I have placed 2 delivery orders this week and they have not been fulfilled. No message about it or anything. They also rarely ever have certain items on sale on the 1st day. The sales also aren't great. Most of the time you have to buy multiple items to get a sale which isn't a real sale. The isles are always clogged with boxes no matter what time of day. Unfortunately I can't get to another Super Market or I would never shop here.

Placed an order online for over $300. The shopper had me on the app selecting items for literally hours!! He then asked if I lived in a house. When I stated it was an apt WITH an elevator. He cancelled my order. I have been calling the store. No one answers the phone.

I go to this supermarket very often since is very convenient for me, is close to my house. I always find what I need and find nice people that works there.
But today it wasn't the case a employee there her name is Barbara was very nasty to me very unprofessional no kind of costumer service. The manager there should see this.Feb 01, 2026 -
The register lady was so rude and the person over her took care of me very well.I am 70yrs old and been in cust service 35yrs,that register girl need more training and if that does no work then,she needs to be released.Bad for Biz and I understand the pool is limited.

I want to say if I could give zero stars I would this is by far the worst supermarket I have ever encountered in my life. The customer service is absolutely horrendous. They are extremely rude. Their produce is horrifying Rotting as always, I now have to travel extremely far to get good food. If you ask for help, they walk away from you. I worked on healthcare and I would never treat anyone the way that they treat their customers. Shame on you acme.

I moved not too far from acme when I found out that at me was close to me as a supermarket I was very happy and specially I have kids so just in case an emergency it was right up the block I walk a bowl for me one day I took my kids there and I picked up some orders that I have play store online and also there was things that I was missing and I decided to go get them so I could purchase them at the same time my kids was driving me crazy and when I was checking out there was some other stuff in my cart that was pushed back which I did not see as I'm going out the door this guy stopped me and my kids and asked me to give them the product that's in my car that I did not pay for and when I looked I seen it I took it I went back on the register the self-checkout and I bought it next thing I know I went back online 2 days after when I signed in they blocked my account I was so upset so angry, mad I call customer service to find out the reason why that my account was blocked she couldn't tell me the reason why and I also bought up the situation that had happened the last time I was there and he told me that has to be the main reason since I have placed an order online that day and I picked it up before I went to get the rest of the stuff with my kids I believe they noticed the name that was on the sticker and they blocked my account, I really do feel bad because because they treat me as a thief so with that being said I made a report about that. I have been going there 2 years straight I have purchased so many so many times online and like I said it was easy for me as a mother cause it was so close to where I live, now because of this situation and they blocked me so now I don't go back there and I have to pay $10 going there and back to ShopRite

On December 1 2025 around 220pm I went to make money order i ask for 176 the lady gave me 136 because she was too busy talking about her personal life with other employees very unprofessional. Then when I self checkout the girl was rude I ask about the sale of the box of chips which I clipped on my phone and she was rude and told me it online. The deli was also rude and nasty especially the male with the mustache. I been coming to this store for couple years and the employees they have working here needs to be trained how to speak to customer and manners. Or Fired. I try calling the manager after I left the store and I was but on hold.

I never even knew this store existed. A friend suggested I go for one particular item I was needing. I ended up shopping for other things as well.

I have shopping here its my local and closest supermarket but have decided closest is not always best. To many times the meat has been spoiled and lots of expired food. The meat in the cases with fish most times looks old and my dad and i have both experienced occasions when cold cuts counter people have sneezed while cutting cold cuts. I would not recommend.

Not so great. You have to buy 3 items to get a real deal. Watch your cashiers with your change because they give you the bills from your change and the change comes down a side slot and if you forget it they won't tell you. They will nickel and dime you .look out!

It's the worst supermarket ever. The workers and so-called managers are nasty. The place is dirty especially where they are selling the cooked chicken and cold cuts. Is disgusting Don't shop there go elsewhere

Don’t ever order through the Acme app, we placed an order and literally 11 items were missing, we contacted the store after 30 minutes on hold we were told to contact DoorDash to deal with the issue, we ended up requesting a refund and says the refund is being reviewed, we called the store again and were told by an employee named Patrick to deal with the manager, Acme basically stole our money. Be very careful and avoid ordering through their App. I’ve been a customer of over 10 years of this store… NO MORE!!

