I wouldn't even give a one star. He was suppose to replace our motor. 2 motors later, my husband's truck still isn't fixed. It has been a nightmare for a year now. He will lie to you, and avoid you at all costs. Please go somewhere else for work done on your vehicles. I wish we had.

I went to this place out of convenience because I was staying with my friend up the street. Reluctantly I had to get my tires rotated because the one was put on wrong from a different mechanics shop. I also needed an oil change because I was going to be driving a long distance the next day. I have an 08 Ford escape and it takes 5 quarts of oil. When I got to my destination I decided to check my oil and found out that it was 1 qt short of being full. My vehicle never leaks oil. So I have figured out that they ripped me off a quart of oil and charged me $85 to boot and I don't even think they use synthetic oil because I have high mileage. They didn't even ask. And they tried to charge me $100 because of turning the one tire around. After they quoted me 85. I would never go to the shop because they do try to rip women off in particular I feel. Shame on you worley automotive. I would have given it one star if I wasn't conveniently located.

The son DJ told me i needed a cam seal and head gasket when the leak is where the transmission and engine meet. They charged me 750.00 and when i had another Automotive shop look at it after they did the job, he told me that the only bolts that showed removal was the top of the engine (head gasket). The also did not want to give me a receipt and after giving me i had to ask for a signature too. When i looked at the receipt when i left i saw that they didn't put what i originally was told i was paying for. The mechanic that i had look at my vehicle after said the amount put down did not match what they did either. I went to the courts and put a judgement against them!

Worley Automotive is the BEST automotive shop in the area! I have the story to prove it.... The day before I was supposed to leave on a vacation to Belize my car's "All Wheel Drive" (AWD) light came on. I knew I had to get this checked before driving to the Charlotte Airport, so I began calling different shops, and A&D Garage had an opening that day. After a 2-hour wait I was told that my car's differential was completely shot, new parts needed to be ordered, and it was unsafe to drive home. For context- I'm a recent college graduate with no car knowledge- but even I knew this wasn't right. I asked for my keys, drove home and was later given a quote of $2,800 dollars to "fix" the issue. A total SCAM! This is where the story takes a happy turn :) I live just down the street from Worley Automotive and after their incredible service I will be a lifelong customer. Worley Automotive not only properly diagnosed my car but they picked it up from my apartment and fixed it while I was on vacation. That way it would be ready by the time I got back! If that's not the most exceptional customer service I don't know what is. In addition to being incredibly kind, Dennis and the rest of the staff are extremely experienced and transparent- which is a rare find in the automotive industry. Unlike A&D Garage, Dennis had the knowledge, expertise and integrity to assess and fix my car. The total was $350. I truly can't thank them enough! If you live anywhere near the area you will never find a more trustworthy place to take your car than Worley Automotive. Thank you again so much Dennis! ~Emma (from Franklin Farm Rd)

I recommend this shop for all your automotive needs. Full service shop. A+ DJ is an amazing soul. That truly cares about you and not just emptying your pocket. Hard to find family and church values in a business anymore. And glad I found Worley Automotoive

I took my 07 GMC Yukon to Worleys for lifter replacement which requires the cylinder heads to be removed. The book says about 12 hours labor. There were also parts that are recommended replacement such as head bolts which I supplied ALL the parts. The head bolts were not replaced. Also a water pump was replaced and leaked before I drove the truck twenty miles. After a 125$ tow truck bill back to the shop...they stated I gave them a defective water pump saying the weep hole was leaking. This particular pump does not have a weep hole.I discovered a stripped water pump bolt as the problem. Yes it can happen I understand. But as a mechanic by trade for over 40 years I would have never released a vehicle without first insuring the work was correct by doing a test drive and being honest with my customers. A transmission service and engine oil change was suppose to be done..Parts and oil was also supplied...these oil changes were not done. All the supplied parts that were not installed nor they returned to me. Also they broke a tire pressure sensor while changing tires that I was billed for. Actually..I couldnt tell you what I was charged for...I never received an actual bill. I paid 2800$ for some shade tree work and ended up doing some of the work myself...which I should have done in the first place! Sorry guys you wont get another dime from me.

