Only giving two stars because of the very nice woman who answers the phone and the employees that work in the shop. One of the older gentleman (did not catch his name) is very disrespectful and did not want to take the time to listen to what I had to say about what I needed, very dismissive about everything. Can't speak on the quality of work they do because the pricing was a tad bit outrageous when I can get it done cheaper elsewhere (yes I had quotes already) - they were just the only ones who had an opening today to look at it because I wanted instant gratification and did not want to wait. Maybe you'll have better luck than I did but I wouldn't bring anything out of the norm.
Traveling from Florida to New Jersey when my truck broke down. Rodney was nice enough to come to the parking lot where we broke down. He was so nice and helpful. You can really feel how genuine he is and the care he has for his customers.

These folks are super to deal with as they are there to solve problems - correctly. I needed new tires for a trailer to pick up a pallet an hour away, as one of the existing tires was dry rotted. They had them in stock and got them right on. Not only that, but they noticed I didn't have a spare. They looked for and found a used rim that would fit. Awesome! ?
Had an issue with a piece of plastic striking the under part of my car on a long trip to Florida. Pulled into Wood and an older gentleman stopped what he was doing and went under the care and found the issue and resolved it. Didn't want to take any money, but I insisted on giving him $100 for just being awesome. You do not see this type of service or people much anymore and this was a breath of fresh air for us.

These guys really got me put of a pickle of a situation. Moving from one state to another up the east coast when my 2000 Excursion threw a spark plug.
I was able to nurse it to the shop and they got me fixed up within 24 hours.
(That's saying a lot when you realize how many shops will take days)
I really appreciate them having the time to fit my truck into their already scheduled work.

Woods does a phenomenal job with customer service and care for your vehicle. I had an issue with my car I could not figure out, Ron and the guys and woods did a great job running diagnostics and addressing the issue. Honest, hardworking service with lots of experience, these guys absolutely have my business.
Clifton's had highly recommended Wood's for repairs that I needed being that I was from out of town and stranded in the area. They were highly professional, found the problem right away and handled it in a very timely manner. They quoted me what it would cost and held to their quote. They did not rip me off at all, and I even had my dad (who is a former body shop mechanic) look at the work when I got back and he was complementing their work. I had a great discussion with the owner too when I got there to pick up my truck, and felt like I had been there several times before. If I ever was in the area and needed them to service my vehicle again, or even pass through and feel like I need them to look at something, I would stop there in a heartbeat. You couldn't ask for better service. They made sure I could get home safely a few hours away!!!
I have been dealing with them for years. Great for any type of car repair. You will not find a better place to buy tires. They even fixed my AC. They stand behind their work. Ronald and Danny are honest and care about their customers.

I was driving from VA Beach, VA to Charleston, SC when I got a flat tire driving on I-95 South. My vehicle was towed to Wood Tire & Muffler Shop in the middle of the night. We had to stay in a hotel overnight. I received a call from Mr. Wood first thing in the morning telling me the issue with the tire and how he could fix it. I was back on the road within an hour. Mr. Wood was very professional and courteous. The price for the new tire was reasonable. Thank you Mr. Wood.
Me and my family broke down and when I came here and they were very helpful and helped us to get back on the road in a short period of time I highly recommend this place to anyone
Had been to Duke hospital and was going to head home to South Carolina and the car was acting up. We had it looked at and we thought repaired before we made the trip but it still was causing concerns.
They checked it out and repaired it within 3 hrs and we were headed home. Such a blessing that they were willing to help us out.
I had driven 120 miles to meet someone for lunch. I felt like my car could be overheating because I had a problem a month ago with a hose needing replacement then. I explained my concern and Todd checked it out, added a bit of water and told me he couldn't see anything wrong.
He reassured me and I drove the 120 miles back home with no problem.
I'm so impressed that they took the time to check for me and didn't charge me anything.

After flying into RDU and having the most tiring morning all I wanted to do was drive home (we live in pender county) so we had at least an hour and a half drive home. And of course car trouble happened. We stopped at a rest area and just googled a place and came across Wood’s muffler and auto. And let me tell you thank god we did! I called and they told me to come right over and they had us in and out in 20 mins. They were all so nice and respectful. It’s too bad I don’t live closer cause this would be the only place I go to if I could!! If you want great work done and amazing southern hospitality and respect then this is the place!!
I would recommend this shop to anyone who needs a repair on their vehicle! Everyone is very friendly and they are the most honest and transparent mechanics I’ve ever met. These guys are knowledgeable and the prices are very fair. I will be coming back for any future repairs I’ll need.

Broke down on way from CT to Florida. Was at their shop by 730 Monday morning and they got me in right away. Was back on the road by 9am. Awesome service. Saved the day. Thanks guys!!
I’m horrible with names so I apologize but I’ve had 4 different vehicles over the years that I’ve had exhaust work done to. 2 were very basic jobs, nothing special and 2 were custom jobs. One of the owners came out and talked with me and described what he could do in great detail. For someone that is not very mechanically inclined I really appreciated that. I used to live a few miles from the shop, I now live 45 miles from it but will continue to drive that distance. If they’ve been in business for 40+ years, they must be doing something right. I would highly recommend them.
We spent the night in Benson bc our truck was experiencing a problem. The next morning husband took it over to Wood's when they opened. They diagnosed and repaired the problem quickly. The cost was less than expected. My husband said they were friendly and helpful. We were back on the road by 10am.
Was quoted a $200 fix, went to pick up and pay and was charged for $550 due to them having issues they ran into. They failed to call and ask if they could proceed with the work and never discussed any extra charges. It was a surprise to me when I went up there to pay the $200 I was quoted and was told I needed to pay $350 more than expected. Will never do business with this shop again. It’s a law that they can’t charge more than 10% of what was quoted but unfortunately that’s a law they don’t abide by.
Our alternator blew on our way down 95. It was scary as all the lights started to blink on our car. We are so grateful for finding Woods. Not only were they willing to squeeze us in but they didn't over charge and keptbus informed as things were uncovered.

This is a muffler shop and they run a mini storage I take it from the title, these guys r great two brothers that r pretty identical, they r very knowledgeable they don't want to sell u anything u don't need and will take time to really make sure you are happy with what u get and that they can do quality work
