Burnsville is a relatively rural area where we don't get municipal trash or recycling pickup, so we accumulate our metal recyclables and periodically take them to Burnsville Metal Recycling to sell. The process is ridiculously easy and the folks there are helpful and professional.
I've been here several times over the past few years and I've always had a good experience. They're very helpful and I've been pleased with their rates.
The guys here are great! Very helpful and accommodating. They have fair pricing and you can find many useful things worth buying too!One thing to keep in mind is that their main job is to process and ship off metal that they buy to be recycled. Selling metal to individuals is secondary. So just remember to be polite and not disrupt their hard work.
My favorite scrap yard in WNC. They may not be the biggest, but they are the best. Good prices and the staff is very helpful. Suggestion for beginners, don't go to any scrap yard until you do some home work. They are all very busy and will only educate you if you ask them a question, don't expect them to run down a list of the prices to you. The list is long and the prices change daily.
By far the best experience I've ever had them fellas are eager to help you and go above and beyond they're work duties to make sure your visit is is a memorable one . I give them fellers 5 stars