This is the best and most reliable repair shop I have ever found. It is family-owned and operated from the front desk to the shop. I love the work ethic and superb mechanical knowledge Dennis Sr has instilled in his children and employees. Though I have since moved, I travel across town to continue having my cars serviced there. I have highly recommended them to extended family and friends to rave reviews from them all. Be prepared to probably be greeted by name on your second of hopefully many visits as the years pass.

HORRIBLE guy, he's a thief and a will take all your money and give you your car back worse then it already was. He lies about everything and you would be better off repairing it yourself in your backyard with a peice of fried chicken and a rake and it would come out better than what he would do. If I could give him a worse rating I would.

I had tires and an alignment done on my hot rod I love driving it more now than ever before . Dj and his wife are the best !

This is one awesome family owned shop! Excellent work, very fair prices. It's one of those places you could send your grandparents to and know they're in good hands.

Had a little tire problem from a screw that got lodged in the tire while travelling and was referred to this shop. Brought it up and these guys dropped everything and handled it in 5 minutes. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Good to see a place where service is top notch like that! I appreciate you all for the help!

Dennis found the power steering leak in my car, did the repair for a good price, and got the car running great again. He even offered me a ride home while I waited. I would highly recommend their services.

Over $1600 worth of work that was supposed to be done, including ball joints and a water pump. Also said the track bar was bad and universal joints were bad. After truck was "finished", it still had the same problems. Had another mechanic look at it and he said that none of the work that was paid for had been done. Still had the original track bar and water pump. One of the ball joints was actually welded! Don't get scammed by this shop!

Took my car there last November and paid $500 up front, now 10 months later and I STILL DON"Y HAVE MY CAR!!!!!! Deadlines have been promised, broken and they gave me bologna for months. I saw my car the other day, with the way it looks after being in their lot all of this time I don't want it back. I realize I have no other recourse but to start a law suit claim for money and value of the car. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE E V E R!!!

Best mechanics around for the best price. Ask for DJ to work on your stuff but really everyone there is just great. Extremely thorough and pays close attention to the little things and makes sure every detail you tell him is addressed and taken care of. He usually will give the courtesy of figuring out exactly what the problem/issues are and then calling the customer to explain said problems and make sure everyone has an understanding before the repair takes place. We all hate it when our cars gives us trouble but it's nice to know we have someone we can trust when it comes to fixing em. Thanks to all the friendly staff there.

Took my 1995 Honda in because it was leaking water they charged 225.00 to replace radiator hose! It was still leaking water, and my heater was not working properly it only came out on Defrost.brought it back at least 3 times! I had to keep putting water in then it overheated and destroyed the motor. I spoke with at least 7 people who told me their cars were destroyed after they brought it their. One said their car still sitting in the lot. Looks like a junkyard of poor peoples cars and trucks lost to them! They are crooks!

If I could give them negative stars I would. I took my car in to simply replace the tires and repair some minor damage. The mechanic took my car for a “test” drive THIRTY MINUTES from the shop. Kyle Ledford (a mechanic who works there) then CRASHED my car (he was deemed at fault) and it was totaled. Then the owner and professional con man, Dennis Worley, refused to hand over his insurance information even when my insurance company sent him multiple letters and attempted litigation. He took absolutely no responsibility even though money is no issue to him as he just spend over $100,000 on home renovations. On top of this he and Kyle attempted to lie to me about what happened saying Kyle wasn’t at fault. The police report proved him wrong and identified that Kyle had completely ignored a yield sign and plowed into merging traffic. I am not the only one he has wronged. He basically screws people over for a living. DO NOT GO HERE. I don’t even think he’s legally allowed to call his shop a business... Oh and PS. the reason Dennis Worley is so callous about robbing people blind is because he has been friends with the Buncombe county sheriff for years and has him wrapped around his little sociopathic finger.

