Response to Eric Olah. I too had 21lb and got $3. But I had to look at the receipt. The tare weight of the trash can you put them in had to be taken off that. What they need to do is show you the trash can weight. My biggest issue is driving my vehicle in that driveway. I will be lucky i don't get a flat out of it. So, not worth it to me to chance it.
Visited Friday 9/16 and had a terrible experience. I have never worked so hard to get my items sorted the way they requested with no assistance offered. The payout machine also was not working and they had to give me a check all for $30 so not worth the aggravation
Terribly low prices. No where close to market prices Yesterday we got 80 cents per pound for the stainless at a different yard. Here They paid us 40 cents a pound today. We were expecting at least 200 hundred more for our load. We feel ripped off going here. Glad our copper didn't fit on the truck. We will give it to someone that pays fair prices. We'll give them 2 stars for how fast they were. I'm just guessing they were excited to rip us off. Didn't want to give us enough time to 2nd guess the prices.
Called to have a car and a van junked and picked up Gentleman from the Washington site came and got the car, said he would come get the Van the next day. That was 3 weeks ago. Called the Greenville site and the most rudest lady answered. Nope never again. Rude Rude customer service!
Owner too cheap calling around for pricing and market is at 61 cent per lb for aluminum cans. They try to give you .41 cent per lb. 20 cent difference from what market value is. It's ridiculous
Arrived with 16oz bottle beer cans, empty. These guys wouldn't accept it because they said it was full of beer. Who will bring full of beer cans to a recycling center? will not ever come here again. Thieves
These people are full of s**t. I came in with a bag of aluminum cans weighing 22lbs and they only gave me 3$ for it. At .48 cents a pound (which is what their recipt said was the going rate for aluminum cans) i shouldve gotten 10.56$ for that bag. Total f***ing rip off.
what a wonderful place the people are so helpful, kind, great to see. I drive from Bath just to recycle my junk here because of the people that work there.
Scrap Metal is now bought at a great place-Hardee's Recycling. We have been dealing with Willie and his team for over a year. When it comes to Copper, Aluminum, Junk cars, steel, iron and more, they have great scrap metal prices per pound in Greenville, North Carolina, NC. The good news is they have an ATM that pay cash, real money for copper and it works fast, so you are in and out!!! So if you have scrap metal in Greenville, NC go see the team at Hardee's. They buy batteries, computers, copiers, printers and more and great prices per pound, today. They even sell Used Car Batteries, a car battery store, that are fully charged, affordable, cheap and tested. It is a great Recycling Center for Greenville. It is also a Drop off Center, location that actually pays for old broken appliances! Not just a salvage yard or a junkyard. Greenville Recycling. If you want to sell near me or look for where can I find a scrap metal buyer, come to Hardee's in Pitt County, NC.
