First I’d like to say I have bought auto parts exclusively from O’Reillys for probably close to 20 years. I recently moved to Moyoc. I stopped in to get oil and a filter and had the worst experience I have ever had in one of there stores. The young Woman who “helped” me was intentionally rude. First by ignore my question bc she was bad mouthing someone to who I’m assuming was the manager judging by his shirt. After the second smart mouth comment I got when asking for the Wix oil filter number she gave me incorrectly I asked her if I had done something to cause her to be rude to me. Neither one of them said anything. I bought 2 gallons of oil one gallons of injector cleaner and an oil filter. After my transaction was approved and I waited for a break in the childish conversation that had nothing to do with auto parts I asked if I could please have a bag. She looked at me like I had cursed her mother tossed the plastic bag in my direction and said “there you go” I said im going to need more than one and you can put my things in the bag. She said “ I don’t know what you want in the bag and bagging stuff ain’t my job”. I wish I would have gotten her name but if you see a young woman who has a hog ring style ring in her nose and maybe 18 I would recommend going to Advanced Auto directly in front of O’Reillys. There was no one else waiting yo be helped no one even in the store. I kept my composure and was as respectful and polite as I always am. It really upsets me that this is how the store in my new town operates. After 20 years I will have to find a new store to take care of me and my family. I’m going to call corporate tomorrow morning not bc I want this kid to lose her job but because enough is enough!! Customer service is non existent with this generation and the arrogance that goes along with the horrible service is to much and I’m finished ignoring it and making excuses for these lazy people
These guys are great! They tested my battery, starter, and alternator for free because my battery keeps going dead.
At least now I know there's a short somewhere. Probably caused by mice when the car sat for a few months.
Staff is constantly knowledgeable and courteous. If they don't have the parts on hand, they will have them available later the same day or early the next day.
Not bad, only came here because I bought out hosing at Advance Auto across the street and needed a little more. Stood at the front counter for almost 10 minutes before someone acknowledged me. Asked for the tubing. Employee just had me come into the back and pointed at the shelf and said its over there. Luckly I already knew the size cause I had to search through the shelf myself while the Employee lazily helped. Had to measure and cut the hose myself too.
So helpful, they went out of their way to help and make sure we had a great experience and got on our way as quickly as possible. Car battery died, turned out to be the alternator. Fast, friendly, tools, and so helpful! They and their positive attitude made our vacation happen! Thank you!
They were quick and efficient. I was able to get my part in stock the very next day even when I called them near closing time. Not to mention that it was also on the weekend. Thank you so much for your help.
Usually O'Reilly auto parts in moyock,nc. Provides courteous and efficient service at great prices. Today I had my first bad experience at this store and not only was I inconvenienced I was also personally offended. I rented a puller tool with a 147.00 deposit and returned to the store approximately 6 hrs later to return the rented tool only to walk through the door and be stared at disapprovingly by the older gentlemen behind the counter who when I approached and stated I had a rental tool to return gave me another disapproving look and answered with a very short "yeah". I gave him the tool and my receipt and after about 30 seconds he tells me the tool had already been returned....WHAT??? How could the tool have already been returned when I just walked through the door with it in my hand! Thankfully the other younger gentlemen on shift had enough sense to realize that it couldn't have been returned already and checked in the back in the designated spot the rental tool is stocked at and sure enough it wasn't there. Still with the blatant facts right in front of him the older gentlemen with the eye balling problem stalled and carried on trying to find a way to say that the tool had indeed been returned. About twenty minutes in I finally got my 147.00 and a new receipt that is supposed to be "for my protection"
The entire experience from the dirty looks and insinuating manner that the older gentlemen used as he made his off hand remarks was absolutely appalling and even though I do like this car part chain, Advance is right next door without the dirty looks and snide comments!
They saved the day. I called in looking for a price on a transmission cable. After a few questions the employees informed me I just needed a $15 part. It was ready when I walked in. My car is fixed thanks to an honest and helpful staff
