I cannot say enough nice things about my experience at this store!! I was a bit shy about going in because the day prior I had attempted to purchase new wiper blades at Advance and received such horrible service that a customer behind me stepped in and stood up for me to the horrid associate behind the counter. Anyway, I received above and beyond assistance and kindness by the associate who helped me at O'Reilly's. Not only did he put the blades on for me but he and another associate assisted me when I accidently cut myself while I was fiddling with my car. They did not have to do any of this. I only wish I had written down his name so I could mention him in this review. Ladies, go to O'reilly's in Holly Springs with confidence, you will not be disappointed here!
I bought a battery at O'Reilly's in Holly Springs, NC about 6 weeks ago and started having issues with my car. It had difficulty starting and even died at one point while driving, which is obviously unsafe.
O'Reilly's tested the battery and said it was good, so I took the car to a mechanic for further diagnosis. They performed more in-depth testing on multiple components and found that the battery was only able to hold a 70% charge which they indicated is not normal for a new battery and suggests an internal issue.
Despite this, O'Reilly's refused to replace the battery stating that 70% meant it was "good." I ultimately went to Auto Zone and purchased a replacement battery, and so far, the issues appear to have been resolved. The Auto Zone representative was surprised that the original battery was not replaced by O'Reilly's.
I am very disappointed with how this was handled.
I just took my wife's car in to have the battery tested. It came back bad (6 yr old original). Hector installed the replacement, rang me up and out the door in under 20 minutes. Great service!
Andrew was a lifesaver! Our car battery died, and just when we thought we’d need to call a tow truck, he came to the rescue and gave us a charge. He was quick, friendly, and saved us both time and money. We’re so grateful for his help!
I would just like to say Hector from the Holly Springs O’Reilly Auto Parts is one of the nicest, most helpful gentleman I have ever dealt with at a Parts Store. He took the time to help me find a part for my car and when he discovered that O’Reilly’s didn’t carry the other part for my car he suggested a salvage yard. This is a part that has been on back order from the dealer for 9 months. He was just so helpful. When I returned the next day to pick up my Catalytic Converter he carried it out to my car. The service I received at this store went above and beyond. I recommend O’Reilly’s 100%!
I went to O'Reilly's Auto Parts to purchase a Catalytic converter for my Beetle. Hector was the clerk at the Holly Springs location. He couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant, and when I returned.today to pick it up he even carried it to my car for me. Great customer service and the part I needed I will return!
Friendly and helpful staff. My battery died and I happened to be nearby this location. Cristian saved the day for me. He performed a free battery/alternator test, helped me pick out a new battery, and even installed it in under 15 minutes for no additional cost.
I had a wonderful experience at O’Reilly Auto Parts today, thanks to the fantastic customer service provided by Hector. One of my low beam headlights had gone out, so I went to the store to purchase a replacement. Hector was able to locate the exact lightbulb that I needed in a manner of seconds, and was kind enough to replace the bulb for me. His knowledge and expertise made that replacement easy and efficient, and I was on my way in just a few minutes. I really appreciated the kind and patient manner that Hector displayed, and would recommend him and this store to anyone who has similar needs.
Went in for a headlight bulb and the sweet guy with the long hair and glasses helped me put it in. I have had a week of trying to get different people to fix it and he melted all my problems away. So thankful for the people that work here, and especially him!
My headlights on my Honda Pilot were no longer providing enough light. This morning, I met with Hector at the Holly Springs store and he guided me through several options on headlights. From there, he went above and beyond his job and installed the headlights for me which was greatly appreciated. Hector was knowledgeable and friendly, and now I will have much better visibility during my nighttime driving. Thanks Hector!!
Engine light came on, asked them to run a free diagnostic. Gave me the exact code, what it meant, and recommendations on what to do next. Even recommend some products but was never pushy! Great experience. I will stop at an O'Reillys again if my car needs it.
I would like to give a shout out to the young gentleman Noah who helped me with my keys while I was in a bind. Excellent customer service and going above and beyond! I wish more folks were like this! He needs a raise!
Jon in Holly Springs took great care of us today going above and beyond. An alternator we purchased in February went bad after 9 months and he made it hassle free to get a replacement. He secured a return customer!

You went above and beyond, and my goal is to make sure every female friend I have in town now goes to O’Reilly! A little kindness went a long way this morning.
I came in looking for a brake light switch for my vehicle and was immediately greeted by Justin. Very friendly and overall a quick process. He grabbed the part I needed and helped me install it successfully. It was also super hot outside and he still was able to help me fix the problem in my vehicle. Super helpful staff that help you find the right parts for your car. They've helped me with my car battery when i had issues. Their customer service keeps me going to them vs the other auto parts shops, including one a 1000ft down the road.
Had my daughters car this afternoon. The air conditioner was warm on the drivers side. Came in to be serviced by Andrew. We decided to let the r car sit for awhile with the hood open so it could cool down. Afterwards Andrew was right there with coolant and really to roll. Also recommended some Freon and advised me where to go to have it out in! Thanks Andrew, job well done. Company is lucky to have such a kind and responsible man as yourself working for them!

Came here to O’Reilly‘s for a rebuilt carburetor for a 1969 Dodge Dart and Tyler and the other employees were very helpful and tried very hard to make sure that I got the right one which ended up being yes the right one and worked very well now the car runs really well so highly recommended! Also help me pick out the right oil and oil filter!
I did use the competition next door for years....but Rolondo and his crew have made me a loyal customer..

There was one time I didn't have a good experience and didn't go for a while. I don't see that person working there. Since I started going back in 2021, everyone there has been very helpful. I like how they'll help install a battery for you!
The guy at the front was amazing! I wish I’d gotten his name (maybe it was Wilson or something?) but my sister and I used our lunch breaks to see what was wrong with her car. He instantly made a stressful situation much lighter by cracking jokes here and there while continuing to be unbelievably helpful. Needless to say, my sister and I know nothing about cars but her car wouldn’t start today and when we finally got it, we took it here and he tested the battery (that was almost 5 years old) and said it was a bad battery. He offered the cheapest options first and then explained the differences, he didn’t try to sell us a bunch of stuff we didn’t need or give us bogus information (like some other places have) he explained everything he did and KEPT making jokes to brighten our spirits! We got everything done in no more than 10-15 minutes. I live in Angier and I’d drive here just to have this guy’s help. He’s so nice and helpful! 10/10 would recommend to anyone.
Customer service was awesome! Donna (I think that was her name) helped me as soon as I walked in the door, and Aaron (I think that was his name) was awesome as well. I had just left Advanced Auto after being told that they wouldn’t install my battery because it would take over an hour. I drove right next door to O’Reilly for a second opinion, and they installed my battery in 20 minutes. Awesome service, and I would give them more than 5 stars if I could!

Your counter rep Jaimilyn Johnson at the Holly Springs, NC store was less than helpful today. I only wanted to exchange a set of spark plugs that were incorrect for the right ones. I did say that I had no idea when I had purchased them and they might not have even come from your store. She accused me of forcing them in. I did admit to trying one plug and when it was obviously the wrong thread size returned them. The plug had a tiny bit of grease on it and was otherwise undamaged. The other 7 were unopened. It might seem petty but I love my classic old car and would never, never try to force a spark plug. I told her I would take my business elsewhere. Dennis Dougherty
