My son’s special project car that is going to be turned into his favorite animated character, Lightning McQueen, was supposed to have the finishing touches fixed here. The owner took in the car with false promises of when it would be fixed, but never once began working on it. These promises had been repeatedly broken for over a month. The owner offered no explanation as to why the work hadn’t been started and no rebuttal to us asking for it back - but made sure to charge $50 for towing it back with nothing done. Please don’t bring your vehicle here as it is a waste of time and I wouldn’t trust any work done as the owner has no integrity.

Hands down! The best around. Timely service and unbelievable prices. Don is extremely knowledgeable about auto repair and, overall, just a great guy.

Don’s Auto has been repairing my vehicles for years. The service has always been great and at a fair price. Din and his staff are very knowledgeable and have always done wonderful work for me. If you need any work done his would be the first place I would go.

Don’s auto was recommended to me and I’m glad that I’ve found them. Don is a decent and fair man and his employees know their stuff. I trust them with my vehicles and highly recommend them.

I can’t recommend this place enough! We took our van here for a second opinion as another shop told us our compressor was bad and would be a $2,000 dollar fix. My brother in law recommended Don’s. We dropped it off at 9 AM, by 11 they called and said the problem was a rock hitting and cracking the condenser and it was much less costly to repair. By 1:00 we were able to pick up the van and had working air! The shop was honest and communicative. It’s old school and you don’t get the bells and whistles of a new or fancier shop BUT it’s quality work for a great price. We will go here exclusively from now on and I will highly recommend to anyone!

I called Don over Easter Weekend for my daughter’s car that she travels to and from college with. Don’s Auto was the only place that was willing to work on it over a holiday weekend. Don is a stand up, honest businessman that I highly recommend.

Absolutely hands down the best place I have ever found to bring my vehicles. Don and his staff have worked on five different vehicles for me that are owned by myself and my family. He is somebody who I trust and that is something that is very difficult to find in this industry. His prices are more than fair and he will not sell you something that you will not need. I have told him many times that I trust him and if he tells me I need something then I truly do need it. I also love the fact that my money is going to somebody local and not a large corporation. I honestly cannot say more better things about Don and his establishment. I was recommended by a friend and have been using him for many years. Now. I am walking home right now because he took in my car last minute and will replace an alternator that went bad on my son's car. That level of service cannot be matched.

The most fair and honest mechanic in Holly Springs. Always busy, and when he says he'll get after it...he does. We took our daughter Juke there and it needed a new bumper and headlight after two unfortunate incidents. Paint job matches and he was able to find an original equipment Nissan bumper for this 2012 car. Not the prettiest service center in the area, but Don will get it done.

A friend recommended Don's Auto Repair in Holly Springs. I called to schedule an appointment. I was scheduled the very next morning at 8 am. My front and rear brakes were replaced and the price was very reasonable. I am so thankful for Don's Auto Repair. I highly recommend this auto repair business.

Honest, great job on the work, fast, treats everyone well, only had the best experiences at Don's. Very nice people, very honest, never upsells or over charges. More people need to run their business like Don does. Only shop that I'll let touch my truck.

Don fixed my brake lines a few months ago. Ford was going to charge me $400 to fix them on top of a 3-4 week wait. I called Don and he charged me $200 and did it the same day. I don't think I'll be going anywhere else for car repairs. I'd give Don 6 stars if I could.

A/c was broke. Other places were saying I had to get a new compressor and other components that would cost upwards of $300. Don and his guy came out and recharged my a/c. Charged me $60 for the Freon. First time I’ve had a car with a/c. It is literally a blessing. Talked with don afterward, he is a guy who cares more about getting peoples cars fixed than making money. Really great guy. Gonna come back here for any future problems.

I had a problem with my truck leaking fuel from the fuel line. I had a family friend who is a mechanic look at it and he told me what it was. Don's Auto stays busy but is honest and well priced. He towed my truck from my driveway to his shop for $50. The truck was fixed in less than 1 day, parts+labor came to $150 . I highly recommend him to anyone.

I know him last 20 years . He is very blunt and honest when it comes to pricing and whether or not the repair is actually required. I did send him my other family member and friends over the years. hand down guy may God bless him over coming years .with good health Ameen.

