This is the worst. I arrived about 310pm, no signage telling you where or what to do, I found other vehicles so I got in line waited about 30 minutes before I went to the warehouse to be told that I had to go to the scale to be weighed. I go to the scale attendant Kayleigh Johnston and I asked her one question why didn't someone come out and tell me to go to the scale instead of waiting line. She said that I saw you in the camera you didn't wait that long. I told her I arrived at 310pm and someone should have came out to tell me to the scale, she then got very rude and raised her voice and do you want get off the property, I said to her it should be a more efficient way than to sit and wait 30 minutes instead addressing the problem she asked for my license took my license looked at me rolled eyes and said go back there and pointed to where to go to get unloaded and slammed the door. She acted like she was doing me a favor and all I was doing was clearing some junk out of my yard. When I came back to get reweighed I asked her name she said I've ready talked to her manager . I will not go back there, I'll take it the land fill and unloaded myself, forgot the pennies that I sold it for.
Probably good for selling scrap metal, however their website says that they sell metal and they do not. I went there looking to purchase a piece of scrap metal for a project but got turned away.
I have used these folks for years before the name change. Now, you must stack your 2"wide x 3" tall x 4" long batteries on a pallet instead of just throwing them in a bin. I had 220-250 batteries and they wanted me to stack them on a pallet. I drove to TT&En garner and they unloaded them for me. No way this place ever gets another piece of metal from me. It was 950 pounds of batteries and my next load was 660 pounds of top shelf aluminum. Go to TT&E and wait in line about 10 -20 minutes. Much better service. Never again
Before renew came and took over this was the best place to take my scrap for many years. On May 6,2025 Julian and one other Hispanic person treated me like dirt. I’ll drive 20 extra minutes before I ever go there again. Until he is there no more me and all 25 of our scrapers will not return. Absolutely insane and unprofessional.
This used to be a place where you could recycle metals around the house. I would give zero stars if possible. This place has changed owners and the service was a mess and took way too long.
Big note- they no longer accept aluminum cat food cans!
I'm not trying to make a living on recycling things around the house -but I try to keep certain items from going to the landfill- these folks just don't care about the environment!
I will not do business with this place again.
They've closed down the front weigh-in station, they make you weigh in at the back of the plant dump your stuff way out again and then circle back around through all the metal trash and redo your copper recycling to do all this you have to drive through a huge amount of spiky metal objects in the ground. they've made it a horrible place to do recycling and above all that they put 'jesus loves you" on the checks which is discussingly inappropriate! Just go to TT&E this place isn't worth it anymore.....
Be very aware of you are a trucker picking up here for a broker. I arrived on premises, informed that I'd be picking up palletized and binned clean metals. They were filthy bales. They loaded me wrong, 37050 over on trailer axels at bridge law legal for states I had to travel through and refused to rework my load to be legal. I was cussed at, told they would not do any adjustments, argues with my company owner on phone for a good 15 minutes. Then the product was pulled off my trailer and nd then they left my trailer a big mess for me to have to clean out. Horrible horrible customer.
Twice I have been left with less than my scrap weight. Let's say we showed up with 1100 lbs per the scale and when leaving we were paid 400lbs short. And out of respect we gave them a chance to make it right with no way of doing so.
Guy on the machine could stop and help take away their dryers and such but could stop for a second to help me with a heavy fridge, dryer and freezer. Ended up unloading all of my truck and trailer by myself. One of the worst experiences I have had, they are usually good but not sure what was going on today.
This is my favorite place to sell scrap metal the employees are always nice and friendly usually it's pretty easy to go in and out in just a few moment for their prices are always fair
Every time we come here they make us go some where different to bring the paper work y’all need to try get it together and make it one place where u bring your paperwork not 3 different spots this is bs I have a shop to run to be doing all this back an fourth
