Horrible experience. Crooks and scammers. The check engine light came up on my car at the same time my car starting shaking when in park or during acceleration. I came into the dealership because I have a warranty. I was told that it was busy and they would see my car in a few days and of course I had to pay a $250(279 after tax) diagnostic charge. I left the car at the dealership and got a rental because I figured my warranty would take care of this. No one asked what the issues were with my car. I get a call from Omar saying there is an engine misfire and that I need to do $2500($2800) of work before they can see where the issue is and if its even covered under the warranty. I repeatedly ask what is the issue and Omar says they don't know until $2500($2800 after taxes) of maintenance is completed and that after this maintenance is done, they will see where the issue is and if its covered by warranty. He is also rushing me off the phone rudely asking what am I going to do because he has other clients to tend to. This was Saturday afternoon, 20 minutes before the shop closed, so I ended up having to get a rental car because I wouldn't be able to get my car until Monday. Monday morning, I pay $307 to Enterprise for the rental, and then I pick up my car and pay the $250(279 after tax) diagnostic charge. The diagnostic report clearly says engine misfire and change the ignition coil and spark plug in cylinder one. At this moment, it was confirmed the advisor was lying and trying to scam me and make money off of me like a greedy crook. I immediately drove to an HONEST local mechanic in the Bronx. I showed him the diagnostic report. He told me to go to AutoZone and purchase an ignition coil for $43.00 and a spark plug for $19.99 and that he would install and change it for $80.00. I brought the items back to him and he switched and installed the items in 15 minutes. He said to drive around for 30 minutes and the check engine light would leave. I drove around and the issue was obviously fixed as my car stopped shaking while parked or during acceleration. In 15 minutes the check engine light left. My car is driving perfectly again. It is so crazy how dealerships will try to rob hard working people. I drove back to the shop and gave him a $100 dollar tip for being a good and honest person. I surely could afford that since I was expecting to pay over $1800 per the conversation with Omar. 2800 vs 123 is a really big difference and proves how dishonest dealerships are. If you need an HONEST mechanic that will help you and not try to scam you, kindly reply to this and I will provide this mechanic's information to you.

My gf needed her 21” Jeep Compass serviced, she had bought an extended warranty when she purchased from another dealer out of state. While searching for a dealer to service that would except the warranty we came across this dealer. She had a few complaints so they told her she’d have to drop it and it would be 2 days. End of the second day at 04:45 I had to call them to find out what was happening, the service writer told me that it was on the technician’s lift but she didn’t have any updates. To me this points to they didn’t look at it the two days they had it and had no intention of reaching out. Then nothing for another 2 days we call and they tell us that they send an electronic quote via text the day before, which we never received so we get them to send it again and she receives it. I ask for explanations of a few things and break down of pricing. And issue with the start/stop being the battery makes sense but 4 tires needing to be replaced. That doesn’t, we just replaced 2 tires in the spring the other two are stock. The service writer tried to write it off as a balancing issue that another shop caused or from them not being rotated …. As someone who has worked on and driven many vehicles. We told them we wanted to think about it and call in the morning, that service writer isn’t in on Saturday’s and no one else can close her ticket, so we’d have to wait to Monday if we didn’t give an answer that day. My gf needs her car to get to work so we just tell them we’re gonna pick it up. We get there and I ask to speak to the service tech about the tires being choppy, the taller dark haired male service manager refuses to let me ask the tech any question about the issue with the tires stating “it’s written in the tech notes their choppy”. It was a nice touch they rotated the tires which in it self is great, but can’t even diagnose the issue because the “choppy tire” is on a different corner now, and I don’t know which tire came from where. TL:DR……Save yourself the extra time and money find a different shop, they were paid a premium shop rate $250 an hour. I had to chase them down for answers and I wasn’t even allowed to ask any questions to the professional that I paid to perform the service. Service Writer was polite and patient but gave me generic answers that didn’t add up to the current issue, the male I think was the service manager not so much he was dismissive, and I felt rude as being the top customer service representative of the department.

