Friday is a dead day. Arrived at 9 and only a few stalls open. I guess Saturday is more populated. ??♀️. May try again.

So much fun. Lots of friendly local vendors with a large variety of bargains. Come hunt you may just find what you wanted needed or thought you had to have.

Smiley’s Flea Market is a place you don’t come to just to shop — you come for the feeling. From the very first minute, you sense an atmosphere of warmth, movement, and genuinely kind people all around. The vendors are open, friendly, always smiling, and each table comes with its own story. It’s easy to strike up a conversation, share a laugh, and feel right at home. The variety is impressive — you can find absolutely everything here, from vintage and rare items to useful little things, gifts, décor, and unexpected treasures that delight you precisely because you weren’t looking for them. Every aisle feels like a small adventure. This market is alive and real, without rush or pretension. It’s about people, connection, and the joy of simple things. Smiley’s Flea Market is a place you want to return to again and again, because you’re welcomed with warmth and leave with a smile — and something special in your hands and in your heart. And yes — you can truly find treasures here if you look not only with your eyes, but with your soul ?

Now this is a very big flea market, and they have lots of brick and mortar shops there too.And restaurants. We got there a little late this day.Cause it closes at 3 PM on Saturdays.I suggest you get there very early on saturday morning , so you can see all the tables and all the vendors.

I wasn’t sure if I was still in the US. There were very few people that spoke English and most of the items for sale was a bunch of junk. Very disappointing!

This is one of my favorite flea markets to attend. I drive all the way from Knoxville , Tennessee , because it's that great. You can literally spend hours there enjoying all the wares. Also check out the restaurants with authentic.Latino food. Never disappointed and always come home with treasures. Make sure you arrive pretty early because they roll up the sidewalks around one o'clock.

My husband shopped. There is something for everyone here at the flea market. You just have to be willing to walk and look for it. It’s always a fun time.

From SC made a trip of it kids loved it, very nice was an actual flea market instead of everyone trying to just resale

Won't be back. If you want mexican spices, it's a great place. Other than that, forget it.

Most favorite place to go on the weekends. Tons of great finds and cute little stores. Highly suggest coming here.

What's better than a flea market? Free entry and parking. Great selection of different items. Bought some cargo shorts and some coins. If I had space in my suitcase would have got some sneakers too.

I really do enjoy walking this place. Even if you don't buy anything it's entertaining and good exercise. And unlike going to a major store, for most of the people you will get better customer service and better pricing. For me customer service is a huge thing.

If you’re going to sell things you are trying to clean out; tools, smalls; artwork, get there early to get a few tables. Very affordable.

The flea market is laid out a little wonky. There are several mexican restaurants and even a meat market with fresh fish, tongue, steak etc. Lots of fresh vegetables and vendors with unique items.

They are huge. Had delicious Mexican food. Meat market, beauty shop, fresh vegetables and plants. Almost all the tables had the same new items for sale. No yard sale or nice used items. Not even a variety of new items. Not the Smileys I remember!