Seems like only the angry people make reviews these days. I have been using Worley for the past couple years and have had NONE of the problems you see in negative reviews. I am not the best customer for these guys either. I stop in randomly and ask them to finish half the work I did myself, or for simple things like a stripped o2 sensor or alignment on tie rods I installed (I'm a DIY'er) Sometimes its hit or miss without an appointment but they have always treated me great and scheduled me a few days out when they don't have the time. I really appreciate these guys and they have never ripped me off or messed up a job. They are always busy and they seem to accommodate unpaying customers as half their lot is filled with vehicles. They could claim the titles on those cars in 30 days but they don't. These are local guys helping local people and they wouldn't be jam packed with jobs if they were criminals. Think about it. I will continue to take my vehicles here as long as DJ can put up with being overworked. Thanks guys!

I went in to have a tire plugged. I don’t think they even made an effort. They didn’t charge me but they didn’t fix it either. Had to take it somewhere else later in the day. Weird. A1 in fletcher is where I would recommend going.

Yes I had paid for a new oil pan to be installed onto my car and in the process of picking my car up after the $500 job they tried to inform me that there was metal in the oil pan and didn’t mention to contact before they Completed the job or charged me for the $500 so just so happened two days after I left there my car started knocking very very bad I took it to a mechanic and he had showed me where the oil pan they installed and charge me $500 was leaking and that had caused my motor to run Dry of oil and blow up So I tried to contact them and ask them to work with me due to the fact that I threw $500 out the window because they did not install the oil pan correctly and it drained completely out causing the motor to blow up but instead they were so unfriendly and all they had to say was to take them to court them to court So I tried to take them to small claims court and they got onto the stand Lying about everything involving this job claiming that they had told me everything in Advance about the faulty oil pan and that I shouldn’t waste my money doing it and that I just wanted to waste my money for a car That had a blown up engine when all I wanted was the money back for the oil pan that I never got any use out of so I do not recommend this business to anyone if you would like to flushing money down the toilet I highly advise you to do that instead of coming to this mechanic

We had our Tahoe towed to Worley's by Triple AAA for a blown heater core hose. The service provided as definitely 5 star and above. The hose was repaired quickly and at very fair price. I moved here from Eastern North Carolina and I would not hesitate to go back to this location.

A month ago today Worley told me it would take 3 days to fix my transmission. I'm still waiting for it to be fixed. Every time I call, they tell me they will call back and never do. Like I said I was originally told 3 days, then a week, and then it just became "We'll call you when it's ready." That was 2 weeks ago. This is my only car and everyday for a month now I have had to walk 8.5 miles to work and 8.5 home. I had to miss my vacation because my car wasn't done. I just want answers. They refuse to tell me what's taking so long every time I call. If I had another car to drive there and speak with them face to face I would, but my only mode of transportation is still in their posession. So frustrating. DO NOT give them your business. I can assure you I never will again. *Update: It's been another 3 weeks and I still don't have my car back from them. They have told me "it will be done tomorrow" SIXTEEEN times now and every time I've stopped by to get it, it's still not done. It hasn't moved from the spot it's in and my window has been down for weeks. They have had my car for a total of 7 weeks now for a job I was originally told would take 3 days. Seems extremely sketchy and shady. **Update: it has now been 9 weeks. Still not done. Still being told "tomorrow" every time i ask when it will be done. This is ridiculous.