Its kind of hit and miss here at times.The quality of fruit,veg and meats at times is so so and on recent weekend visit unreal the amount of basic essentials were not available including milk

I've been coming here for years. It's a good supermarket with a good produce section and organic products. If you sign up for and download the acme app , you can get discounts which is a plus. Friendly staff. Never had a problem with returning or exchanging any item at customer service.

Rude and disrespectful supervisor, named Shyanne. She chose not to honor a sale price on an item that still had the sale tag, as if the few dollars were coming out of her paycheck. She walked away as my wife was trying to talk to her and we had to yell across the store to communicate with her and she yelled back. We later took a look at the tag and it expired 14 days prior. It’s disappointing to see individuals like this in leadership roles, where they are supposed to serve as examples for other associates. Acme needs to provide better training, especially professionalism training to leaders. As an executive in retail where customers always come first, such a small decision could have made this a positive customer experience and Shyanne did the opposite.

This store has a very good variety of fruits and vegetables but the manager of this place ... she needs to go. Last time I was there I had clipped the coupons and they still charged me full price. I was trying to rectify the issue with the cashier lady and she called over the manager and she still didn't help. I have proves I was charged double for everything. I went home with the bill, the line kept getting longer and longer but thankfully the customer behind me said. Yes, you check that receipt you look like being overcharged. She was very understanding. I have a family to feed and coupons were clipped but some reason when rang on the cashier it wouldn't show. Manager refused to fix theh issue. Horrible cashier system. Only 2 cashiers working and self checkout it's always empty because they don't allow more than 10 items

looks better but still unfrozen food refrozen, expired refrigerated diary and processed meats, condensation on plastic wrapped vegetables, rotten produce. The elderly as well as the young tend to shop in Acme since they don’t know good quality. Shut down all Acme markets. The bad reviews are 100% warranted.

Went here while visiting a friend, and the market itself was fine—but there were only 2 checkers working at a very VERY busy time, and it was ridiculous. They also wouldn’t let my group use the self-checkouts because we only had one cart. But our items were completely separated, and we offered to take them out of the cart, but the employee was extremely adamant and tried to force us into a long checkout line. Also, we did not have many items per person—I had fewer than 10. I went ahead and exercised my right to remove my items and use the self checkout, but it was a very bad experience overall.

