This has been the 2nd tow this week by NoDak Towing & Recovery in Minot, ND. I have to say that both the tow truck drivers, as well as the dispatchers, have been exceptionally friendly and helpful, thank you very much!! During a stressful event, it is nice to have a smiling face or voice!!!
My only complaint is that it took an excessively long time. First tow took a total of 4 hours (waiting for the truck to tow us). Second tow we actually had an appointment for a pickup time of 8:00am, but the car was not picked up until about 9:30am.
Most of the problem is with the insurance company... When we call and put in the request for the tow they make it seem like the truck will be here immediately. They don't explain that the towing company is in a different town, 75 miles away. Then there may be other other issues (such as another tow before us or equipment retrieval needed, etc.) that happen before the tow truck is able to get to our location. This might seem obvious, but when you're stressed out, getting horrible cell service (like 1 bar of cell service), getting cold waiting and worried that the car may be beyond feasibility to fix (not to mention all the other things in your mind that are adding up) .. in other words, stressed out to the max, it would be nice for the insurance company to actually give you a realistic time frame.
In the end, this is not a fault of the tow truck company, it's a communication issue with the company that coordinates the tow. The main reason I mentioned it is so that others may also realize that it will probably take longer than expected for the tow truck to reach your location and you need to be patient, it is most likely not the tow truck drivers fault!
I also need to say, once the tow truck driver showed up to our location, he had the car hooked up and ready to leave in an exceptionally fast time frame!!!

Be super careful. This company is shady as they come. I had my vehicle parked at home (yes my legal residance). And my moms drunk ex was upset and called claiming the address was his (he wasn't even in north dakota. He called from Texas.) They took his word that it was his house (with absolutely zero proof). And they towed my car away. Even after explaining the situation they wouldn't make it right or return my vehicle. So be careful out there. Nodak will come tow your car away from your own house. As the man from their company stated "if we get a call, we'll tow it" so they'll tow they don't care about whether it's legal or not. Currently working with a lawyer to resolve this. BE CAREFUL
I’m so thankful Nodak Towing & Recovery took care of me when my vehicle broke down on the highway. Marcus and his crew made everything as easy as possible. You will be in great hands if you ever find yourself in need of their help. I can’t thank them enough for everything!
Called at dinner time on Easter Sunday. They were there in 20 minutes and that includes helping another stranded motorist. Excellent service. Even kept me updated along the way!

If you need a tow, Nodak Towing is the place to call! The owner Marcus is easy to get ahold of 24 hrs! I also had my powerstroke serviced on multiple occasions by Shannon! They both are very professional, always made sure my truck was a priority to get fixed, and that I was always taken care of. I highly Recommend Nodak for your towing and automotive services!!! Got stuck in the snow in the middle of a poorly plowed road so I called for help. Waited 45 minutes not bad. Was pretty annoyed when the worker hit me with the “you know it’s no travel advised right bud” like excuse me you think I want to be stuck and pay you guys $140 to move me 20 feet? If I didn’t have to be at work believe me I would be at home, bud. Proceeds to lecture me about driving “a small car in this blizzard” not professional or cool at all, like I had a choice. If you don’t like your job you shouldn’t be belittling the people your supposed to be helping
Call these guys if you want your mistake/car accident posted on Facebook by their employees to make fun of you. I slid into the ditch on an icy day and called to get help getting pulled out. Tow truck driver was meh and kept trying to sell me a car (whatever I can deal with that) all is fine and dandy until I go on Facebook the next morning and see an employee of Nodak towing posted a picture of my car accident on a Facebook page and proceeded to make fun of me. Very unprofessional and the owner didn’t really seem to care.
The tow truck driver took pictures of our vehicle to put on Facebook to make fun of my husband after we got into our accident and needed a tow out of the ditch. We planned on doing a raving review since they came out immediately on Sunday but they chose to be unprofessional instead.
If I could leave zero stars I would. After telling us someone was on their way a week ago,that person never showed up and nobody calledto let us know that the truck was still sitting on the side of the road until a sheriff's deputy showed up at our house one week later to tell us that it was about to be impounded for being abandoned. When we called we were told a long story about how it ultimately didn't get picked up by the person that was dispatched to it and apparently no other attempt to pick up the truck was made. After talking today we were told that someone was en route but four and a half hours later we drove by and there the vehicle still was. Nobody had ever been dispatched today either. Just getting a huge run around. Completely disappointed and frustrated. Incredibly unprofessional to not follow up on the vehicle wasn't initially picked up. Absolutely no reason for it to have been sitting there for an entire week with an open work order to our insurance company.
Called have flat tire no jack 18 miles out of Minot. He only wanted to tow it. Told me to many things can go wrong with changing a tire. I’m not on side of road but on a long approach wonder what could go wrong poor poor service!
This is an great company. They came right away and we were towed in minutes. Robert the driver was awesome and very helpful. I would highly recommend this company.
I needed a tow late on Saturday night. My call was answered right away. Andrew, the driver, showed up fast and was super friendly. The process was so quick and easy. I appreciated them making a situation that could have been very stressful, very painless instead. Would definitely call them again if we ever need to!
I wish I can give this company 100000 stars. Honestly, the level of service we received was beyond our expectations. Quick response time, quick to arrive, extremely friendly... what amazing adjectives can I use??? They deserve all the good ones. Thanks for pulling my son out of the snow ditch! Haha
Gary is the man!!!! Came and got me at 1 am. Got the trucked towed back to the lot and then took me to 3 different hotels in his personal vehicle til we found one that wasnt full. Even checked on me the next day. Would 1000% recommend them.

