Awesome company. They came within 10 mins. My boyfriend got stuck and he tried for 20 mins to get us out but couldn't.. Didn't charge us a penny, because he couldn't get it out. I wouldn't go to any other tow company.. Thank you so much!!

The towing company was very prompt, sympathetic and knew exactly what they were doing. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I’m a father down in Cincinnati and my daughter’car would not start. I used USAA for roadside assistance to come and help her out. Athens Towing was dispatched and responded. Not only did he get there way earlier than expected, he was very helpful and friendly in getting her going. He advised her to go to autozone and get her battery checked, which she did. I personally called him and thanked him for taking care of her and easing my stress of being three hours away and not very helpful. He even followed up with my daughter to make sure everything worked out ok. I truly appreciate everything!!

Only had to wait less than an hour for a tow. The driver was really nice and allowed my mom and I to ride in the truck. I'm glad I called Athens towing.

We had a dispatch for another company that never showed. We had placed the call at 2:10 spoke to the driver at 4:13pm by 5:30pm we were done waiting. When I called their number and we talked a bit he was very polite, informative and gave us suggestions. About 5 minutes later got a call back because our insurance company placed a dispatch to our location. It was a blessing. We talked some more and he was on his way. Within 30 minutes he was hooking up our car and we were finally heading home. If yall ever get stranded I highly recommend you call Athens Towing. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. Thanks again for getting us safe and sound.

Call Athens Towing first!. Eugene was great! Very thoughtful and helpful when towing my daughters car after it died in McDonald's drive thru at 9pm at night. Very grateful .

Review from my father: My daughter’s car broke down on the two lane portion of route 33. It was at night and she was alone. I headed that way but was over an hour away and I knew her car would need towed. I called Athens towing while I was on my way. They returned my call promptly and headed towards where my daughter was broke down. I arrived just a few minutes before Athens towing. Athens towing was very easy to work with and was genuinely concerned about my daughter's well being. I have dealt with multiple towing companies and this by far was the best experience. I recommend them for your towing needs.

Athens Towing responded promptly when I called late about keys being locked in my son’s vehicle. They told me the price, when they would be there, and met all expectations. If needed, will definitely call again!

A couple weeks ago I hit a deer and totaled my car. I called Athens Towing and someone was there in about 20 minutes. Huge shout out to the gentleman! He was patient, kind, and willing to help. The gentleman ( I forgot his name) was kind enough to take me to the closest gas station so that we were off the highway, and even waited with me while my ride arrived. He even introduced himself to my dog, and was really great with him. Highly recommend this business!

Excellent service!! Great price, reliable, friendly and very professional. Will be using this company again if needed. Definitely recommend. Also the "Mater" tow truck at the office is too cute.

Extremely helpful and very friendly. Answered the phone right away, showed up quickly. Everything was much better than I expected. If I ever need a towing service again this will be the only place I look. Can't say enough good things about their service and the drivers. Excellent.

My transmission went out on my way home. Jon at Athens towing was not only fast getting to me, he offered to drop me at my friend’s house to wait for my ride home after I couldn’t get a cab. Couldn’t be happier with the service and professionalism. He rocks!

I have used Athens towing twice in the past 3 weeks, both times they have arrived within 15 minutes of the call and in a hurry to help me out. The driver is a hard working kind of guy and has been professional yet personable. Coming from Cleveland Ohio I expected to pay nearly $500 for a 9 mile tow but with Athens towing it costed me around $130. They have my business anytime. I am also convinced that any bad experiences with them are purely situational just like anywhere else.

My insurance company said they would arrange my tow. Athens Towing contacted me and said they would be coming to get my car. They said your insurance company will cover the price of the tow but that I would need to pay them a fuel fee of 10 dollars. I said no thank you I will use another company. Athens towing said that if I didn't want to pay for it right now they could have the car repair shop add it to my bill to charge my insurance. I said why don't you just include it in the tow fee. Athens towing said they were not allowed to do that. They said the insurance company would not pay. This sounded to me like they were not being honest and just trying to collect more money and somehow commit insurance fraud if they were gojng to have the car repair shop add it to my bill for the insurance to pay. I contacted my insurance company and they said that this company should not be charging this fee. They contacted another towing service that came very quickly and never tried to charge me additional fees.

Called my insurance company for road side service, Athens Towing agreed to provide the tow. They never showed up, waited 1 hr and 20 minutes for them to show up and it was only when my insurance company contacted me after the estimated arrival time expired to see if they ever did arrive that I told them no. My insurance company contacted me back and said they changed their mind. They provided their phone number, which is their company number, but it always went to voicemail. They could not just tell me they could no longer assist me, they just let me find out on my own. Not a company I could ever recommend nor will I ever use them in the future. User use at their own risk.

Worst Towing yard I've ever dealt with! Excessive storage and and towing fees! My battery was also stolen out of my van while in their care and replaced with a dead battery I had to immediately replace because they refused to admit they took it. They over charged me for 10 days my car went even their for and they refused to correct or even acknowledge my complaints and clear proof of discrepancies. They chose to ignore my calls and not return them. And on site they would claim I had to talk to someone that was conveniently not working that day. I over paid by $500 + for a 1110 day tow storage and my property was vandalized. Don't allow your car to be sent to Athens Towing it's a severe mistake!

Quoted me $80 on the phone, paid in cash $88 (including a tip) and they took my card number for “mileage”. My car was towed about 1.5 miles from my home. I was charged an additional $51 on my card. $130 to take my car not even 2 miles down the street. Seemed absolutely absurd to me and I’ve never ever had to pay that much for a tow, but transparency on the price would have been helpful. Especially during a pandemic when people are having a hard time paying their bills. Won’t be using this company again.

Absolutely horrible service. Blew a tire. The tow truck guy called before he got there and wanted me to lower the tire from underneath my truck, which didn’t happen. When he got there, I handed him the tools for it and he said they weren’t the right tools. I ensured him it was. He then figured it out(which shouldn’t he have known already) how to assemble the rods. Once he lowered, and put spare on truck. Didn’t say a word. Asked for a copy of receipt and he said I didn’t need it since insurance covered it. He left then as I was driving the part underneath the truck that hold the spare tire was dragging. I called him and he said he figured wherever I get a new tire will put the old on. (REALLY?!?!). I told him I needed him to put it back where it needs to be and he wanted me to do it myself. I told him he was paid to do the tow. He said it would be at least 40 minutes before he could do it. We ended up pulled over and had lunch as we waited. This company and driver deserve ZERO stars, but it won’t let me go that low. Btw, he never checked the air pressure of spare tire and said he didn’t have a gauge. F this place....

Broke down and was retrieved within 15 minutes at 11PM on a Tuesday. The driver helped keep me calm and made a great suggestion for where I should have my vehicle delivered that would cost the least and get my car fixed most reliably. Good experience.

This is the best tow service I have ever used. I was at the side of the road with a car that could not move and no one within two hours to call for help. These people were extremely nice, my driver Alex recommended me a great mechanic, and he worked with a smile the entire time. He honestly made the whole experience so much easier. On top of all of that, they do not gouge you with the prices and it was cheaper than I thought it would be. I will use them any time I will ever need a tow.
