteous. Having never been through this before, I had talked to different people with varying experiences, some good and some not so good. File this experience under Excellent. Thanks, to the young lady for making this process a good one.
