Unfortunately was dealing with a septic back up and needed to get it pumped as soon as possible. I called up Thompson Enterprise and spoke with Jason, who explained everything clearly, and was able to put us on the schedule for the next day. Somehow it worked out that they were able to come same day I called, and Tyler called me to let me know he was on the way. He was professional, kind, and quick! They were able to get my septic pumped and save me a massive headache from being in that situation. Everyone I interacted with was exceptionally kind, professional, and quick. Can't recommend them enough!
We had a sudden backup of our septic system on a Saturday and we called multiple places that said they had emergency services. Most never answered or could not come for at least a full day if not more, or had no one "on call".
We called Thompson and they answered their phone! They talked to us about what was happening and correctly diagnosed we did not have a block but needed a pump out. And, they came out the next morning at 8:30 a.m. Within an hour we were done. they took great care in replacing sod and cleaning up the area they worked in. I highly recommend them.
I am very pleased with Thompson Enterprise Plumbing Service! I wanted to do some remodeling in the bathroom and kitchen.Jason came out, and we talked about what I wanted done.He gave me some excellent advice & answered my questions! Afterwards, the crew came to do the job. I had new fixtures installed in the kitchen sink, and faucets & a shower head in the bathroom. A new toilet was installed.
Outside, 2 spigots were fixed/installed.
David and Noah took care of the installation of everything. They did an excellent job, were very knowledgeable & organized! Everything was cleaned up before they left.

Almost now a year later a leak in my old galvanized pipe sprang up 08/10/2025, called Jason and within a few hours he came over and fixed the hard to get to leak in my crawlspace on this Sunday. Jason and Tyler have rescued us in all of our plumbing issues from day one. We've been in our home for almost 30 yrs and he's replaced toilets. Repaired and replaced spigots, shower heads, kitchen and bathroom faucets . Installed new sinks after remodel.
We trusted them with the re-plumbing of our grandpas ranch house and they did an amazing job. New sinks, toilets, and showers really made a huge difference.
And in the past month, our kids new home has needed some plumbing TLC with their outdoor pump and water softener and they came TO THE RESCUE!! The kids were up and had "running water" in no time. Thank you J&T a million times over.
Called Thompson on a Sunday for a septic issue and they answered the phone! They were able to make it out Monday morning to take care of the issue. The crew was polite, professional and answered all my questions. They left the yard as close to undisturbed as anyone could expect. The cost was very reasonable for the work done. Tyler and James came out 4 hours earlier than scheduled, which was much appreciated since we couldn't use our toilets. They pumped out the septic system, answered our questions, gave recommendations and were all around super nice & professional guys. Plus, the fee was very reasonable. Had our septic tank pumped by them. Was originally scheduled for 4-6pm. Called me and said they were running ahead of schedule. Showed up got to work and was done in about 45 minutes. These guys are great! We had issues with our well water pump and they came out same day within 15 mins of calling and had our pump up and going in no time! We had water within an hour of calling! They are very reasonably priced for the great service and knowledge that they have and I highly recommend using Thompson Enterprise! 5 stars for me!
They came the same day I called them. My hose bib froze and busted and was gushing water. Had to turn off water to the house. They came earlier than expected. I had to work but my mother was home. She said they were very nice. All of the other plumbers I called couldn't come for several days. Thompson Enterprise was a blessing to me and my mother.

Jason did an incredible job for us. He replaced 2 hot water heaters. He and his son Tyler are true gentlemen and extremely professional. Jason recognized that i have an older home with copper piping therefore he did not cheap out with sub standard fittings but used all copper fittings that he molded on site! Both Jason and Tyler were both very clean and professional and left no mess whatsoever. They even brought their own cardboard to use as a necessary walking paths while indoors. When he knew i had a leaking water heater he came immediately to assess and then replaced. I would highly recommend Thompson Enterprise for your plumbing needs. They really know what they are doing! Speed Shop is the new name and he owners moved from down the street. Our 5 vehicles have a continued great home for service with to the added “NASCAR” quality diagnostic gear. They work on diesel as well, if you’re looking to save some maintenance costs. We are pleased to meet the new team offering the Thompson/Harrold quality service we’ve come to expect and appreciate. Wonderful service. Was able to get me in same day I called for an inspection, was able to allow my kiddo to stay in the truck since he was sleeping. Friendly and VERY knowledgeable. Will definitely continue using Thompson Enterprise. Great family company.
Jessie was absolutely amazing to work with. My family and I were traveling down I-40 when we had an emergency with our vehicle. After accidentally calling Thompson Enterprise thinking it was a car rental place, they were able to get us towed safely to the local dealership, even though they were closing in 15 minutes. Due to no rental cars in the area, Jessie had already offered to rent us a U-Haul to continue our weekend trip while our car got checked out at the dealership. The owner (we never got his name!) and Jessie were phenomenal and kind during this very stressful moment at the beginning of our trip. We were very fortunate to have broken down right in Burgaw and received such wonderful service from the Thompson team.

As I was headed to school my vehicle broke down leaving me stranded on the interstate, so I called a few business that refused to help me, but thankfully Jason and his team came to the rescue! They were EXTREMELY kind and professional. They did a great job on my vehicle and had me on the road in no time! Their prices were unbeatable, and their work was of great quality.
