High price and couldn’t get the part right even though I had it in my hand

Very helpful. They really try to get your truck fixed and back on the road. As quick as possible.

Horrible, they are very rude will have you waiting for hours just for them to tell you that they cannot work on your truck!!! Would not recommend!!!

Their employees have no way of talking to customers and their way of talking is provocative and disrespectful, especially the employee who answers the phone. The customer comes to you and spends money. You do not do anything for free. You must respect customers and you must speak in a respectful manner!

Ben and Dallas both are so awesome and friendly, knowledgeable and hard working. Ben seemed to work double time and Dallas worked so hard to find and almost impossible code. Everyone is great. Highly recommend this service center.

Excellent Customer Service. My coolant started to leak profusely last night. I looked them up and stopped by. The tech even went outside to assess the problem but nothing could be done. He wrote me up so the morning team was aware. They brought my truck inside, determined I needed a water pump and immediately ordered one, replaced it, a few other items and I was on my way out the door. Job well done!!! Thank you very much

I recently had a disappointing experience with the Peterbilt dealership in Grove City, OH, which left me questioning their commitment to quality service. Here’s my story. I own a 2023 Peterbilt 389 with a Cummins ISX engine. At 120,000 miles, Thanks to digital display I noticed the oil temperature would rise to a warning level of 245°F and then drop to 241°F while driving at 68 mph on flat land. This issue persisted whether the truck was loaded or empty, while the coolant temperature remained normal at around 177°F. I took my truck to the Grove City Peterbilt service department and paid over $400 for diagnostics. They decided to pressure test the oil cooler and concluded it needed replacement, despite no signs of oil and coolant mixing. They estimated the repair cost at an additional $4,500. Shocked by the high cost, I declined their repair and sought a second opinion from my experienced mechanic friend in Ashville, OH. My mechanic found nothing visibly wrong with the original oil cooler but, since it was already removed, I had him replace it with a new one for around $4,300, including clamps and seals. Unfortunately, the issue persisted. I then took the truck to the Cummins service center in Hilliard, OH. They quickly identified the problem as a faulty oil thermostat and replaced it for $1,400, including diagnostic tests. The issue was resolved, and my truck's oil temperature returned to normal. Reflecting on my experience with the Grove City Peterbilt shop, I am frustrated by their approach. Why did they recommend the most expensive repair first without considering the oil thermostat? Did they even know that there is an oil thermostat in the engine? Why didn't their expensive diagnostics reveal the faulty oil thermostat, which was a simpler and cheaper solution? Cummins' diagnostics pinpointed the exact issue, while Grove City Peterbilt’s unprofessionalism cost me over $6,500. Had I gone directly to Cummins, I would have saved a significant amount of money. This experience taught me to be cautious about where I seek service. My advice: "Be very careful going to the Grove City, OH official Peterbilt." Sometimes, there's truth to the rumors.

You have the same issues as with any peterbilt but they will try to keep the price down for repeat customers, they could have gotten more stars but it has taken all day to complete 1 air leak, replacing an axcel sensor and a PM. Most of the day they've been working on the PM. So far 9.5 hrs.

Hands down the best dealer I’ve ever dealt with. Speed, ethics, accommodation, knowledge and communication from every single person that works there especially the lead Forman. I don’t know if it will help them out or not but I’ll be coming here when ordering my next unit.

So far so good. People are nice n fair. I don't like the pricing but it's Peterbilt . They know the truck better than I do. I feel because of the trucking business these days are in a recession. They should consider reducing costs too. Any way I need my truck working. I need to be on my way.

Night shift is awesome they get things done. They are the super heroes of this Peterbilt. They will communicate every step of the way with you on your truck and make sure you don’t sit more than you need to if they can help it. Day shift is the opposite they do the least amount of work and always have excuses for not having the work done or will lie to you about the status of your truck. Come in during night shift you won’t be disappointed

