Very quaint and friendly community. It's truly beautiful and has a small park that's great for smaller children. The community is extremely friendly everyone waves even if they don't know you. It sits on the water front with a spectacular view and mostly everyone owns a golf cart to drive around the neighborhood with. Be mindful the speed limit is around 15 mph and there are lots of children and pets around.
Love the little park down here. I played here as a kiddo, back when they still had concrete benches. And now both of my children get to play here. It’s changed so much but at the same time not at all. My only complaint would be to have public trash and/or recycling receptacles out here. If you don’t have pockets, it’s hard to keep ahold of your trash, and it oft gets windy on the river! I feel like they used to have some trash cans, but idk… lol. Adding older pics because I haven’t taken any out there in awhile. In one pic you can see the old concrete benches. Also, the dolphin swing is no longer in service- it retired lol. At least the last several times I’ve done, they’ve replaced them with newer swings, and as a result, Mr. Dolphin is no more. [Unless he will make a reappearance? Idk!] My daughter loved him. It’s all and well though— she’d be too big for it now! These pics are from the same day. They love to stay out as long as humanly possible- especially now that they’re older. They will play past dark if you let them, heh.
This is beautiful but not Beach. No swimming as the water is dirty. More of a loading dock but between the swings, beautiful peers, the hilarious flopping fish jumping around and the playground for children it is definitely a relaxing, beautiful area.
Had a great time here with my family. Will definitely be back. Water was great but if you're are looking for sand there is none. The locals are really nice and friendly. Most of the area is private property except for the swimming area, sandbox, and there's a small play area for younger children. If you're looking for a day to get away and relax and enjoy a swim this is it.
