They scratched the entire back end of my car, my tail lights and my passenger side front and back tire rims up. I had the car for less than a week and know for a fact there was not a mark on the car when they started the towing process. It appears they could have used the chain towing method based on the marks along the entire length of my trunk. If you want to drive around in a scratched up car, use this towing company.

Between them or the police department stole a bunch of things out of my car. I’m not sure if they think I’d notice but considering they practically cleaned it out is crazy ! Inventory on your vehicle shouldn’t be allowed if you’re not present ! I’ll be opening a police report against Rich’s Towing

The whole staff were out of office tending to an emergency in the metro parks. Waited in the parking lot 5-6 hours until night shift worker pulled in. He went many extra miles to figure out how to release our car back to us, even tho it was out of his scope of practice.

This review is for the Oakwood Branch. Even though they damaged my stabilizers, this operation is quite impressive! Background: My trailer broke down on the Ohio Turnpike and Rich's has the contract for all turnpike towing in this section. So my travel trailer insurance company, Coach Net, contacted them. Two guys showed up in two trucks and they worked for an hour getting the trailer and car loaded onto a landoll. In the process they scraped the bottom and a stabilizer was bent. (It happens.) I was concerned about more damage but the two drivers insisted only one stabilizer was bent. Both guys (Jim & Blane) were professional and obviously experienced; they knew what they were doing (especially Blane). They took pictures of the damage they'd done and apologized & said they were sure Rich's would cover the cost of damage they'd caused. They towed us to a Walmart to spend the night, since that's what our insurer had arranged, and they returned the next day at 3 (an hour late due to storm). This time Alvin was the driver. He, too, was quite knowledgeable - a real pro: professional & had tons of equipment and tools for handling whatever might come up. He worked methodically and with precision. He, too, apologized for damage that had occurred the night before. We followed him and after unloading the trailer at the repair shop (JTI), providing dinner recommendations, and scouting the lot to assure we were safe, he left us. Now, here's what's most impressive! The next morning shortly after 8 a.m. another Rich's truck showed up, driven by Denise. She'd come to look at the stabilizer damage and arrange for that to be paid for by Rich's. She asked about what had happened and determined that not one but two stabilizers were bent. She worked with JTIs customer service to assure Rich's was billed for new stabilizers. Imagine that! A company not only proactively agreeing to cover damage they'd done (without needing to be coerced into that) but actually finding and arranging to pay for additional damage we weren't yet aware of. And like Blane and Alvin, Denise was quite professional, courteous, and clearly knew her stuff. But wait. It gets even better. When Rich's learned it would take an extra day to get the parts in for the stabilizer repair, the branch manager, Jay, stepped in to assure our comfort. So that we could explore Cleveland, he personally got our trailer when JTI was finished for the day and tired it to his branch location which has 24 hour security. He connected us to water and electricity and even turned a light on for us. He assured the night manager knew we'd be coming and would provide us access to whatever we needed plus coffee in the morning. But that's still not all! He even had his guys wash our trailer (we'd been on the road for 6 weeks so it was filthy.) THAT's customer service! Thanks, Jay and Rich's.

My truck broke down on I80 West bound. They were the closest service, so I called them. The lady calculated the price and she gave me a quote for 675$ for the tow truck. Then someone from the background asked about the height of the first position vehicle, cause it's a car hauler and I was transferred to Nicki - the boss I assume. At first I told him that the height is 13.6", he said when they raise the truck up it will be 14:00", so they can't do that they have to send a service truck to take the front tires out and then put it back on when they arrive, so basically they needed both the tow truck and the service truck to be sent out and of course the price would be double. After checking with my driver I told them that the height is actually 13:4" and he said that still they are not allowed to do that, cause now it would make it 13:8 if they raise it. Having no other choice I agreed to pay for the both trucks to be sent out. Then my driver called me and said that they didn’t remove the front tires and they have removed only the driveshaft and refusing to put it back on cause they are not allowed. This is the first time in my experience I hear that, cause many tow truck drivers had always put it back on. So I called back to the towing company and I asked the lady for the refund because they haven’t removed the front tires. She put me on hold and then confirmed that they are going to refund only the part of the payment. So, basically they charged me more than twice, sent two trucks out there, removed the driveshaft and refused to put it back on - this is the first time I hear that (they say someone from the service should put it back on, because they are not qualified for that - correct me anyone - isn't this ridiculous ?) and agreed to refund only a portion of the payment because I didn’t want them to send a truck out there to see if it's possible or not. So, please follow me - I am giving them the following information - it's a Western Star, Car Hauler, the height of the first position vehicle is 13"4 - what else does a regular towing company need to know in order to make a decision they have to move the front tires or not? I could also answer all of those stupid questions like what's the vin number of the vehicle or what color is it, or year make model etc, but they never asked that. P.S. Nicki - the boss - **** *** - as I said during our conversation. P.S. Anyway they are still refunding me something. Thank you for that. P.S. They said they will be there within an hour but they came sooner than that. And they took my truck to it's destination safely. Whatever was good I can’t deny it. P.S. Nicki, again, ****. ***
