I take everything here. Large family and almost a small fleet, lol. They are not the cheapest shade tree duck tape type of shop. They seem more family sized and have always been straightforward and close to estimated prices. It's worth the money, in my opinion, as good honest mechanics are hard to find these days, and they are more affordable and faster than the dealerships.

Had to get my truck towed here, they took care of the problem and worked with me when I was stuck at work. Always have great service and fair prices here.

I had gone to a different place in Jacksonville, for an oil change. That place told me that my brakes were bad and I needed roters. Luckily, I didn't have time, to get that done that day. I had bought my car from my mom and later on, she had told me that she had not long ago, put brakes on my car, right before I had bought it from her. So, I decided on my day off that I would go to Sander's in Richlands, because, they are closer to where I live. Plus, I know these people that run this store. They looked at my brakes and told me that they are fine, I don't need brakes right now and that I could wait until my next oil change. Thank you Sander's Auto Parts for being honest people and for not taking my money like that. I'll be bringing my car to you for now on. I'll also be telling people about your honest service.

Amazing service! I was traveling through Richlands this afternoon when my battery light came on. I stopped at their shop & asked if they had time to replace my alternator since I was 40 minutes from home & needed to get to Mt Olive. They said they could do it & asked for my keys. I didn't ask for a price prior because I figured I didn't have a choice but to get it fixed. I was pleasantly surprised at the speed & quality of their work & the very fair price I received. Being from out of town & likely a 1 time customer for them, they could have easily just jacked up the price, but I honestly felt like they treated me like one of their long time customers. Highly recommend taking your vehicle there if you are local, you won't be disappointed.

I called shortly before they closed because my car wouldn't start (battery). They came to me, fixed it quickly, and sent me on my way. I am so appreciative!

This place is awesome! I’ve used them several times in the past and have always recommended them. This week I lost power steering while in Richlands. Luckily I was as very close to Sanders. The car died as I pulled in! They not only replaced the alternator and battery but did it while I waited!! You can’t get better than these guys!!

Had my AC serviced here. They fixed my problem for what I thought was a reasonable price, however they left some parts off of my vehicle. I returned the next day to collect the parts. They did offer to put them on for me but I decided I would rather not have their mechanic do it since he didn't feel they were necessary components of my vehicle.

The owner, David and his wife I've known them both for many years, through business or personally, as did his and her parents. He, as well as his employees are always pleasant and very professional each time I see them while doing auto repairs or to simply have an LP cylinder filled for our family grillin' enjoyment. Should your needs include auto & truck related and prompt courteous service, to boot. Give'm chance, because you'll not be sorry. Permit the new owner David and his wife Rhonda to assist you with your automotive needs. The former owner a Mr W.T. Sanders and his sons, Julian and Gene always helped running the place, while Gene was working as a line officer with the Onslow County Sheriff's Department. I also knew as well as worked there with Gene as a dispatcher officers.

From Charlotte, NC.I was traveling back home, and my car began to overheat. I was very upset. I stopped here to check out the issue. They diagnosed the problem which was the thermostat. It was fixed in a few hours at a reasonable price. They were very helpful and I didn’t feel like I was taken advantage of. I couldn’t thank them enough!

I good always go to Sanders because the price that they quote you is the what you pay. A good honest repair shop very hard to find theses days and very friendly, polite and respectful people to do business with and if you are like me I buy own parts they will put on and just charge labor, a real nice place to do business.

Sanders Automotive is a life saver. Being in the automotive industry, it is hard to rely on someone to fix things for you when a vehicle is out of town and cannot get back to your shop. David, the owner, hooked us right up. My customer was able to take his vehicle there and they repaired it in a very timely and affordable manor. David was a pleasure to speak to and work with. Stopped in here to pick up a uhaul trailer. Very nice staff. Made me feel home as soon as I walked in. They helped get the trailer hooked up and were extremely helpful. They also do old fashion gas pumping for it. Great place and good people.

I have just moved to Richlands and one of my cars needed an inspection. This place is where I took my car, for the first time. I found it to be welcoming, wonderful and respectful. I'll "definitely" return and tell my friends of it!

Better late than never? I don't live in Richlands anymore but when I did I always took my cars to Sanders. The first time I walked in there, fresh in from Ohio and nervous about finding a new mechanic because my family had the same mechanic in our hometown for a long time, there were a bunch of older men huddled around drinking coffee and just hanging out with the owner, and I knew that was probably a good place, they reminded me a bit of my grandpa and his small business, it was almost like home. They were always really great and never talked down to me, and if I did need something explained they always took the time for me. I never had a single complaint, even when I had to take the baby with me and wait while they worked on my car (they also had pretty clean bathrooms), and after a few times going there he knew my name and both cars, and not long after that he knew my phone number as well. I hope they're still as awesome as they were when I was down there, I have yet to find a real replacement.

I just moved to Richlands because my husband is in the military and we went to this place because Walmart wasn’t doing oil changes so someone at Walmart referred us to them and I wasn’t disappointed. Very sweet and understandable people. There was a bit of wait but that is totally understandable with the pandemic going on. Very good on pricing.

Truly appreciate the professional work they did on my car , couldn't have been happier with the price. I would recommend them to everyone who needs to have their car worked on , can't go wrong with these people. They are my new go to mechanic's

This place is the best. Owner is so nice and funny. What doesn't this gas and auto store not do! You go once you will be back a must try. Honest work. Great workmanship.

Best place in town! Get your car fixed, inspected and full serviced. While waiting get a drink and a snack, hangout in the air condition waiting room with a tv and make sure to get that gas tank filled before you leave without even doing it yourself since they are a full service station.

I love these guys!! They have worked on all my vehicles!! I have 7 vehicles so I keep them busy..lol! They always work around my schedule and do awesome work! If you want great work by truthful people bring your vehicle here!!

This is a great place with extremely nice people. I needed a car Inspection and I was in and out within 25 minutes. This is only because there were 3 others ahead of me. This piece of history in Richlands is the only place that I know that gives full service at the gas pumps. I will return in the future.

The folks at Sanders is one of the reasons we retired to North Carolina. We reside in town and want to keep as much business as we can in town. Sanders maintain and repair our two Jeeps, and have always been more than fair. They are very easy going and their shop is always welcoming. We would never go anywhere else!

The only full-service gas station in the County. The staff is awesome, always friendly. I get my gas, oil change, inspections, and all other maintenance at Sander's Auto Parts. Inside is an air conditioner waiting area with a table and chairs, TV, restrooms. Everyone is quick to help, they have a ton if auto tools and hardware stuff inside. This is simply the best gas station and mechanics not only in Richlands, in all Onslow County.

Previously I had good experience with them(been here 5 times before), however yesterday they did not shut my hood all the way, and the yanked all the wiring to my overhead lights on my truck-which they had no business even messing with to begin with(they were not part of the problem).

I have been using this wonderful place for decades. Absolutely hands down the nicest, good prices and honored their quotes each time mechanic shop. All of my Marines and their families use this shop. I just got here from Okinawa Japan and having a hard time settleing in with my autistic son. Going from being a marine wife with a steady income to a single momma, I bought my first car from my savings and Sanders was seriously so kind to me. I will definitely be going back. These guys are great. My first experiance was with an alternator on my SUV. They quoted an installed price of what it would cost for the part alone. I have since had work done on my cars and can say they are.always a pleasure to do business with. They are honest and do excellent work. I highly recommend them!
