Purchase a flatbed from Eastern Wrecker Sales a couple months ago. I've driven it a total of maybe 2 weeks and have had tons of PTO problems. It's been sitting in the shop longer than I have been able to use it. Eastern Wrecker Sales said it's not their problem and I need to contact Jerrdan. After sitting at the shop for a couple months I gave up and purchase a PTO myself. When I got underneath the truck I noticed the harness was melted because they did not properly route the wires that could have led to a PTO failure. So as I'm replacing the harness I noticed that they did not ground the harness properly either as it says right on The wire. See attached photos Update to their response: They had me talk to the tech who built the truck and all he said is that it's not his fault and said it was a ford issue on the truck side. After months of it sitting at the shop I purchased my own $3500 PTO out of pocket, replaced the harness they improperly hooked up and the truck runs perfectly. No compensation offered, no response to my emails.

I have been dealing with the service department for many years now. Carl is beyond amazing and helpful every time we need something for our trucks!

Had a hooklift upfitted by them on a 2021 F750. They are a good upfitter, no install issues. When issues arise on the hooklift, the service dept & techs always take the time to help solve my issues as I am 700mi away. Top knotch company!

Scott in the parts department went over and beyond to offer exceptional service. He had the parts that we needed in stock and had them delivered to us quickly and all at a good price. This is a refreshing experience after dealing with other rollback and wrecker parts dealers in the past. Scott is our new go to guy for parts! We highly recommend these guys. Thanks again Scott!

Bought my 1st truck from this company & I must say it was a painless experience....This guy Mack was such a help. When my wife & I flew in to pick up the truck Mack was already there at the airport waiting on us. I really appreciated that. Drove the truck back home over 1200 miles with no issues. I really wanted to rate this place high, I believe Holly has integrity and was truly doing her best to get me a good deal and that I was getting a truck that would meet my goals. After reading the other reviews here I believe the problem is with the garage manager Ashley. I am a Marine getting ready to retire and was in the market for a used box truck. To close the deal there was several things that need to be done including making sure everything was fully functional. Specific things I required to be repaired, the AC, the dome light, the warning panel, cleaning up some rust and fixing the side door so weather couldn't get in. At this point I can say at least the paint covering the rust hasn't fallen off yet. Upon picking the truck up I was told that the mechanics had test drive it and everything was good to go, then the dome light fell out, I figured no big deal someone just forgot to put the screws back in it, I had to get on the road, a two hour trip back home and I had an important meeting I had to get to. A few minutes later an alarm buzzer and light came on from the warning panel that was supposed to be fixed, two minutes later the air ride seat started to noticeably sink, then the ac stopped blowing cold air. Later that night I found out no interior lights work, including the dome light that was supposedly fixed. A week or two later the oil is leaking, I take it in to a reputable place, rear main is leaking, the truck that was supposed to have been recently serviced was way over filled with oil, so was the transmission. The guys were surprised the oil pump didn't also go dry from "foaming". So as for getting any of this resolved over the last month the first thing I received upon reporting the first few issues was an unhelpful email from Ashley, then I asked Holly if anyone would be interested in coming down and making some money fixing some of the issues, Ashley was supposed to get in touch with someone to make it happen, it didn't. When the oil leak happened I could tell Holly was feeling bad, when she asked if the guy came down to get the other stuff fixed and I told her no she seemed rather upset, she then got Ashley in touch with me, Ashley is certain the over filled oil could have nothing to do with the leak and additionally informed me that over filling the oil or transmission fluid was just fine and would cause no problems. At this point I don't know what to say, if you are sure you won't have to trust that the garage is telling the truth about the condition, working order or repairs they have done than you should have no cause for concern, Holly is very helpful. If you have to deal with the ethically challenged garage manager go anywhere else, it will be a better choice. Lastly I think I am forgetting several other things such as the slice in the side wall of one of the back tires but this should provide enough info to make a choice. Good luck! Update 1: Eastern Wrecker wants to make things right, I am impressed with the responsiveness of the leadership there once they got involved. I have to get some paperwork fixed as there is three different VINs listed on various documents, once I can get a verification and settle some other issues I will update. Moving them up from one star to three, hopefully on the way too 5. UPDATE 2 They made things right, no hassle. 5 stars for the Worden, Chris and Holly.

This morning I needed to get a truck looked at without an appointment in there service department. Ashley, Carl, Daryl and Eric where quick to help get the issue found and corrected and me and the truck to our customer pick up on time. Thanks to somebhreat folks at Eastern Wrecker Sales.

Get your services done elsewhere. For the most part they are nice people, but have bad practice for business when it comes to repairs. I picked up a trailer (car carrier) recently that had a blown hydraulic line on it. They told me they could get that done for me, "they do them all the time." Well when I went back to pick up the trailer they wanted to charge me initially 12hrs labor, after talking with them they took it down to 8 hrs. Anybody that has experience with hydraulic repair knows that it is a 1-2 hr job depending on main or secondary lines. This should have been a 1 hr job but they put the fitting on the hose prior to running it through the channels which led to the excessive labor charge, and also the job being done incorrect. When I told them what I normally pay for a hydraulic line the mechanic basically called me a liar. Stating that if someone could replace a hydraulic line on that trailer in an hour he'd like to see it and he'd give them his paycheck.

My name is Steve Johnson, I'm from the state of Iowa, recently purchased ( August 5, 2015) a 2012 F550 Carrier from Eastern Wrecker Sales. I was told the truck had been inspected and was road ready. We had it transported to Iowa. The truck was driven 1100 miles which of those miles only towed 15 cars before the motor blew. I contacted the salesman at Eastern Wrecker, He told me there was nothing the company could do. I offered to trade the truck in and purchase a Brand new Carrier from them, however they stated they did not want the truck back. I now have $49,500.00 truck, my business cannot run at this time until we have a new motor installed, at a cost of $12,000.00. I would not recommend Eastern Wrecker Sales to anyone, I understand I purchased a used Vehicle, which I had for less than 30 days. I truly believe they were aware of the problem, as they transported the vehicle per carrier rather then haven it driven to us. Sincerely, Steve Johnson All Pro Towing Iowa

Dont buy anything from these guys they will sell you a truck with a blown headgasket and tell you ''OH WELL'' less then a week later.15000 down the hole another 7k in repairs thanks eastern wrecker for screwing me over intentionally.
