Capt. Mike went above and beyond to help save, tow, trailer, and prepare my boat for travel. We would've been in a huge mess if it wasn't for Capt. Mike. We are so appreciate and cannot recommend them enough. If you have any boat troubles, they will take care of you! 5 stars is not enough!
I can't thank Derrick enough from towboat. He was so helpful to tow our boat (late in the evening) after it took on some water in our slip. He worked closely with our mechanic to get the boat on their trailer to prevent any further damage. Thank you so much Derrick!!
Had issues with my boat, and it wouldn’t start. I have had my Tow Boat US for a year and only used it twice, and let me tell you it’s been a life saver. Both times they pickup the phone right away and came out promptly, Derek was extremely attentive and helpful & jumped my boat in no time and I was able to get back safely to the marina either with my family onboard. Ok these guys are great and a must have on your fav call list on lake Norman. When I need them they come out fast and very helpful. WOW I’m glad I pay for their help. Worth every penny. Came out to help me and with their help I got my boat back without having to cost a fortune. They just used experience and a little know how and got me free. Great job I don’t think I gave you a big enough tip….You guys ROCK. Next time I see you out there with those red and white boats on the lake I will be sure to give a shout out!!
When you NEED anything on the water from a tow to salvaging your boat in the middle of the night, TowBoatUS is fantastic. They take the stress out of an anxious filled event. Can’t speak high enough about them!
We’ve been members for about 5 years and they have delivered friendly awesome service every time! Especially a few days ago when Ken came to help us out, he arrived within 15 minutes, jumped our battery and had us back on the water super fast! He was super nice and helpful! Thank you Ken!
Wow, I had my 17 year old son out on the lake with his sea doo jet ski when someone in another jet ski ran into him and tore a hole in the side. He called me in a panic and I called TowBoat US. This turned a bad day into a much more manageable day as Derek went to the crash site and called me and texted me as he assessed the situation, decided he didn’t need to charge me for a tow and instead took the time to shred k e of his life jackets and use that to plug the hole in the fiberglass so that he could drive it back. He didn’t charge us a penny and he followed him back to make sure he was safe and didn’t start to sink. I can’t even express how much easier that made the situation. If I could give these guys 6 stars I would. Not only was the boat captain awesome to deal with, so was the customer service rep who also stayed in contact with me. Wow, you just don’t see this type of consideration in todays world enough.
ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING!!! I've been a member since 2017 renewing my membership every year which gave me "Peace of Mind" in-case I ever needed help on LKN. Today was the 1st time I've ever needed to use my membership. There is only one word that can fully describe the "AMAZING" Customer-Service, Care for my well-being, Communication, Promptness, politeness along with excellent follow-up I received today... My experience was absolutely.. "SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALODOCIOUS"!!
SeaDoo broke down on my son and we called TowBoat US. They helped us so much. Suggested we get an insurance claim opened, promptly showed up the next morning and towed it to the service company we selected. Sent photos and text updates every step of the way. Spoke with the service company and arranged the drop off. Robert made sure that everything was handled and I didn't have to worry about a thing!

A BIG, BIG THANK YOU to Captain Derek DeBord and TowBoatUS Lake Norman for helping our family out of a tight spot. On Sat. June 16th our 22 yr. old son was out on our boat on Lake Norman with some friends snd was suddenly taken ill. Luckily he got the boat back to our slip but I had to take him immediately to the ER. My husband was overseas and our son’s friends had no boating experience so I had no one to take care of securing and covering the boat. I called TowBoatUS Lake Norman, which we joined last August and Derek without hestitation responded to secure our boat, put the boat on the lift and got it covered properly. This assistance went well beyond their normal services and we are most grateful. Derek and his staff certainly demonstrated that they are very caring members of the Lake Niorman community.
Derek was amazing. This guy came out in the middle of the night and saved our ass when we couldn’t start our boat. We couldn’t access our ignition system and he had a screw driver and was super patient and helped up get our boat started again. This guy is amazing and I’d reccomend to anyone and everyone who owns a boat.
Thursday January 11th, 2018 We found out our 30'sailboat had sunk and was sitting on its keel in Lake Norman. With the weather being in the teens and myself being sick with the flu, I didn’t need the added stress of trying to find the problem and trying to pump the water out, with a hope that I could raise the boat on my own.
I contacted Towboat U.S. and Derek was so very helpful, and was ready to get our situation under control immediately. We have been through a lot these last couple of weeks with our house being burned to the ground on New Year’s Eve and now the boat. Derek even went as far as to invest in two brand new pumps in addition to the other pumps the team had already brought to help win the battle of raising my boat. Derek and his team did not disappoint. You could absolutely see where his experience came in to play. Most folks think this will never happen to them but if this does, I can very highly recommend Towboat U.S. to come save the day.
