Had my wheel bearing disintegrate on route 2 a couple days ago in pouring rain. L&M took care of us from tow to repair and had us on the road the next day. Friendly service, good work, fair price. Top notch service. Thank you to the team.

Returned a U-Haul truck, one way, from Cincinnati. Arrived early on Monday morning and the office was already open. Staff were very friendly and they took the time, to get us checked out.

Called and dispatch had a driver to me in less then 30 minutes. Driver did a great job hooking both front and back. Appreciate you guys for understanding the value of a classic car.

THIS IS THE PLACE! I was passing through on my way home with 100+ miles to go. My vehicle was shaking. A few lug nuts came off and the bolts were snapped. On a Friday afternoon they towed me over, ordered the parts, checked all of the rest of the nuts and bolts, and repaired what was needed. They made SURE I could get home. Even though they were busy it wasn't even a QUESTION for them to help me. I will be forever grateful! Every person made sure I was taken care of, especially Julia! Thanks so much to everyone at L & M. If you are looking for good, hard-working people to take care of you and your vehicle, this is the place.

CONSUMER BEWARE, they WILL charge you if they come out and don’t think they can perform the task or attempt the task and fail. Call another comp, they are the only comp. around that has this policy. If I could leave no stars I would. They came to get my car out of a dangerous situation hanging over a creek bed and left it in a more dangerous position than when they arrived. Then had the audacity to charge me $150. I had multiple other tow companies come out and not want to touch the car and were shocked to find out that they actually charged us for leaving our car like that. Call Schaefers or Bevis they will get the job done or leave your bank account alone.

They screwed me even though I've brought all my business to them for years and have been extremely patient with them even when they would take two or three weeks to do a simple job like brakes or an alternator. And I always reccomend them to everybody I know. Not anymore. Be wary of front desk guy Jim. You'll know him by the way he can't even look you in the eye when he's screwing you. Dont use L and M for anything.

I brought my car into L&M because my transmission was jerking in 4th gear and it was squeaking. They called me back 2 days later and told me that I needed a clutch and clutch bearing. I agreed and when I went to pick up my car the bill stated used transmission. They told me it needed a transmission. They never discussed the fact that my car needed a transmission with me prior to putting a used transmission in my car. When I drove my car it grinded into 3rd and 4th gear and it never did that prior to me bringing it in. When I returned my car they had me go for a test drive with one of their mechanics. The mechanic was reving my car really high past 3000 rpm's which will damage a motor. I told him to pull over so I could drive. When I drove the car and put the car into 3rd and 4th gear there was a grinding noise. The mechanic at first said he didn't hear anything. So, I continued driving and he finally said that he heard the noise. He kept telling me it wasn't grinding, I told him that it never did that prior to me bringing it in. Then he slammed my car into third gear without me using the clutch while I was driving to say, "that's grinding"! I was very upset when he did that. I will not bring my car to L&M ever again. If you want to have parts put into your car without your permission and then have their mechanic abuse your car on a test drive, then go there. I will never go there again.

This is also for the office staff not the actual man who towed the truck (thanks Mike). My car wasn’t starting and I had them tow it there, they called me to ask what was wrong and first of all the dogs barking in the back was obnoxious! The next day hear nothing till I get another call once again asking what was actually wrong. After 3 days of not actually getting an update my dad takes me up there just to find out my car was starting and they never actually updated me. And the place is a pigsty with all the barking dogs and mud. And they left my front seat a muddy mess!

Broke down on my way to Cleveland. Had my truck repair and running better than before. The price was a bit high but the quality of work was worth it. Awesome repair shop would definitely recommend this place.

Many thanks to L & M towing and repairs for their great service last night. We got a flat tire on our rented RV and were struggling to find someone that could get us fixed and back on the road. L & M came out and instead of trying to sell us a new tire that we didn’t need he fixed our tire and had us back on the road in 2 hours!

My daughter, nephew and myself were on our way to Lakeside Marblehead when we caught a flat right before Baumhart rd. Scary being stuck on the side of the highway! I had a donut in my car but i wasn’t sure how to put it on. We called Triple A- even though they weren’t nice to us- when i called L&M towing for myself, they were extremely nice and Michael- who came and changed my tire, was a blessing! Nicest, most helpful person anyone could ever meet! He made my kids feel safe and he even helped me load my trunk back up. The world needs more people like Michael and L&M towing was absolutely wonderful! Thank you! Highly recommend!

I dropped off my classic car a little over a month ago. I wanted my carburetor adjusted , master break Cylinder put on., Bleed the brakes.. New robbery cap.. New spark plugs and wires. I provided all the parts.. During the time that my car was there. No one called me to inform me what was going on with my car. I had to call multiple times to try to find out the status of my car.. Finally, I had to drive down to vermilion to find out the status of my car and when it will be done. I told them that my will be picking up my car the following monday. When I arrived, the bill was for almost $2,000. The shop had put on a rebuilt carburetor with manual choke without calling me at all. At the end of the day, I paid $1,500 for all the work. Additionally, I requested that the transmission fluid be changed and the idler arm . I was not charged For those, because they were not done.