Don is the go-to man for your car. He is friendly, knowledgeable, caring, and fair. You won't have a problem at all. Bring your car to him and he'll tell you straight what you need. Don't waste your money at Firestone or other box brand, you'll get less than you bargained for.

Only been to Don once but he took care of me in no time, right before the holidays. (December 22nd) Being a work truck, I was looking for honest and quick service and was quoted a minimum of $1,500 (before deciding if the truck needed frame damage repair) at a nearby auto shop. Don fixed my truck exactly as I needed for a total of $75. I will always call Don first if I need any repairs in the future.

Called Don on a Wednesday to replace a wheel bearing on a 2010 toyota prius. I was able to take it to him first thing the next morning and he was able to knock it out in less than an hour at a fraction of the cost that firestone and the dealer had quoted me. Great service, fast work, fair prices! Will always go to him for services.

We just had our old sedan in for brakes, rotors and a tow. I just knew it would eat up my teacher paycheck. Much to my surprise, it ended up costing less than he quoted. Very nice and honest mechanic and shop. Highly recommend and we will be back anytime we need work done. 😊

Noticed my car was leaking profusely, and called around to see if someone could look at it today, understanding it may be a long shot as it was noon on a Friday. Called Don's and he said to bring it in. Up front he said that one of his staff would be leaving at 12:30, so he may not be able to fix anything right away, but to bring it in to be looked at. Was greeted by Don, himself. So very eager to help, he has me pop the hood and diagnosed the issue right away. Had me pull it to the garage and asked if I minded waiting a little while. The waiting area was fairly messy, but I'm stangely comfortable amongst disarray. Though,I did say a small prayer that I would not need to use the restroom during my wait, which looked like it hasn't been cleaned in a year. The staff was in and out of the office, and all acknowledged me with a friendly attitude and a smile. After about an hour, Don says he fixed it up. I thanked him for working so quickly, saying I wasn't expecting him to be able to fit me in, and he said he didn't mind because it was a serious issue and wanted me to be safe. Good guy, no nonsense, and charged me a good rate.

Don has been a standup Mechanic who is honest and very fair for his clients. Very hard working person. I have known Don since 2005 and trust him with all of my vehicles.

Honest hardworking man, his prices are reasonable, his wit sharp and his car knowledge immense. Most times he can almost guess why you are there. He stands behind his work if something seems awry after repair. Just never-mind his messy shop, its a sign of great productivity. Glad to say, "my mechanic."

Don't judge a book by its cover. Though the shop may look a little bit run down, Don Davis and his staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I have utilized his shop for the past 3 years to service fleet vehicles for the construction company I work for. He is very blunt and honest when it comes to pricing and whether or not the repair is actually required.

Don is one of the very few vehicle mechanics that I trust. He does great work at a fraction of the cost of national retail shops. I hope he keeps his shop for a long time to come, for he is as honest as they come.

Do not trust this man with your car. I got my wheel bearing done and a few days later a lug broke off and by the time I pulled over 2 others were about to go. I was traveling on 40 doing 70 and I would have flipped or lost complete control of my car. Thanks to him I nearly died.

I have been going to Don's Auto for as long as I can remember. I have lived in Holly Springs area since 1997. He is trust worthy, honest and fixes the issue. Many locations will get the job done, but they tend to look for things (the so call add ons) that do not need to be fixed and the prices will be significantly higher. Don will make you aware of items and put it as a watch. He will never compromise your safety or the safety of others.. I know the place does not look fancy and many of our town leaders have tried to squeeze him out of Holly Springs. When he retires or decides to leave; we will lose the last of the honest mechanics.

went in and got taken advantage of sold me an engine that died in three days because of faulty installation, and would not fix under the 30 warranty, fixed a perfectly fine transmission before even checking to see if engine was shot, this guy is a crook and absolute con artist. Total loss of approximately 8,000 dollars and I am a disabled man, who he put homeless over this, not an honest man, how can any mechanic get told to find out whats wrong, says it transmission, and then after getting paid go owe my i guess your engines shot! disgusted