I had broke down out of town and needed a tow, so I called Nodak Towing and Recovery. Very quick to answer my call and very fast and friendly service. Gary was great to work with and helped me figure out what to do with my vehicle and had great pricing. All together amazing service and I will definitely be using Nodak Towing and Recovery again! Had a wheel bearing explode 70 miles from home, my insurance only covered a 50 mile tow, NoDak towing got my car to my mechanics and gave me a ride home without an absurd mileage charge. Employee was awesome and they got to me very quickly

Very professional, quick, and over all great experience, and a fair price. called several other companies and they gave my the run around or “thought I was a scammer/robo caller” after asking their name.
Gary went above and beyond to let me know the situation between what my roadside assistance covered and what I would have to pay out of pocket. He was right on time and very knowledgeable on all the equipment he operates. He runs a tight ship and I’m glad to have gotten the chance to talk with him on our trip from Minot to Mandan. Car broke down Monday. Called in Tuesday and they were able to pick it up shortly after I had called. They were very polite, professional, and affordable. Definitely made a bad situation better.
Let me preface this review in that I wanted to give a glowing report. I needed a car towed to our new place, came home last night. It's facing the oncoming traffic and well off the curb. It doesn't run. He said he'd fix it today. Welp...no such thing. In my view, whatever credibility he had is out the window. We call pro services to finish said services. Now I have to enlist the neighbors to get it turned around. Not a professional by any means.
So thankful for Gary this evening!! He was super prompt, pleasant, and exceedingly knowledgeable of the area! He got us out of a jam in jiffy and made this unpleasant experience rather comical. I will be using NoDak Towing for any future towing needs in the Minot or surrounding area. Thank you, Gary!!
We got rear-ended today, Saturday on a holiday weekend. We called Nodak towing and got an answer right away. They arrived really fast and were very courteous. We weren’t excited about being in the situation but at least the recovery went great.
My Acadia suddenly died overnight, called 3 other tow companies in town who couldn't come out, called NoDak and they were here in less than an hour with a couple of guys who got the thing hooked up and hauled off no sweat in no time at all. They were super friendly and knowledgeable about the areas mechanics, where to go and what to avoid. 10/10 will be my first call next time.
NoDak Towing & Recovery was very professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. They pulled my car out of the mud, and took care not to damage my car as they did so. I reccomend them if you need their services!
Locked both sets of my keys in my new car as I was washing it and Gary came out quickly got my door open and sent me on my way. Great customer service thank you!