I dropped my car on a Monday morning and was told it would be examined the following morning. I didn't hear from them by the end of the day on Tuesday so I called and they told me they didn't have time to look at it. Wednesday was the exact same story. On Thursday I still hadn't heard from them by the end of the day so I called and they said they finally checked out my car but had no quote or anything definite. I told them I needed to use my car Friday morning so I picked up my car.I found out the hard way that they had not put any of the bolts back in the hood release and therefore the hood flew open while I was driving down the highway and it destroyed my windshield and caused me to swerve off the road. I called twice and asked to speak with the owner but my calls were never returned. I was without a vehicle for 3 days and then I had to purchase a new windshield because of this horrible shop.

We blew a tire on vacation 4th of July ,5 years ago! Few calls later cause we had no spare they came with rolloff hauled our van 22 miles hooked us up with two spars on rims like new tires showed us around invited us to a car show that following weekend ! They were great and 175 is all he charged us what a great guy would recommend anybody too l& m towing g and repair .they were awsome

We’re 2 girls in a Minibus, we are so happy with them. They fixed so fast our problem. We thought was the transmisión but finally we were lucky and was just the parking break box. They could find it in the same day! Also they were very kind to us and effective!! Thank you to all the team!!

We couldn't have asked for better, more polite, professional, and hard working team then at L&M Towing and Repair. We needed to move a truck and 5th wheel camper off of my uncles property that had be sitting abandoned for years. They said they could do it and in the time frame we needed.They delivered 10x over. Thank you all again for your hard work. In a moment in time of a family tragedy, you really delivered for us and we are forever grateful.

We were broke down on a highway in Ohio with a broken leafspring and shackles on our 5th wheel. We limped back to their repair shop and they had us repaired and on the road same day! Great service and fair prices. Thanks L&M! ?

They fixed my brake line, put in a new temperature gauge, and swapped out my slightly worn left rear tire to my full size spare. I also asked, if I were to bring in a new or rebuilt part (my transmission), if they would install it, and they said yes. The staff are friendly. There are also 2 small dogs that love to bark at strangers but are friendly. Reasonable prices.

The service was amazing. Very friendly, honest and they treat you like family! I would highly recommend this place to anyone in need of towing, repairs or anything else.

This review is only for the office staff. The driver and his assistant were great. And Dave was freaking INCREDIBLE!!! After I got him on the phone my problem was fixed immediately. He gave the guy the riot act and told him I was about to come and destroy the office it was hilarious!! He was very apologetic even though he didn't have anything to do with the issue. My problem was it took six days and six phone calls to get an email copy of the receipt to submit to my insurance. The driver that day so they had no way to print a paper receipt at that time and that one would be emailed to me. Two phone calls that day, two more phone calls two days apart, two phone calls today. Finally got an email, the first invoice said it was due in a week even though I had paid it that day. Can't submit that to the insurance company because it looks like it's not paid. Sent reply in an email and he sent me back one that says it's paid in full. It was just too much drama to get a flipping receipt.

ZERO stars if I could! Called to have arrangements made to have one of my vehicles towed up there because there was an issue with the front end and neither I or my boyfriend felt safe driving it up there. We wanted the front end looked at and an estimate for the repair costs. We received a call on June 8th (the day they picked it up) and we were told that so far the battery was bad (already knew that) and it needed an o2 sensor. The gentleman said he was about to take a look at the front end and would be calling back later in the day to let us know what was going on. Two days went by and no one called back So I went up there on my lunch break. When I got there, I was told the car was done and had been done since the day before. They replaced the battery and sensor without getting authorization from me or my boyfriend. When I asked what was wrong with the front end, I was told it needed breaks (which are fairly new, done 8-9 months ago) and wheel bearings. I was quoted $400 for that. They charged $341 for the battery and sensor! AND THEY NEVER HAD PERMISSION TO FIX ANYTHING ON THE CAR! We wanted an ESTIMATE. 3 phone calls and FOUR trips up there and not once did the business owner ever come out to speak to me or return my phone calls. After four trips back the garage, they decided to refund $70 of the $341 dollars they charged us. I will never bring another vehicle here EVER! Neither will anyone I know. I am completely disgusted the with service we received and treatment I was given afterwards. Never again!

Very fast, and had a good interaction with the driver. He was efficient, and we had good conversation while we got the car on the back of his flatbed. AAA covered the cost, and I’m happy with the overall experience even if my car is JACKED UP. Lol! Could be worse I suppose....

Called insurance company regarding a leak in my tire. I was visiting my son two hours away from home. Insurance company found L&M Towing for service to assist me and put the spare on for me, so I could take my tire onto be repaired in the morning. I stated that because it was cold, dark and raining, I would be waiting inside the apartment complex. I was assured that I would receive a phone call from the company 15 minutes before arrival so I could come outside. My son told me the towing company was only two miles away. I received a text saying they would be here about 10:03 pm. Even tho I received no text saying they were here, I checked outside a bit before and a bit after 10 pm. No one was here. I called my insurance company again about 10:30 pm stating that there was a no show. My ins rep called L&M and was told the following: "There was no answer when I called" **lie, I had my phone beside me entire time** "There was no answer when I knocked on the door" **lie, its an apartment complex, there is no one door to knock on, how do you know what apartment I'm in?** "I didn't see a flat tire on the car" **um...no, it's not flat yet, which is why I called. It has a big nail in it. It's not flat but you can HEAR THE LEAK** Obvious the driver did not show at all. Not happy with this company.
