This shop is amazing. They were very nice and very quick. Communication was very clear and price was reasonable. If anything ever happens again with my car, I'm only going here from now on.
I have never felt overcharged here. My sister recommended this place and they dont pull surprises out of nowhere to charge you extra. Usually by appointment, but they do right by their customers here.

I call on February 22, 2024 to their shop. I ask the girl answering the phone about my 4 wheel, AWD problem and she told me that they don't work on 4 x 4 and I should take it to 4 wheel drive shop.
I asked her why they advertise 4 x 4 service and AWD service if they don't service that. She said "we work on it but we just don't work on that portion of it". Not sure what she ment. They have the whole article talking about their 4 x 4 certified mechanic and explains what kind of service they provide on 4 x 4. I guess it is
just misleading advertisement.
Brought our Ranger in for a tune up.. wires, plugs, etc. The truck's performance greatly improved! They seem to have a friendly, and straight forward staff. No marketing add-ons Will use Sylvester's again. Their price for the tune-up was reasonable and fair. We have a happy truck!
Very pleased with our recent service! As a BW parent with a new first year student on campus having a car problem, it would seem that there would be headaches on the horizon. However, as soon as I call Sylvester's and explained our situation, they could not bave been more understanding and accommodating. Once we got the vehicle to them, they were communicative, solutions-focused, timely and well-priced. I was pleased to have recieved Sylvester's as a recommendation for a local garage, and glad to know they're there for us should we need them again. Thank you!

I've been going to Sylvester's since 2007 and have never had anything but honest, detailed, thorough work done there. I appreciate that I have a place I can take my car that will get the work it needs done and not more, at least not without my approval. Couldn't recommend more.
Had to get the entire shifter in my car replaced on short notice during a road trip, these people were amazing! Did such a quick and stress free repair efficiently and didn’t over charge. Very kind and honest business will use them again next time I’m in the area.
I took my 2012 Ford Fusion because the car was riding low. They diagnosed it with a broken spring and had it back to me within a day. I was so impressed that they took the time to look over some other things that I hadn't asked for and they suggested that I consider getting new brakes and tires. They didn't try to sell them to me on the spot!! They actually told me I could get through the summer safely. I have been to many car repair shops with this vehicle and others and I have never, ever had such great customer service. Prices were very reasonable, by the way! Hope not to see them soon, but I will return when I need further repair.
Had issues with tire pressure on Dodge Ram 1500. Sensors replaced, cleaned up rims to seal. Had one issue with the one front tire, they fixed it up no problem, no charge for bringing it back. Will definitely go back for future work on my truck. Excellent customer service and workmanship…highly recommend!!!!
My daughter brought her car in for a long needed inspection. We interacted with Chris who was very professional and honest. They uncovered that the rear brake bolt had broke, and saved her from a potentially bad accident! The price was very fair, and the mechanic didn't attempt to sell us any updates that we didn't need. I highly recommend Sylvesters based on their quality and friendly interaction.

100% recommend. I had taken my car my Ford dealer for them to look it over and they tried to tell me that parts of my car needed to be replaced or else if I drove over a pot hole and it broke the back of my car wouldn't be supported and that it would cost $400 to replace it. I took it to Sylvesters to get a quote on the same procedure and they informed me that the part was working perfectly! I can't believe that the dealer was trying to scam me but I'm glad that I took it to Sylvesters before paying that $400. My family has been going to them for over my entire life and I will continue to do the same
I needed some work done urgently. They ordered the part right away and scheduled me the day after it was received. It was found I needed another part during the repair and though it was not available new anywhere that day (the bumper and grill were removed for the initial repair and needed to be off for the additional part as well), he called around and found a used part so that the work could be completed the same day. This saved me a lot of money in labor as they would have needed to take the bumper and grill off the car again. Chris was very friendly and knowlegeable and explained things in a way that I was able to understand. I will be very comfortable going back for future needs.
Would highly recommend! Chris was awesome and very helpful! I had an issues with my transmission light coming on. He took a look at it and got back to me and said that he would suggest going to a transmission shop. Unfortunately, my father passed away that very same day and he offered to take my car to the nearest transmission shop since I had my hands full with things. It was honestly the nicest thing a business has ever done for me. I will definitely go back! Thank you Chris!
I called Sylvester's for replacement/repair of all 4 brakes, pads etc..after I got an estimate costing several hundred dollars more than that from a National auto service center. Sylvester's installed new brakes etc. Within a quick time frame and were very professional. I believe in keeping work local anyway .. Sylvester's is wonderful!!!!!
The staff here are very very friendly and are extremely knowledgeable in automotive repair. They're quick to get back to you on the phone and are able to take last-minute calls as well. If something doesn't work out they'll do their best to fit you into their schedule or give you advice on what you need to do. During store hours they also have an air pump that you can use for free
My entertainment center (with clock, bluetooth, etc.) went out a few weeks ago and I tried everything to fix it without having to get an expensive replacement. The only thing I couldn't do was unplug the battery because it was set too far back for me to reach it safely, and a couple other places I called said that they'd check it out but I would need to pay them $100+ to look at it and that I would most likely need to order a new center. I called Sylvester's and explained that I was pretty sure it just needed unplugged and plugged back in again, and they said they could absolutely help with that, free of charge. I was in and out in 20 minutes and it's working perfectly! It was such an easy fix and I was deeply appreciative that they didn't try to pull the wool over my eyes and charge me needlessly. Thank you!
The best auto shop I have ever come by. Honest, fast, reliable work, and they even give BW students with their ID a discount! You will have no desire to try out other auto shops after you have been taken care of by Sylvester’s. Also some of the friendliest people I have meant.
Dear new potential customer, I have used Sylvester's Auto for my repair shop over many years. I highly recommend this business. These mechanics are excellent, very responsive to my requests. I am completely confident in their mechanical work. This is an excellent choice for any driver who wants to take good care of their vehicle and lives anywhere near Berea, Ohio.
