Fast and friendly service. They corrected the alignment issue that I had with my vehicle and explained what they had found with the front end of my vehicle.

Selected my tires and made reservation online a week before appointment, received a confirmation text confirming date and time. When I turned up for appointment they can’t find a reservation on the system and the tire I ordered are not in stock. Seems online booking via their website not to be trusted, wasted trip for me.

I bought my tires for my Super Duty as this place was changing ownership. Took my truck back to them last month for a rotation and balance. They did not adjust the air pressure in the tires when they rotated them. Fix the issue myself that day. Now after about a month all my center caps on my wheels are making noise and falling off. They never tightened them after they removed them to put on the balancing machine. Had to purchase hardware to repair the wheel caps that had lost their hardware. Lack of attention to the details is the issue. I will never go back.

I have been attempting to call to get a quote on some tires. Apparently this place is now closed after 4:30pm when their site posts that they close at 6:pm. This is the third time I have attempted to call and got a phone message saying I have called after their business hours. Guess after buying many sets of tires over the last 20 years here I'm going to take my business elsewhere.

Anyone looking locally for an auto repair shop needs to avoid the former “Huddle Tire”. As a customer at the Richland location for 7+ years, I was cautious when Tire Discounters bought out the location a few years ago. I gave it a chance, yet also wasn’t in for more than one set of tires and a flat repair over the past year. Last week, I was in for what I hoped was an easy flat repair. The previous manager who took over at the transition was no longer there. I mentioned to the new manager that I was in need of front brake pads, and I asked her if the tech who looked at my tire could also take a quick look at my brakes to confirm if the rear needed pads as well. 20 minutes later, I was told that A) the flat was not repairable, because it was too close to the sidewall, and they were suggesting 4 new tires (since I own an AWD Subaru), and B) I needed an all around brake job including rotors - front and back. I asked about the flat first, and when the tech brought out the tire with the damaged area marked, it looked to be repairable to my knowledge. I was quoted $633.80 for 4 of their cheapest tires installed, and $1,574.41 for front & rear rotors & brakes. I knew the quote for the brake job alone was exaggerated, and I was fairly certain the tire was repairable, so I had them put my spare on and I left frustrated. 1) I stopped at Autozone for a quote on front and back brake pads and rotors. Their parts out the door: under $500. Huddle Tire Discounters cost for parts alone within my quote: $1,027.99!! 2) I then drove to Walmart automotive to see if they’d be able to patch the damaged tire, which Huddle had said was not repairable. Walmart tech said yep, and had me back on the road for $15 plus tax! 3) Made an appointment in Nelsonville at Rick’s for the brake job. No surprise, I only needed front and back pads…rotors were FINE. Total cost, less than half the price of Huddle’s quote. I no longer trust the techs or manager at this location, and they have permanently lost my business. Their company encourages inflated sales, rather than taking the best care of their customers for a fair price. Avoid like the plague. Also note: 7 of the most recent 10 Google reviews for this location are 1 star, and have all been posted in the last 3 months!

I had a 9:30 AM appointment to have my tire looked at. After close to an hour and a half, my vehicle still hadn’t even been pulled out of the parking space. When I asked the woman at the desk if there was an ETA, she replied, “they could pull it in and look at it real quick.” I honestly don’t understand the point of making an appointment if this is how it’s handled. I completely understand that things can run behind, but there was no communication or updates the entire time. I wasn’t a walk-in — I scheduled ahead and expected at least to be kept in the loop. It was just disappointing. I wish I had the same positive experiences as others.

I had a 2 O'clock appointment for 1 tire to be changed. I wanted to leave at 345 because they still had not takin my car to be done. And the secretary was no where to be found so I could leave. Finally a mechanic came out and went and got my key for me. Poor service on the secretaries be half.

Horrible customer service, shotty work. They've got the TV turned up so loud you can barely talk over it. I stood there for 10 mins unacknowledged with an appointment. Sucks now that's it's a tire discounters and not Huddle. Don't recommend

Had a flat on my way to North Carolina, Aaa roadside service brought me here, and as busy as they were, they were able to squeeze me in and get me back on road in no time. Obviously a great tire company, and great people working here,. Highly recommend a place like this to do business with.

I went in for tires, which included 4 new tires and an alignment, I called in about 4 hours later, and said it was almost done maybe another hour. 2 hours later I decided to go down there and check and my car was just coming out of the bay, 6 hours for 4 tires and an alignment is about 3x the amount of time I’ve ever seen at a tire place for this exact service. 4 tires also came with a free oil change up to 5 qts. When I asked them if I could only receive 5 qts. Since my car requires 5.5 qts. And I already have the .5 qts. Needed I was told they can’t do this and I won’t know a price of .5 qt until it’s time to pay. Overall I would look anywhere but this location and the Logan location, Athens is slow and deceptive, while Logan is filled with techs that don’t know what they’re doing and will somehow make your alignment worse.