Only 2 stars due to my overall REVIEW: Arrived Thursday night, inspection Friday. Shop closed on the weekend. TODAY ON MONDAY, I received great help from JAKE, and Jacob. Being an owner operator of 2 trucks. I learn everyday, I trust that when I take my trucks to a Peterbilt I will be treated and serviced with professionalism. After all, isn’t Peterbilt the best brand in the industry? It is! But when I encounter disrespect, rude, and unprofessionalism. All drivers, and most importantly owners of this establishment should know. 5/22/23 at 12:00pm I called SERVICE, with Dominika answering the call. i called right after jacob sent my estimate. There were some things on the estimate I didn’t agree and didn’t understand why the mechanic specialists wanted to repair. I TRIED to express to Dominika that one of my repairs was to the coolant lines attached to the fuel filter. The suggested repair was to replace the fuel filter. I thought well that doesn’t fix the issue. She then tells me that’s what I told JOHN during intake. I told her that’s not correct. I described to John what the issues are, after all I’m not a mechanic. But I supported my complaint with a photo so ANY mech would swiftly be able to diagnosis the issue. The picture was of the leak. She interrupted me speaking as if I was a bother. She continued to talk over me. I told her that’s she doesn’t have to do that, I’m only trying to explain to her the problem. She then told me “ I didn’t give her the misinformation” when I told her that the shop made a mistake on the phone. I understand that she probably works hard at her job. But she FAILED TO LISTEN. She Made my experience so nasty, I almost hopped in a Uber! To go meet her face to face. The service I expect from a Peterbilt is high. We are all human, and if mis communication occurs, listening is the only way to solve the problem. With 4,000$ repairs, 600$ hotel costs, and more I expect that. She was nasty, I never disrespected her but I did tell her if she continues to interject and refuse to listen to what I have to say that she won’t be able to help me. Her temperament was BELOW BELOW SUB PAR. I encourage the owner to listen to our call for quality measure! There was no reason for her to have a title of service advisor if she can’t listen. Thank you JAKE, for listening and hearing what I was asking, with doing that you went to a mechanic and asked my questions and gave me the feedback I needed to calculate how much repairs I needed to approve, or decline. This is efficient service. Shame on Dominika !

Fantastic Service. Everyone so polite and helpful. They immediately got working on my truck and immediately found the problem most shops would have spent days chasing. Big Thanks to them ?

This has to be one of the most positive experiences I have had at a dealership! I was at my wits end trying to get a failed ECM addressed. The ECM needed the truck side programming completed and I was literally swimming in misinformation. I finally reached out to Ohio Peterbilt in Grove City and they were like we can get you taken care of in a reasonable time frame. I had the pleasure to meet staff members Jake, Dominica, John, Foreman Mike and Seth. A phenomenally talented crew. Their level of professionalism, dedication to task and integrity speaks volumes in this day and age. I whole-hearted would recommend this business as a go-to place if you are in need of service for your rig. Their level of hospitality, communication and fairness to the customer is refreshing. Thank you for keeping me roadworthy and moving. Best Regards...Michael Horn O/O and owner of 3H Transport LLC.

We have several trucks that run out of Grove City FedEx Ground. This dealer always takes great care of our trucks, whether it is maintenance or repairs. Eddie and Michael, as well as everyone in service, always do all they can to get us going as soon as possible.

I am the director of Maintenance and have been sending my trucks to this location for about 6 months. I am very impressed with the turn around and service we have received. We Have built a great relationship with this dealer. Eddie and Michael have been great communicating issues and resolving problems.

I'd give 5 stars if their parts dept time was reflected on website... I think they close at 5 as well as service counter, basically a 90% closed shop with the exception of a few guys working and didn't seem happy they were the only ones left... hell I get it, I've been there.

2 hour Rapid Check is not available at either shop in Columbus, OH was told maybe Friday more than likely Monday or Tuesday of the following week. Nothing Rapid about it, Concept lost. Parts department was very helpful.

If I could give a minus star I would. Took truck in for repair and supposedly they did repairs.when went to pick it up check engine light still on, pulled unit back in, left us waiting for 2 hours then told us they would call us when fixed. 4 days later we pick it up. 2 and half months later same thing. Parts that improperly torn up by the way it was installed. Took to different shop , they had to do it all over because of bad installation. Called service mg about problems and he became angry and aggressive. Went location mg and got the run around for 2 hours and told that he would do nothing to help. Did not realize they are not affiliated with Better business Bureau or would not take truck here. Beware of this business.
