Dropped off some used oil which I’m glad they take. Shawn found a tool bit I’d accidentally dropped into the container, cleaned it up and returned it to me. A less honest person could have easily pocketed it. Great crew and always great service from this store.

My headlight was out after work and I stopped by 3 other places prior. Autozone saved me from driving 40 minutes with one headlight in the scary dark! They didn’t have to put it in, but they did! Super nice employees! Thanks!!!

This location is great. Everyone I've encountered that works here has been super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They really do go above and beyond. Extra credit to Christian and his co-workers (one of which whose recommendations sounds up saving me some money!!) that day who tolerated my tediousness in testing and replacing my battery. I will be a returning customer and would recommend paying them a visit for your automotive needs.

Ok store but would recommend not buying a battery here that is Duralast brand. The batteries either do not last their warranty period or barely past it. I’ve bought two batteries, one was able to be replaced under the warranty. The other was dead 9 days after warranty. Shop here for other needs but buyer beware with their Duralast batteries.

I went into the AutoZone to find a specific tool. There was no such tool available as far as for sale. That being said the Store Manager John G. offered to look for that tool from the Stores personal tool. He helped me take the screws out of a laptop to then find out, there was more tools we didn't have. He then put the laptop back together for me. This Gentleman was beyond helpful and very satisfied on the customer service I received. I would recommend this store to my friends and family. Thank you.

My husband and I are older, I'm disabled and William T at this location is a blessing, he went above and beyond to help my husband put in a new battery, it wasn't a simple job either. He is a team member worth keeping. We enjoy this location even more now.

ATTENTION CONSUMERS - Those who are in need of a battery replacement, save your money and go to Wal-mart for almost $100 cheaper. They offer free installation and it’s done inside an actual garage by qualified personnel. There are 2-3 company’s in the US that manufacture car battery’s and most all come from the same supplier, they just slap a different label on it. If you are in a bind (most don’t know), AutoZone will price match Walmart’s battery prices (you’re welcome), but I always recommend going to an actual garage so that these poor workers don’t have to stand out in freezing cold weather putting in your battery. They don’t get any money for doing it and Autozone doesn’t pay them enough for all that. Oh and for the love of God, if they do, at least tip them. It’s freaking cold out there and they deserve it. Times are hard, and you can always find it cheaper online with the same warranty, even if you have to wait a couple days to get it. Not to mention, Autozone’s aftermarket parts are complete junk. I can’t tell you how many times they have failed me. This place is a billion dollar company that just takes advantage of people including their workers. I’ve spent a LOT of money at this place over the years, but from now on, I will never give another penny to this company. Rant over. Please contact me, I’d love to discuss the ignorance of your new store manager. Wouldn’t Autozone rather get the sale, than have their consumers go elsewhere. That’s what I’ve always been told. What a joke.

I shop at a lot of Autozones in the area, as well as, O'reilly's, and this store is my favorite, so far. Mainly because of friendly customer service and overall helpfulness. Customer service expert, Dylan K stands out for his excellent customer care. I'm just a novice home mechanic, fixing my own cars for lack of money, Dylan's wise advice on what to buy is always appreciated. Plus, he always makes sure to match the lowest price in the area and takes his time finding them online for me, so Idon'thave to drive all over town. I appreciate his patience, friendliness, consideration and wisdom. Thanks, Dylan!

I Live in Georgia and was visiting my sister. A code came up on my dashboard and I stopped by AutoZone so they could read it. John was so helpful and so kind. He told me what I needed to do, and not only that when I came back two days later, he was able to get the code off my dash.. Thank you, John. I greatly appreciate you and your help!

I had to get a new car battery. Staff were very friendly and installed the battery in 20 degree weather. This was after family warned me my car had a weird battery setup and a store might not install it for me because of the extra effort.

Dan is an amazing parts guy. A rare gem now a days. He knows and practices parts and outstanding customer service. The Stow/Kent area are lucky to have him in our neighborhood.

One of our work vehicles needed a new battery, and it is partially obscured behind the firewall. Dan Jordan went out of his way to get a new battery swapped in on a Monday morning where they were absolutely swamped. Highly recommend

My car would not start due to a dead battery. I had the vehicle jump started and drove to Autozone in stow for a replacement. The entire auto zone staff was incredibly helpful with assisting me with finding the right battery, and getting it installed properly. Workers Alyssa, Jeff and John worked diligently to get a terminal off after it was bound with battery acid. They took careful time, effort, and dedication to providing customer service and getting me back on the road. They treated me like a close friend, and provided amazing customer care. I would highly recommend this store due to the professional, friendly, and caring staff. Thanks for all the help!

