Don't come here if you're black you can literally show people exactly what the problem is under your vehicle, i ask one of the guys to take it off get charged $30 Then drive off and the exact same problem was still under my vehicle ! Was played like a fool I literally pointed at the hard plastic piece under my vehicle I asked the guy to take it off he Disregarded anything I said ! Drove off plastic piece still on and damaged vehicle even more! Thanks for NOTHING! Do not go to this place!!
Took my car there to get some work done on it and they were AMAZING! Super quick and timely about getting my done and he was very thorough in his work. 10/10. I would highly recommend Eckmans. Fair pricing and great work!

We were about 4 hours into a 3 day road trip when we had an unexpected brake problem. Not knowing where to go, we stopped randomly at Eckman's. I'm so glad we did! They were wonderful! They shifted some things around and the mechanic stayed a little late to get us back on the road within 2 hrs. Not a fun experience but it could have been so much worse. Highly recommend! Very friendly people. Knowledgeable. Towed my vehicle and put in a whole radiator system quickly getting me back on the road. Recommended great spot in town to spend the little amount of time it took. Great experience. Would recommend
I live in Colorado and my sons battery died and could not get the car started so we were in a bind. These guys were awesome! Came out were able to get the car started and replaced the battery in short period of time. Thank you Eckmans Auto for the amazing customer service and support!

Have had a few experiences. They are professional and honest. Not the least expensive place for car repair. One time they did misdiagnose my issue and it basically cost me $1000 to have it fixed again at a different place, but to be fair it was a tougher issue to diagnose on a vehicle that is very rare and they didn't have much experience with that type of vehicle.
We broke down in Jamestown and needed an alternator replaced, they towed us super fast, and were able to get the part and install in a few short hours. Very nice people and we felt so well taken care of!
These guys are the best. Turns out my car didn't need worked on, but they didnt hesitate to say bring it in. And they always pump my gas with a smile. Thank u Eckmans
This is a shop I will definitely visit again if the opportunity arises. I had a front wheel bearing fail while driving through North Dakota. It was 5:30 pm and Dennis(?) came out and towed the truck with trailer attached to the shop. We arrived there about 6 pm which is the time he was scheduled to go home. Instead of going home, he stayed until 10 pm to get the truck fixed so we could leave in the morning. He did not have to do this and repeatedly stated it was no problem. We were truly appreciative of what he did. This is not typical for most shops and I am encouraged by his willingness to help us out.
My dad and I were driving cross country in my jeep and we ended up stranded between Fargo and Bismarck. We got bounced around a few shops and ended up at Eckmans. They went above and beyond to help us. We needed a transfer case and they made several calls and waited hours for calls back to get us back on the road because they knew we were in a hurry. When the parts did come they worked after hours to get us back on the road as soon as possible. If you’re ever in Jamestown I would 100% recommend them. The managers and the mechanic who’s name was Kyle worked above and beyond and were nothing but nice to us.

We did install a new Timing Belt Component Kit, however on that style of engine, neither the Valve Cover or the coil packs need to be removed to
replace the Timing Components. As for his engine sounding worse he was informed that his alternator was noisy.
I got a flat tire in the same parking lot that Eckman's is. The shop was closed but they had 2 people working in the shop. I asked if I could use the lift to assist with the tire change and was told no. I used to have my repairs done there but after laying in the parking lot attempting to use the factory jack I don not believe that I will be going back.
had timing belt/water pump repaired car came back sounding worse with striped threds and oil leaking from coil packs/valve cover not seated properly. very unpleased, very poor service.
I usually do all my own work, and I'm always skeptical of shops, but these guys really did a great job, and didn't overcharge me. I would recommend these people to my mom.
We broke down while driving through town. This amazing place got us in and wouldn't quit until everything was right. We can not say enough good about this family run business. A real gem. Prices are so reasonable and such conscientious people. Truly a 5 star run shop. Bill from Wisconsin

I actually went here because my car literally couldn't crawl anywhere else, but I was pleasantly surprised.
This place is very old timely. There's one guy running the convenience store & writing up service orders for vehicles, but don't let that put you off.
I came here to have my flat tire fixed, but the mechanic said that it was shot. So I had to buy a new one.
Since this place was old timely though I was given the option of buying a used tire straight up from a mechanic for a fraction of the cost for a new one. The only catch was that I had to pay him directly with cash.
Lucky me I had the cash & was on my way with what turned out to be a pretty good tire.
Very dissapointed and would not reccomend. Unfortunately my family needed a towing and Eckman's was able to. After debate on if the repair was possible at their shop as we were going to tow it to Llyods due to the specialty of it, they convince us to tow it to Eckman's saying they could handle it. They kept it awhile to find out they were unable to make the repair, it had to go to Lloyds! But hey that would be another charge to tow it. AND we were charged another hundred dollars or more just for them to say they couldnt fix it. We had to bicker with atleast two different guys for them to finally tow the vehicle no charge considering the issues, but it did not justify the problem. It was not about customer service and the employees were very unfriendly. I would not reccomend them & will do my buisness elsewhere.
Great service helped fix our truck and waited a whole month for another company to pay them for the work they did due to it being a warranty job and it being 4 1/2 hours away from our home where it broke. Ty eckmans for everything
These guys are way overpriced. I used them on two separate occasions only to be screwed over by poor quality service and the cost was right there with the dealerships in town. I have had to redo the work they've done with a local mechanic I've met who charged me HALF the cost of the 'used' parts with new parts and also almost half the labor cost. Go elsewhere people. The only reason it's 2 stars is because they were friendly. They nicely take your money from you and leave you redoing the same stuff months later.
Very friendly and helpful service. They took the time to help us find a problem with our trucks electrical system lighting / fuses when no body else would or could. We are from Billings MT and had already been stranded in ND for a day. Thank you so much. I would defiantly recommend trying Eckman's they are great.