They drove my car used over a quarter tank of gas left it in 4-wheel drive and left breakfast rappers and the front seat and also had a dog in my car while they were four wheeling will never go there again I took it to have a sensor replaced nothing to do with 4 wheel drive no need for them to drive my car so much or leave it trashed ,

Untrustworthy and did a poor job. First they told me my muffler was fine. I found out a week later that it was ripped to shreds and needed to be replaced when I went to a different mechanic. They failed to reconnect my fuel injection line and my car would only go 30 miles per hour until I finally forced them to take it back and fix it. That took a lot of arguing and they tried to throw in a fake charge for a part that I didn't need. They "fixed" my window and charged me an arm and a leg for it and then when it broke again a month later, said they would have to charge me 90 dollars for a part that I found out later I didn't need. My neighbor took his truck their and when his truck broke again and he took it to a different mechanic, he was told that the electrical work could have made his truck catch on fire. These people are shady, thieving, liars. Truly the worst experience I've ever had with a mechanic. They should be sued.

I have three vehicles, a 1997 Ford F350 Dump truck, a 2003 Ford Expedition and a 2005 Ford 500. Worley Automotive on Cane Creek road have been maintaining my vehicles for three years. Each and every service has been spot on, from brakes, air conditioning, misc electrical, tires, servicing, including transmission and many other types of repairs. I recently decided not to upgrade the Expedition due to how well it is running after Worley's gave it a going over. I also took my son's 1999 Toyota truck to them to 'bring up to standard' before he traveled across country with his wife. They made it like a new truck. They replace the rear springs, serviced including the transmission, repaired the AC, and a bunch of smaller things. My son and his wife traveled the southern route to California then up the West coast to Seattle without a single mechanical issue with his old truck. I will not let anyone else work on my vehicles. Highly suggest you take the negative comments posted here with a grain of salt or maybe a couple of grains. Worley Automotive on Cane Creek Road, Fletcher, NC has my business and recommendation. Regards.

NEVER take your car to Worley automotive, I took my car to them to fix the window and to put a ball joint on the front, they had my car for nearly two months, they put around 800 miles on my car and didn't fix a thing on the car. they lied over and over about how long it will take to fix it and then charged me for work that wasn't done. and they wont answer my phone calls. This is scam garage.

Took my car to them because it was running hot. I could not hear the fan running and told them I think the fan is the problem. They assured me that no, the fan was fine and I had to replace the water pump. So they did that, charged me. I took it home and less than a week later, the car overheated, steam spewing from the front, rusted water dripping out. Towed it back to them, and they said the fan needed a sensor replacing. Another charge. Assured me my water pump was bad and they could show it to me (as if I could verify what they showed me came from my car). They kept it all day to replace the sensor. I called several times and he said he would call me back. I took off from work and told them I needed the car in the morning. He said he would get it done early and get me to work. So about 15 min before I needed to be at work, it was ready. I got in the car to rush to work, but before I left their lot, I noticed the service engine light was on. It was not on before I left it. He looked at it right quick and said it needed another sensor and to bring it back the next day. I drove around that day and also noticed the thermostat was not working (they had replaced that with the pump supposedly). He said that some "module" was bad and that was gonna run me another $400. I told him I would not pay for it, because this module was fine when I left it at his shop. He got angry with me, but then told me to bring it in on Saturday. I did that, but the place was closed, nobody was around. I am still trying to get the module replaced but they keep putting me off. Once I can get this rectified, I will not be returning to this shop. EDIT:For the past month I have been trying to get him to to fix his shoddy work. After the July 4th weekend when he told me to come in but then didn't show up, Dennis has been avoiding me, and putting me off every time I called. Yesterday, July 19th, he told me to call him the next day, Sunday, after church at 1pm and he would come in to the shop and do the work personally. I started calling at 1pm, and no surprise his phone is off and goes directly to voice mail. I left a VM at 1pm and again at 2pm. I have been calling every half hour, and his phone goes directly to voicemail. Well not actually, after I left the 2, now it says his voice mail box is full and just disconnects me. It looks like I am just going to have to take the car to another mechanic and then take Dennis to court for my costs. I cannot stress just how much I would advise you to NEVER take any business to this man. His work is shoddy and you cannot trust him at his word.

I took my Jeep there to be worked on, not only did they fix the problem, they picked up my car and delivered it back to me. They were very professional and helpful. I would recommend them hightly!
