I showed up at 8:53PM this evening (9/19/25) with a lightbulb in hand, to ask if they carry it. Seemed like a question and answer that would take a few minutes, max. The door was locked, but the lights were on. The sign claimed 9:00PM was closing time. So I waited for a few minutes, then went around back and found a doorbell. After ringing it every 30 seconds or so for a few minutes, a very annoyed voice shouted "WE'RE CLOSED!" from the other side of the door. I responded that, "You are now, since it is now 9:00PM, but I have been here for at least 5 minutes waiting for someone." The voice responded that they "close at 8:50PM, at least they do when he closes." I told him their sign is inaccurate, then, and left. So whoever that is, is skimming 2% of their wages off the top (assuming 8 hour workday, 480 minutes, 10/480 = 2.08%). If you can't tell, I'm annoyed by this practice (not the only place in Siler City that closes earlier than their posted hours, but the other places at least had an employee who came over and told me they were closing early; this guy tried to hide and hope I would go away).
They’ll sell your parts out from under you. They called and I told them I was coming to get them and they sold them anyways. Had a medical emergency the day before otherwise I would have gotten them then. You have 7 days to pick up ordered parts and they sold mine within 5.
Was unsure what the indicator light in my car meant, Casey from the 64 location was able to test my battery and alternator AND then install my new battery within an hour. He was very helpful, honest and professional! Will definitely return to this location. Thank you Casey!
Went in there the other day to get some of that oil you put on your brakes when you're replacing them because they said it keeps them from squeaking your something at any rate they had just forgot to give it to me when I bought all the other stuff for the brakes not a big deal if that Dana's it's a small item but it took me several weeks ago back and when I did there was a very elderly woman seems like she was the manager and let me tell you she wasn't it's she knew what the heck she was talking about where it was how it went on and how much it cost I mean that woman was on the ball I have to say again double thumbs up a plus plus five stars they Rock always they are always on the ball wouldn't go anywhere else
Best AutoZone ever every time I go in there the people are like Good Old Country Boys slow laid-back relaxed know what the hell they're talking about can get you exactly what you need and do it fast I just love this place and I know nothing better than a place that welcomes you and knows what they're doing highly recommend
