Terrible experience. Needed to get mower going, they got it running and charged me $632.77 without ever calling first to say all what was needed or to give an estimate. Also, they changed the two small front tires, charged us $250 just for that when we had told them more than once we just wanted tubes put in. When he dropped it off he said that wouldn't do any good, but he never called to tell us that or that it'd be $250 for two small tires I could've gotten on ebay for a tenth of that cost. PLUS, when talking he leaned up against my restored classic car like it belonged to him. Will NEVER go back to this place again.
Today 5-7-27 I called in to try to find a belt for an old Scag mower. Everywhere else I called didn’t have it and really wasn’t even willing to look for it. When I called this place, I talked to the parts guy. He definitely went above and beyond to find what I needed. I bet he called me back 12 times until we got it figured out that doesn’t happen anywhere.. He was definitely very straightforward and blunt lol But he didn’t stop until he found the part. I would definitely recommend
The poorest customer service I have ever experienced. Left me waiting at the bank for an hr to get year, make and model. They make up excuses for everything.
Very poor service. They have dogs that come on to you barking and growling acting like they are gonna eat you up as if you are an intruder then they are too lazy to call the dogs back or get up and come get the damn dogs so as you can even come into the store! If your dogs behave like that then leave them home dont have them in your place of business behaving like a$$ wipes to your customers. Had our lawn mower for a month to replace transmission. Promised it would be done by a certain date and when we showed up still wasnt done. First they said part never came then after digging around they found it. So they put it on in about an hour. Meanwhile their dogs jumped all over our truck outside trying to get to our dog and scratched the paint off of the door while we was there waiting. They knew it and never did a thing to stop it. Very sorry @$$ place to deal with. Couldnt imagine the down time on farm implements whenever they cant fix a small lawn mower in under a months time.
Hit or miss here. Sometimes I go in and get good service or advice, sometimes they act like I'm an inconvenience by stopping in to buy something, and sometimes I'm totally ignored. Today I stopped in, waited at the counter for 15 min while their dog barked at me and they sat in the next room chatting away. Finally just walked out and drove back home. Love/Hate relationship with this place. I do heart gravely stuff tho.
Customer service does not exist at this place. I would not recommend them. It took them 4 weeks to have a tractor delivered that we purchased. They have had our lawn tractor for 3 months and had not touched it as of yesterday.
Rude, won't answer phone, or will just set it down. Even ignore you when you are in the store. Will never be back. Had tractor 12 weeks for service. Only changed oil. Went to pick it up to finish the job myself so I could get my tractor back. Sold me wrong filters and hydro fluid then refused to take it back after I got home and realized they sold me the wrong parts. Go to Ashley Tractor in Parkersburg great guy helped me get the right stuff I needed. Worth the drive.
Very poor customer service will leave you standing around for a while until you hunt them down and tell them you need help and if you call they'll set the phone down and forget all about you. speaking from experience but they do have good equipment. New and used mahandra and gravely mowers tractors trailers.
Okay" lots and lots of inventory and also good supply of parts or can get quick a little slow on getting took care of sometimes so don't be in a rush when ya go there n prices fairly good also easy to spot and park ~
I went there looking for a mower deck for my old red and black international cub cadet 682. I actually found one there about 5 or 6 yrs ago in there old mower junkyard. They said they would take $250 for it but would have to dig it out. I said that was fine. I called a couple times and out and gotten around to it. I don’t use that old cub as my actual lawn tractor anymore. It’s just an old cool tractor that’s kind of unusual. So I went back this season to see if they might still have it. I found it! It had five more years of rust on here from sitting out back but it was better than the one on mine. Went in and ask about it and price went to $500. I guess I’m old-school. A deals a deal. I know they don’t need the money. On the plus side I had a great time checking out all the old mowers and stuff down there. It’s a cool place to walk around. They do sell all the good stuff from John Deere, gravely, and just about everything in between. I love the place but was disappointed.
My mower's been done for days. Every day I call and they say they'll drop it off today. It never comes. That said, they're MUCH faster than All Power. ...But I'm not sure how meaningful that is. Sure, Wakefield finished my lawn tractor ten days before All Power could even begin work on it, but I wonder when I'll see my mower again. ...And they've lied to me on the phone repeatedly.
Customer service isn't much better when you're there in person. Last time I was there, I couldn't find any employees. ...Walked around the place like I owned it and nobody said anything. Want a good deal on a riding mower? Just head to Wakefield. Hop in one, turn the key, drive off. I doubt anybody would notice. (Your karma may vary.)
I'm dissatisfied with both Wakefield and All Power service departments, for different reasons. I'll be using somebody else next time.