Had the best experience at this specific location. I went to another AutoZone the day before and was turned away so fast, I felt like they just didn’t want to do their job. BUT Alyssa at the AutoZone in Stow was so unbelievably helpful! I went in needing brakes, right away she found what I needed, suggested the best option and did it all with a smile on her face! Needless to say, this will be my go to location going forward because of her positive energy, knowledge and excellent customer service.

Skilled team, update : I am regular customer here and brand new coil pack failed which I got for jetta and they just refused to refund, why would use replacement again , just to be stranded in middle of freeway ! He was referring to you can’t just return something after using three years , I barely drove 20 , because misfire never went away and I was using my other car, I can’t just sit and check again on brand new coils expecting them to fail. Update: Other day a senior staff told me that he was new there and was learning and I returned those coils back to other store in Kent where they accepted without any issues. Very patient staff and happy to help all time.

Very helpful guys. My car battery had died in another town, jump started and was running on the alternator to get me home. The young man quickly brought equipment to my car for diagnostics. He was very knowledgeable and offered good advice.

Thirty degrees out and the guy removed and charged my battery, that didn't work he replaced my battery (glad I got the warranty) that didn't work and he replaced the cable ends. Unparalleled service for free. After I get my car back from the shop to replace the starter I'm driving over and giving that guy another fat tip.

Disappointed, and not disappointed. I was looking for proper wheel bearings, that I was having problems locating, for my Jeep. I had called this store to see if they had the bearings I was looking for in stock. The girl that picked up the phone was rude from the word "Hello". I tried to explain that I needed two wheel bearings but, with a lot of attitude, she kept saying that they only come in a pack of one. I understand that, I told her, and again told her I needed two. She said, "Well, there's only one so....". I told her to forget it and hung up, swearing off dealing with this store, at least for this repair. 3 days later, not being successful in finding the parts, I decided to just stop in and try again. I walked into the store, heard a voice say (with zero enthusiasm), "Can I help you?". Not seeing anybody at the counter, I asked if the voice was talking to me (didn't know if they were on the phone or something). She said (again with attitude), "You're the only one here so yeah, I guess". I finally noticed her sitting behind the computer monitor, looking very uninterested in literally anything. So, I told her I was looking for wheel bearings. She just sat there and didn't say anything for a few seconds. Finally, with attitude, she said, "For what?". I told her, she looked and said she had one. I again told her I need two. She rolled her eyes and sighed. At this moment, having struggled to find the parts I need for 3 days now, I was about to give her a little unfriendly advice. Then, one of the other employees came out, smiled at me with enthusiasm, and basically did the foot work from there on. She confirmed the part they had (without me asking), found the other part at a nearby store and EVEN CALLED them to confirm they had the part. This employee needs a raise and a lot of praise. It's not the first time she had greeted me with a friendly smile and went beyond to find me what I needed. I will be conveying my appreciation to her the next time I see her. To sum up, it was total Yin and Yang. The rude employee was probably in my top 5 of rude customer service reps I've ever had in 50 years. And, it wasn't a one off. Not only was she the girl that was rude to me on the phone, I have heard many others complain about her to. Someone needs an attitude adjustment. This store, and Autozone as a whole, needs to thank the other girl in that store for keeping customers that are put off by the other rude girl. Completely unnecessary.

If I could give this store 10 stars I would. I've never had better customer service from any place of business in my entire life. I was towed there after my car battery gave out on me and they installed a new battery AND a new alternator staying after hours to make sure I was able to get home. Every single worker there had an excellent attitude and were extremely charismatic when helping me. If anyone deserves more pay for their work its these workers.

Today I went to the Stow, OH AutoZone needing something really simple, license plate screws because I couldn't remove the nylon screws. Kevin came right out and helped me. I couldn't believe how he calmly tried 3 options and found the one that worked. He could have just said buy these, I think they are what you need. But Kevin wanted to make sure I was satisfied before I purchased the screws. This is what I call old fashioned customer service. You don't find this just anywhere but you can find it at AutoZone.

On October 15, 2023 at 1:45pm I came in the store. I got headlights, windshield wipers, a wheel cover and an air filter. The girl with the long brown hair and beanie did not seem like she wanted to help me. She was very nice with the people before me. She called me up and I had her double check if I got the right headlights. She seemed irritated all ready. Then I needed help finding windshield wipers and she told me what numbers I needed (I am not car savy obviously) and she went to get my filter. Then I asked if she could she show me what she meant she got a huge attitude. As I write this she said walked out of the store and hopped in a car and left with the young man she was working with laughing and having a great time. I would have expected this if I was rude but I waited patiently for help and was never once mean in anyway. Usually when you go to this Autozone you always get good service, unfortunately it was an anomaly today.