I had the most horrible, disrespectful and disgusting experience from a Angela, ironically from the “Customer Service” department in this acme store at 660 McLean Ave in Yonkers yesterday, 5/20/25 around 5:30pm. This so-called “customer service” personnel, Angela, who is also apparently the supervisor was just nasty and unpleasant! I purchased a multiple items but noticed after I paid that I was charged the wrong amount for 2 items! The Golden Kiwi and Asparagus advertised as $3.99 and 1.99/Lb respectively (digital coupons clipped) both by the price display and in their weekly circular but was charged $4.49 and $3.99/LB respectively. Angela from the “Customer Service” Dept gave me attitude right away when Marisol, the cashier called her over to assist her! Nasty Angela said to me, well, that’s just how they are coming up even though it is supposed to be $3.99, I can’t do anything about it! So I said, then the price needs to be changed because that’s misleading for customers. She got even nastier with me by saying we can’t do anything about it. At that point I said to her, you have to be able to because that’s deceiving to clients if the store is advertising one price, and charging clients a higher price! Then she says to me, “ma’am you are fighting over 50 cents” so I said to her, it’s not about the amount, it’s the fact that you are telling me you are not willing to do anything about! Then she said, it’s not us, it’s produce, I can’t do anything about it still, in a very disrespectful and nasty tone! After I realized I wasn’t getting any assistance from Angela, I just wanted to return the items! After ringing up the return, I noticed that the amount was less than what my receipt shows I was charged so I said I needed what I was charged to be returned! In an even nastier and more disrespectful tone, Angela says to me yet again, that’s what’s coming up and I can’t do anything about it! At that point I was annoyed so I said to her, then call someone who can help! She then said to the cashier “call Mike because I’m not dealing with it!”Then, she went inside the room behind and kept arguing and being disrespectful towards me just as she has been from the beginning even when I was respectful and calm in explaining the issue to her until she got nasty with me! Meanwhile, I had been waiting for about 20 minutes and Marisol suspended my return and kept taking customers in line behind me while I was kept waiting! About 10 more minutes goes by and nasty Angela reappears from the room and tells Marisol, “Mike says to give it to her for the price because that’s what’s shown!” At this point, I noticed Angela is a bit less nastier than she had been towards me the entire time! I’m guessing it may be because she finally realized (perhaps “Mike” enlightened her) that I was right from the beginning in that I was wrongly charged higher prices than what is advertised and there was no reason for her to be so nasty towards me when all I tried to do was to get an error corrected or at the very least, return the items for what I was charged! Angela needs to be reprimanded for the most disgusting, disrespectful and rude way she treated me as I am certain I am not the first nor the last customer she has treated or will treat this way! At the very least, she needs to be removed from the “Customer Service” Dept and/or trained in how to actually provide “customer service” because she exhibited ZERO “Customer Service” skills throughout the interaction with me!
Besides the 30+ minutes of my time wasted and her nastiness towards me for no reason, it is unacceptable, and I’m sure illegal to advertise one price and charge another price, especially, if she stated that has been happening with other customers with those particular items! Due to how nastily and disrespectfully Angela treated me, I do not intend to return to the store even though this has been my local store for the past 4 years as it is less than 15 minutes walk from me! I would rather travel and take the long trip to Stop & Shop or ShopRite to get a better Customer Service experience!May 21, 2025 -
I placed a large fruit tray order on Monday morning for a work event, scheduled for pickup on Wednesday at 8 AM. When I arrived, the order wasn’t ready, and the produce department had no idea about it. I was told the manager never informed them. I asked to speak with the manager, but they refused to come out and speak with me. I had to wait almost an hour while the staff quickly put something together. When I finally received it, the fruit was carelessly thrown into the tray, with juice leaking out. Extremely disappointed—won’t be ordering from here again.

I experienced a bad treatment from a cashier. I even looked at her and asked if she was ok. She muttered under her breath that she didn't care at all. If that's the kind that they give employment to, and it's not a good image for ACME. I'm a friendly person but I seriously wanted to tell her off. But I realized it's not even worth it. People should be grateful to have employment. Treat others that way you wished to be treated.

The store would be ok if they didn't have a stupid policy prohibiting customers with more than a handful of items from using the self checkout. One cashier on duty with a huge line, because the lady at the self checkout turns away everyone with a cart even if they have 18 items instead of 15. The self checkout will have 3 open registers while 8 people wait on line for the one cashier. And this is every time I come here, not just once. Stupid enough that I'll just go to Stop & Shop from now on to avoid over ten minutes of standing in line.

I love Acme, their bakery makes the best rosette cake in any color you want. Flavors are chocolate with chocolate filling or yellow cake with vanilla filling. This cake is perfectly sweet, and for 8 inch cake ONLY $30.00. This supermarket is big, offering a huge assortment of food, clean.

I just wanted to share my experience with you from my recent visit to the store last evening. It was quite busy, but everything was neat and clean as usual. The customer service was superb, especially thanks to Yerelin. She was so welcoming and professional, helping everyone with checkout and scanning items. Her positive attitude and warm wishes for the holiday season truly made my day. It was a great visit overall!

This is a decent supermarket. They have nice assortment of sales but the general prices aren't crazy anyway. I tried the imitation crab cakes and the real ones to compare. Even though the real ones are twice the price, they taste 10x better! I also got a thick cut steak! Can't wait to through that in the grill. I normally go to stew Leonard's for meat, but I may have a new place now

I liked it better when it was A&P. Acme is supposed to have discounts but I didn't see much discounts the few times I've been here. They don't have a supermarket discount card, at least not when I asked before, to receive discounts. The outside marquee looks so tacky, it looks like somewhere that's getting ready to close and be condemned. It shows that whoever is responsible for the store takes no pride in their property, they just threw up a sign however way and was done with it. They have the same staff, at least one woman I know had been with the A&P for the longest that works there. For the neighborhood and the people that live around there I'm surprised that they're allowing the store to remain disheveled looking on the outside.