I would like to take a moment to thank Amanda and her staff. Life got away from me a bit and my car was suffering - I had a to do list - I stopped in the store, initially focusing on tires. Come to find out all the ways that were available to make things affordable and time saving. I was floored. Tires were ordered and an “appointment” was set. As I waited for my car to be serviced, many things were found needed to better help the car run better. Good things take time and patience. Everybody waited their turn. The staff rotated through jobs efficiently and amazingly. I would recommend, after consultation, if you are having multiple stuff done, use the key drop box for service - car pool and multitask- leave your car - do your thing - let them communicate with you through the service. For, me not knowing how things worked it was a long day - but worth the wait. Car is happier, budget planned, great service. I will be back and referring many. Thank you

Would not recommend. 10+ years I’ve been faithful to this Huddle Tire location and really thankful for how they treated folks in Athens. The new management and pricing at Tire Discounters is very disappointing, not empathetic and deceptive on pricing. Will not be back.

Made an appointment for 10:30am to get ONLY an oil change on my car. After 3 hours of waiting for it to be done, I called and checked up on how it was going. they said it was almost done. It’s now going on hour 4 (2:41pm) of me waiting for my oil change to be done. I just called again and no one answered. Said I couldn’t speak to an operator right now. I think it’s ridiculous to have to wait 4 hours for a damn oil change. I better not have to pay extra too while i’ve been stranded without a car. Jiffy Lube or Valvoline would have had me out in 15 minutes max. Very disappointed with this service.

Calling multiple tire shops as I was on the side of the road for 4 hours, Tire Discounters were the only one willing to come out and help me and I really appreciate it. They were quick to get to me and ready and able to do the job right. Awsome job you guys.

The only reason I gave 2 stars is because I was a walk in and they got me in and out pretty quickly. I went in to get my front driver side tire changed (which they did). Then as I was checking out they claimed that my front passenger tire "had too much air but "we let it out and got it right for you."" Got to work this morning and a co worker pointed out that I had a flat. Wouldn't you know it was the one that supposedly "had too much air"

UPDATED REVIEW: They sold out a few years ago and the service was never the same. We went ahead and followed the previous lead mechanic over to his own garage in Nelsonville and have been happy ever since. We will always choose small business over corporations whenever possible. These guys have always been great with our vehicles the past 6 years we have used them. Definitely our go-to shop. They will continue to get our business for as long as we are in the area.

I’m genuinely so impressed with this place. I needed a flat tire replaced and I end up adding an oil change while I was there. Total was lower than I was expecting and I was out of there with my car in less than 2 hours!

I dropped by the shop as the low tire pressure light was on- despite the tire having plenty of air. Phillip replaced the sensor and I was on my way! Great service with a smile. Thanks!

One of the worst experiences of my life having my tires changed. Not only did they try to swindle me saying my studs were and lug nuts were bad. (My studs had some dirt in the threads that could have been wire brushed) They took 4 hours to change the tires. Also on top of that the next day I drove my truck and my back rear brake locked up from being over tightened and almost caused me to be in an accident. These so call mechanics they have working at huddle tires are a bunch of jokes as well at the sales manager. DO NOT SHOP AT HUDDLE TIRE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE BENT OVER!!! They have lost my business and my respect. (Edit: I took the privilege of investigating it my self and the mechanic left one of my old wheel studs in my brake drum, As I said do no go here unless you want screwed over.)

had the BEST experience here!! I am a student at OU thats comes from out of town, so i was recommended to go here and they were able to help me out super quick! i called before to make sure they could take me and within 45 minutes after my call, my car was fixed! they were clear cut on the service they provided me and made going to get car help so much less stressful with their kindness. Will definitely be recommending them to anyone i know!

Great walk-in experience. I went in for an oil change, planning to price tires for the following week, but they were able to fit me into their schedule that day. Phillip was very helpful, giving me a range of tire options and good information on each. Good price on tires out the door; basic services included increased the value. GM Brian was also a pleasure to meet.

So slow!! I had an appointment at 8am for an oil change, it is currently 10:20 and they're still not done. They also have not said anything to me about it taking longer. It should not take over 2 hours for an oil change. There are cheaper and faster places to go. I will not be coming back.

I've been getting my vehicles repaired here for over ten years. They have always done exceptional work and I always feel they are honest with me. I send everyone I know here for repairs! Edit: My original review was 5 stars but when I did the original review I had been going here for over ten years - since they changed hands it has gone down hill. I was in about a year ago getting an alignment done and they did not do my alignment right. When I came back in, all my tires were wearing out on the inside, even the back tires on my front wheel drive car. They proceeded to tell me I needed new tires which was bad enough and that I also needed brakes. But they proceeded to try upselling me by saying I needed all four rotors as well. I did not believe them that I needed all four rotors so, I took it for a second opinion and I was correct. They were trying to get more money out of me when I was already charged $500 for brakes and an oil change. With the economy the way it is, everyone is trying their best to save money and find someone honest to help them out. With that in mind I will no longer recommend this place again.

Very bad at alignment!! I have done an alignment for my car with them on February 2022, after a few months the front tires got flat. The tires were flat because they were damaged in one side of them, which means that there was a problem in the car alignment. I went there to ask for a new alignment (it was there fault the tires got flat)before changing the tires , they didn't agree to do it . Here are some pics of what happened:

I've never had a bad experience in here. They're always so nice and informative! This is definitely my local shop. If you have a tire that needs patched, they're your place! You don't be disappointed.
