I will take my car here any time I have an issue. Randy was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and honest. He definitely knows what he is talking about and he works hard to make sure you are happy with the service and that your vehicle is running well. He takes the time to explain the issues in a way that you can understand without being condescending, like a lot of mechanics are to women. Even as a one-man shop, he tore down and repaired the engine in my Jeep Wrangler before other shops could even get me in for an appointment. He seems to have better prices than other shops and he goes above and beyond while, in my experience, other shops tend to do just enough to get the car out the door and get as much money as they can. He even did a thorough cleaning of my engine bay and brakes (without charging) and everything in my 9 year old car looks brand new.
My car sat at another local shop for three weeks and they did nothing to fix the issues I was having. I had to call about five times in those three weeks for updates because they never reached out to me. Each time I called, they told me they had done minimal diagnostics but they would get to it eventually. I ended up picking my car up from that shop and bringing it to Randy's Automotive. He was working on it almost immediately. He called several times to give me updates on the progress and was very thorough in his explanations.
I haven't been in the area too long and this was the first time I had major issues with my car. I was hoping to find a good, reliable mechanic and it looks like I did!
Randy is the best around. He is honest, knowledgeable, and helpful. He 100% goes above and beyond in each of his services and he will ensure you have the best care for your car. You’re in good hands if you come here! (A huge benefit is he has a shop dog named rocket.)
The best shop I have ever been to. The most honest man in the world. Most mechanics want to take advantage of a woman, especially a senior citizen, but not Randy. He helps in any way he can and fixed my problem right on the spot. I will never go anywhere else no matter how long his wait list is. He is worth it!

Randy is an angel with skin on!! In September I was on the road from Dallas to Salisbury MD, and on a Friday evening - 4:45, my car was acting up to the point I didn't think I'd make it home. Randy was so gracious and had me come in, worked on my care for over an hour and kept me on the road! This was even though he had Friday evening plans! What a gift.
Randy is the best! His reputation is his advertising! He literally doesn’t need to pay for advertising because his work does that for him! He treats people right! One may have to wait, but he is literally a one-man-show!
Best mechanic around hands down he is very straightforward and knows his work. He replaced my bmw water pump and my baby been running like new..he will be the only person working on my car
The best mechanic I've ever taken a car to. With just a short conversation you can tell he knows his stuff. Had my car fixed in two days for a very reasonable price .

Took my vehicle on short notice, fixed what needed fixing, left me detailed notes with recommendations but wasn't pushy about it. Very reasonable charge for the repair.