How would I describe the restroom facilities? My response to that is that is the one and only issue I had during my visit at Smiley's flea market was actually involving the restroom. I am extremely thankful that the lady employee was cleaning the bathrooms however she had one side shut completely down for a good 10-12 minutes that I did stand in line. the open side had 13 ladies ahead of me waiting in line when I told the worker who was on her phone via blue tooth that I could not hold it as I walked over her cleaning sign and into a stall she said" excuse me ma'am can you not read the sign clearly says that this side is closed for cleaning"I said with all due respect there's 13 people ahead of me and I'm going to use the bathroom on myself if I do not go to the bathroom right now, I do apologize that I had to interrupt your cleaning /telephone time however there would have been a larger messier mess that would have had to of been cleaned up had I not of came into the stall to prevent from urinating all over myself. I truly apologize and I hope you understand that I just could not hold it. The lady rolled her eyes and about that time a man came across the walkie-talkie she had on her hip and told her that he told her to keep both lanes open because the ladies line was rather long. I feel as if that woman could have been a lot nicer to me as I do know how to read which is the reason why I got her attention and apologized to her cause I couldn't hold it anymore. Maybe instead of closing down the lanes at 12:00 lunch you could redo your cleaning schedule hours to accommodate customers a bit better. And to the older lady who was cleaning the bathrooms and asked me if I could read honey if you're that miserable at your job just quit your strong quality does not include working with the public. You embarrassed me for having to use the restroom. And you belittled me by asking if I could read while I was apologizing to you. Shame on you!!!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I came to sell homemade treats to raise money for bereaved families to get urns for their lost loved ones. After driving around for 30 minutes to try to find parking, searching for a space for another 30 minutes and setting up a staff member came by (in front of customers mind you) and immediately had an attitude staring to raise his voice telling me “you can’t sell those here. Sell them somewhere off property but not here.” I thought he was joking at first and asked if he was serious and he goes “no, you can’t sell those here” so I packed up and left. Now mind you I had my table open for 10 MINUTES! Absolutely NOWHERE on their website does it say vendors CAN NOT sell homemade treats/food outside. Looking around there were SEVERAL other vendors selling food & treats. I was NOT the only one. The ONLY difference between me & other sellers were that I had rainbow hair & I am Caucasian. This kind of rude behavior was completely unnecessary and could have been handled a lot better!! I was hoping to be a repeat vendor and eventually rent an indoor booth but this experience has completely changed that. I won’t be returning.

Fun place to walk around and look. Yummy food options and plenty of parking in the back.

A whole lot of mass produced plastic and clothing. I bought veggies and a skateboard deck. The flea was about a third full or two thirds empty depending on how you look at it. Some vendors had decent things but the value was not there. Others had straight garbage and wanted retail prices for broken and worn out items.

Smiley’s was recommended to me by a resident of Henersonville. I really enjoy flea markets, yard sales and second hand stores. So I went on Saturday morning of Mother’s Day weekend to check it out. I was really lucky to find a parking spot near the road. I walked around, but I was somewhat disappointed in the offerings of the vendors. There were very few vendors that grabbed my attention - a lot of what they had spread out seemed like leftovers from a garage sale. Some of the prices were a little high, which I get as they build in room for negotiating, but still. And many of the indoor shops and stores were closed and many outdoor tables were empty. Perhaps I didn’t time my visit right. It was a neat experience as there were a lot of people watching and listening to do, but I wouldn’t revisit Smiley’s if I were back in the area.

Pretty desolate. Maybe it’s a summer thing? Went April 1 and there seemed Rob be hardly anyone there and none of the lights were on inside the building area. Honestly sketched us out a bit.

I only went to La Michoacana. It was so good. When I'm in the area I will be stopping again. Sopa de res and homemade corn tortillas.

Smileys Flea Market is great. A ton of venders with a large variety of items. Many different authentic Mexican dishes to try. The street corn in a cup and fresh fruits with chili powder are amazing.

Shed booths that cost $$ are not maintained. Wasps, floors gone, and the roofs leak. Besides that when selling those areas see way, way fewer customers. Would give them less than a star if I could. Told we can repair the floor if we wanted to with our materials. Asked them three times to spray for the wasps and they came with a can in broad daylight and spray drifted onto our baby sale items. Last day of contract we moved to the garage sale tables and were told by the manager we would have to pay more money for their problem, we left. Will avoid this place in the future if they are this dishonest.

You could get lost in here. Good mexican food. Nice vendors. It's a rough crowd sometimes but makes the experience worth it. 5 stars because to me it's like diving into a different world.

This place is an amazing place to look for deals on fresh produce and authentic Mexican food and used items. Ignore all the negative comments. Its called a flea market not a WalMart, so if your looking for brand spanken new stuff this might not be the place for you. From time to time there are things that are brand new or barely used. There are people from all backgrounds, not just Mexicans, as others claim and who are you to judge Somones legal status. The parking can get hectic at times but it usually because of the fact that everyone decides to come all at once and not to mention newcomers who don't know how things go. Overall a good friendly atmosphere, and some people there tend to be rude as you can tell from some of these reviews. Come check it out yourself
