This will be where I start coming anytime I come down here. I come to Baxter alot, parked here for tonight the man working at 9 still allowed me to come in and buy some things. Plenty of parking as well and they have a scale.
Amazing little mom & pop. Offers free overnight parking, plenty of snacks and drinks, $10 showers, trailer washouts and $10 for a scale (which the incredible owner will personally come outside to help you adjust your tandems!). All this including a beautiful view of the mountains. Can’t beat it!
Love this place, except for slow weak t mobile service it's awesome. First off, may i say thank you for being helpful.
Now for the cry babies in vans and campers, it's great you can't park here, you all take up spots for truck parking at other truck stops and you don't have a clock to be on, we do and when we have to park there you are in a spot we truckers need, go find a Koa or camp site and quit your crying.
Nice for a mom & pop shop. Nice people. Showers are available. Overnight parking is available. The hours posted in Google Maps are correct. That's why I only gave 4 stars. A port-a-potty would be nice. There are no restaurants in the area, so there are no restrooms after hours. It's a good, quiet place to park if you're short on hours before or after picking up at Baxter. Weak to no internet.
Great little Mom and Pop Truck Stop. They carry a pretty wide variety of beverages and snacks. Reasonable prices. I used the trailer washout service. It was excellent and reasonably priced as well. They have a certified scale as well. Pretty quiet and have some views of the mountains and the river.
Absolutely love this place, friendly everytime I go here. And the burgers are amazing. Lots of truck parking, restroom and showers. Quit, I slept like a baby
I used to drive for a company. N we would pick up from across the street. I could say there is NOTHING WRONG w this ts. People are nice. Just not take your money n rush ya out the door. As some places do.Love the big open parking lot for big trucks. I wish it had / showers. But that is OK. The management was always nice to me. N I was nice to them. Don't go to the " Big name ts". They won't give ya the welcome n thank you for stopping. My #1 ts. If in the area.
Awesome place. Awesome people. Truck scale only $10. I was picking up across the street at Baxter and went there for a washout ($35) then returned to scale and the guy that was working seen I was over weight on my tandems told me to move it one hole and I was good he pulled the pin for me and told me when to stop then reweighed. He was jus super helpful. Much appreciated. Nice size lot for Truck parking. They even offered me coffee while getting washed put. Really impressed with this place
Awesome place for a shower $7.00, quick bite, scale $10.00, trailer washout $35.00. Across the street from Baxter Healthcare. Michael was a super great help with everything. I always plan on spending the night here, quiet and safe. Thanks again Michael !
We had a bit of an issue with our pallet. Called in and got Michael. HE WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL. I've been in the business for 7 years and have never met anyone that is so willing and ready to help. Thank you so much Michael. If we are ever in the area again, I will make sure to reach out.
Super friendly staff every time I've been here. Had to get a trailer washout, no waiting, grabbed a couple of hot dogs to eat, they were a great change. Shower is only $7, great price if you have to pay. I was able to park overnight for no charge, not sure what they may charge. Beautiful scenery, not like most truck stops. Only drawback is that it's a little dusty on the yard. Considering all the good stuff about this place, I can deal with it. Also, drinks and snacks that are available are very reasonably priced. Great little spot to do business if you are in the area.
First time here guy washing out the trailer pretty cool dude. I try their food. Pulled pork and burger are really good and tasty. Great price. They have 2 showers didn’t use them but I would definitely come back for their food if I’m in the area.
Finally! A truck stop that's literally just for trucks. They will kick you out if you're coming to park here in your camper/rv/van. Use a campground!

If you got a pretty nasty trailer, if you delivered some meat or something and it was leaky for example, the cost is a little bit more.

Had no problems with the employees. Came over here to park. Loading up across the street at Baxter medical, which is what most of the people here are doing. The truck stop is the waiting area while they load your trailer.
The parking lot is an unmarked gravel style lot off a not very busy state highway. Entrance is at the traffic light.
They have some hot food. They make the burgers and hot dogs to order and you load the toppings yourself. Lettuce, tomato, onion etc.
For truckers-
Tiny little convenience store, night guy was friendly and washed out our trailer. Sign says open 24 hours, but they close at 11 and open at 7. Isolated so only a few trucks there, no bright lights, very quiet. Slept great! They do have showers, but we didn't use them.

The perfect truckstop if you are coming and going for Baxter health, which is across the street. Nestled in the valley between two mountains in the idyllic smokey mountain range, this truckstop offers most conveniences, but does close after hours and on weekends.
Great little spot. Big lot to park in. Good burgers an hotdogs. Has a place to sit an watch tv. The scales are now 10 dollars an not 8. Cash only after 11pm
Closed on the weekends ??? Otherwise just a big dirt lot for parking. ***** that they're closed as in the last 2 hours I've been here, they lost business to about 20 truckers and 5 cars and 2 rvs. Baxter health products is open every day, so lots of truck traffic and this place is missing on a lot of business.
From the outside it looks closed and abandoned but it isn’t. The brown brick building has a trucker lounge, showers and plenty of snacks and assorted food and items to buy. They have a microwave, tv sitting area. Scales are $9.00. They also have a trailer washout. Scales are open after hours but you have to fill out a card to pay. They are closed after 11pm. The parking area is gravel but they maintained almost daily
GREAT BURGER AND HOT DOGS!! VERY CLEAN SHOWERS!! ALSO HAVE A SITTING AREA WHERE YOU CAN WATCH TV AND A WEIGHT SCALE WITH TRUCK PARKING.. NICE VIEW OF THE MOUNTAINS
