Took some trash here today with a dump trailer and the guy running the loader was extremely rude to me. I don’t feel like taking anything back here.

The young ladies at the scale house are fantastic to work with. They are very polite and courteous to the customers. The lady who usually works at the dump area on top of the hill is great as well.

Lady at scales was very patient and kind to a 1st timer. Guys in the building were extremely helpful.

Yesterday, my great uncle experienced something no one should EVER have to experience. He is a stroke survivor and has a issues with his speech. Yesterday, while at the Transfer Station, he was having some problems at the scale house when the lady who was running the scale house, who I have found out name is Angela, started to yell and scream at him, upsetting and confusing him. From my understanding she called down two men to "help" her, because she was unable to "handle" the situation. In my opinion. She should not be in that situation to start with. Anyone who yells and screams at customer's needs to be let go. I assure you Walmart, Kroger, or Aldi would not tolerate their customers being disrespectful let alone those with disabilities. My uncle was so upset. I WILL be making a complaint with the transfer station about Ms. Angela, as I do not believe she should be working in a position where she is contact with the public.

I would like to know more about what you accept from the public to be recycled. It would help if you listed what you still accept, for those of us who like to recycle as much as possible.

Rude lady at the dumpster. She complained about other people the whole time I was unloading from my truck, yelled at the guy beside me for backing into the wrong parking spot when she didn't direct him to park at a certain spot. While I was unloading my items I picked up nails and screws from the ground from someone before me. I left the spot better than it was when I got there but she still felt the need to call the office to tell them I didn't clean up my mess when I didn't leave anything of mine behind. IF YOU HATE YOUR JOB DONT TAKE OT OUT ON OTHER PEOPLE!!

I love reading that those at the station are turning away those who are showing up 10, 5, or 2 mins before closing! GOOD FOR YOU! For that you get 5 stars! And I am being serious! These entitled, "I think we are always right" customers need to learn that they are indeed not always right! They need to learn to be considerate of others time, and understand that it's their responsibility to manage their time. They are fully aware that the station closes at 6 and quite frankly it was very disrespectful for them to show up so close to closing time. Shame on them! Also, to those complaining about having to clean up after themself, boo hoo. There are signs that explains this. It's no one elses job to clean up your mess, but your own! It's your trash, your mess. Do it! Or pay for it. I swear there should be a site to rate customers! Entitled brats.

Was here at 552. Was denied and told I would be locked in if not out by 6. Waste of fuel and my time.

Open until 6pm.. was on the scale at 5:54 and was denied after driving all the way over here. When I informed them that I would be filing a complaint, they didn’t care either. Waste of gas, time and equipment to have to go back home and come back again..

Cashier Tina was very helpful as where to tell us where to put our stuff and as always everything is always kept very organized!

Outside bins are not user friendly. Then you have the trash police stand there watch and question you throw away your trash.

I go here a few times a month. They are always nice and helpful. Never had any issues. Today they were very busy but i was in and out in 10 minutes!

Cleanest facility with extremely helpful and explanatory employees and the least expensive place I have found to dump garbage. Thank you

The women at the front that weighs your truck are delightful they should be someplace like a fancy restaurant or in an office building I love them

Have used the incinerator before and not had any problems. Was there on Saturday to drop brush off. Sign says open until 2:30. Got there at 2:20 and gate was closed. Customer behind me went in the exit gate so I followed. The employees said no customers after 2:15. And wouldn't let us unload. In the time they wasted arguing with the other customer we could have unloaded and been out of there. If you don't want people there after 2:15, Post it! I wouldn't have busted my butt loading the trailer just to be turned away. My advice is to use the City of Troy place on Dye Mill Rd. Much friendlier and it's free.

Great, as always. Great place to dump yard trimmings, branches ect. As well as recycbels, garbage, and any other thing that may be paying in your yard, garage or basement. Now I dont take metals there, I take those to the metal salvage yard, this place does not have those services here. But it is a great company at what they do. Highly recommend.

Doug Evans is the best transfer station employee there..well, next to those nice ladies in the scale booth.

This place has very good hours, the staff is fast, efficient, a good help, and a pleasure to talk to. The rates, especially the minimums are very reasonable relative to other counties

I wish I could give this place 0 starts. My brother in law was there today and they were moving a dead horse around with a dozer. We have pictures for proof. Do not go here.

Rude workers, more hoops to jump through every time I visit. They don’t want to have to do anything, and when they do they get an attitude. Pretty soon they’ll have us driving the trucks and cleaning up the place. Worthless!

Convenient, fairly priced dump. Friendly workers. Only complaint is there toxic/universal waste disposal process. The only time to dispose of this waste is between 9am and 1pm on a weekday. They also charge $1 per lb., which adds up quick if you're cleaning out a garage or barn. This is ridiculous! It's almost as if they are encouraging improper disposal of these wastes. Montgomery county offers free disposal of these wastes to residents on Saturday. I dont understand these restrictions at this location. It's the same company.

I'm very thankful for the extended hours this facility is open on Saturdays. I commute Monday-Friday making it impossible to do a drop off throughout the week. Because they are open later than noon on Saturdays it's a really nice option. I don't have to rush to get up early to take recycling. The staff who manages the household recycling drop off is very friendly and helpful. My only dislike is that if you get several cars there at one time there is no traffic flow or lane arrangement. I've been boxed in by cars doing a huge drop off, where I usually have a very small drop off in comparison.

Outside dumpsters are NOT feasible for all loads. Some things are too heavy to lift over the guard rail. 99.9% of the time, no one will ever assist you. Montgomery county transfer station is almost half the price and much easier to dump straight onto the floor.

The county should be proud of Tom who supervises the recycling drop off. Always courteous, helpful and has a wonderful way of managing his patrons. Give him a raise, he deserves it.