I want to preface this by saying the young ladies working in the Service Office were awesome. They were kind and professional in my experience! Now, with that being said, on September 11th, I brought my 2022 Durango RT in because I had some lights pop up on my dash (Electronic Stability Control, Forward Collision, and Service AWD). I Dropped the car off around 9am during my work day. The person at the desk, Umar Khan, came off as a little passive and rude, not really paying attention to what I was saying. I was told they'd start diagnostics on my truck and give me a call later. Fast forward ~5 hours or so, still no word and I live in NJ so I needed my truck to get home. I called them and was told "yeah, we haven't started yet. You need to leave the truck overnight". Obviously can't happen since I live 1.5 hours away driving. They said they'd run diagnostics and call me within the hour. About 30 minutes uses later, I get the call and Mr. Khan tells me the long list of issues they need to replace: Transfer Case, Transfer Case Control Module, Front Differential and Rear Differential, for a grand total of $4,600. When I asked if this would fix all the issues, I was told "well we need to make these repairs and see if that eliminates the problem". I declined the repairs, was charged the "minimum diagnostics fee for 1 hour of labor" which was $250 and picked my truck up. Mind you, when I did, Mr. Khan told me that if I continued to drive my truck the transmission could lock up on my while driving and be "catastrophic". I wound up bringing my truck to another Dodge Service Center by my parents house in Milford, PA. They straight up laughed when I told them about the repairs that Yonkers advised. They laughed even harder when they saw the invoice for diagnostics, saying they highly doubt they even ran the diagnostics since there were no error codes on the invoice, which I guess is customary? Anyway, after a few days with my truck, the Milford, PA location fixed my truck for the low price of $500, needing to only replace and reprogram the Transfer Case Control Module. I've had my truck back for about 6 days now and not a single issue, no lights, no transmission knocks, nothing. I advise avoiding this Yonkers location. I'm not sure if it's because I came in during a workday with a button up or if they just took a shot at trying to rip me off, but trying to charge me $4600 for something that ended up costing $500 from a group that actually looked into the issues, it's just flat out ridiculous.

If I could, I would give more than 5 stars!! The easiest and most pleasant purchase ever. Guy, Jimmy and the whole team were exceptional to work with. Responsive service, they guided me to the right car for me. I highly recommend them for your next vehicle. I should mention that I love my new car too!! I didn’t realize the 3 row Grand Cherokee is exactly what I needed. A really nice move if you are leaving a minivan but still need the room. My kids are happy too. Thanks guys!!

I brought my car in to be serviced. After about a week in the shop they called me saying a loaner had just been returned and I could pick it up if I wanted to. After two days of driving the loaner they provided, I went to put something in the drivers side door cup holder, and saw a small plastic bag filled with a pink powder substance (resembling drugs). I immediately called Jaira (the employee who gave me the loaner) and reported it to her, along with sending a photo. She said "omg that's crazy" and said she would tell her manager the next day. Two days later I picked my car up and requested to speak with a manager, Jaira said there was no manager available. Andrew (a manager) then asked what was going on. He had nothing to say. They told me my car was ready, and when I got in, I saw they left a box full of random car parts in my back seat. Andrew called me after leaving, and told me he was going to call me on Monday with an offer before I decided to report the dealership to corporate. I never got a call on Monday, so I found another managers contact information on Google named Johnathan. I emailed him regarding what happened. He called me and his first response was "Did you return the box of parts?" As if that was the main issue at hand, not the fact that they provided a loaner car that had a bag of drugs in it. He went on to tell me that I had no proof there was drugs in the bag because I didn't test it. This place is a joke and has no regard for customers or the services they are providing. I didn't want to get anything out of them but for them to actually take the situation serious and take accountability for their negligence. Not a single person there cared about the fact that they not only exposed me to an illegal substance, but also could have put me in legal jeopardy. If you want to risk getting charged with possession of drugs that you didn't even know you were possessing, this is the dealership for you. Side note, they also put completely wrong information on my service records documents, and when I went to get it fixed, they refused to fix THEIR screw up, so thanks to them I have service records on my car with incorrect information listed. They put my personal address as 380 Saw Mill River Road, Elmsford, which is the address of Tasca Jeep. This is by far the worst dealership I have ever worked with.

representative returned my faith in customer service. I expected the worse , which is my way of thinking, and got the best. I finally got a chance to witness salesmanship par excellence for the customer. My very few questions at the end of the presentation was the indication of how complete the job was and what had been covered. My reps manner of speaking was cordial in addition to a flawless knowledge of Jeep models. There were visible efforts to keep everything comfortable within and outside the premises. I was not rushed. My rep recognized that I was a novice in certain contractual matters regarding my next car purchase, other than give the money, get a receipt and drive away. So my rep was very patient and recognized and accepted that I needed a full 24 hours to process what I was about to do. She was more than capable of assuming the role of tutor, explaining cause and effect of each part of the process while allowing me to make the final decision. I was introduced to other staff members who were relevant, supportive and on board with with how I was handled. I come away from this experience with satisfaction and repect for an organization that I can in good conscience refer to my peers, etc.

The best car dealership I have ever dealt with! I have been leasing for 15 years and I never had such an easy worry free experience in my life! Nico was amazing! He delivered on everything he promised and answered any questions we had with such knowledge and patience. This is the third RAM 1500 I have leased from Central Ave CJDR. I will keep going back because they are truly the best. They treat you like family and make the leasing process easy. It can be very confusing when leasing a car/truck and they know this. They take take their time with you and explain the process thoroughly. Best leasing experience I have ever had. Everyone greeted us professionally when we walked in. They quickly called up the person we had an appointment with. Martha, who was our sales representative and very friendly by the way, offered us some really good cappuccino’s and made us feel at home. She helped us get into the vehicle we wanted and for a price we were comfortable with. She let us test drive the Cherokee and pointed out all the features inside. She was very attentive and followed up with text messages during the process. Thank you all for helping us get into this 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee black on black baby!!!
