Great place to drop off all your stuff. Throw away your trash, recycle everything else. Bins for metal, plastic and cardboard. Household items, used oil and glass.
And friendly staff to direct and assist you.
A few complaints.
1) You have to separate all of your recyclables into types (glass, plastics, cartons, etc) instead of putting all recyclables in one container like the one 10 mins away. This has caused my family to not recycle anymore since it became such a pain; which is awful since I have recycled my entire life.
2) Most of the dumpsters aren't clearly labeled.
3) The employees don't seem to actually care about the environment. I asked an employee if they have a place to pour old gas, and he said "the ground".
I didn't realize how nice this center really was until a recent visit to a recycling center in another state. We are lucky to have this clean facility with convenient hours. Only negative, seldom does staff offer to lend a hand.
