Store manager heather was very un accommodating. After confirming the part on the phone I drove from Nassau just to find it was the wrong part. Please hire competent store managers if you want to keep customers
Junior was so very kind and helpful. I came in because after the storm my wiper blade came off. I thought I would need a new one, but he was able to reattach the part that came off.
Walked in said good morning to the front counter clerk asked how he was doing. His response I’m here I then responded well that’s good he then responded not really… I turned around and walked out. I’m going to assume he and others there were not interested in my business. I’ll go somewhere else. First and last time here. Business must be extremely good if you can afford to piss business away.
My car light went out. I don’t live in the neighborhood, I needed a spot fast to avoid getting a ticket we all know how that goes. I got here met a guy named Issac who came out to my car and even tried to see if he was able to change it for me but neither him nor I knew how due to the car being new and it never being done before. Either way the service was awesome and I’m grateful for it. Good service always leads you to good people and more customer traffic. Later I found out that he is the Mgr there, which makes the whole experience even better. Set the tone , set the example for others by leading by example. Thank you Issac for your service I got it changed it wasn’t that hard lol. Anyone and everyone this AutoZone I HIGHLY recommend.💯🫡🙌🏽.
I drove 25 minutes here to pick up something I ordered online. I checked out and opened the box in the store to find that the box is empty. Had to refund me and then the next closest store that has it in stock is in Levittown. Glad I opened the box in store, dont trust this place what a waste of time and almost got scammed.
I recently visited the AutoZone in Lake Ronkonkoma, NY. I was helped by Breanna and I was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional customer service I
received. Even though the store was busy at the time of
my visit, Breanna was professional and did not rush me. She came outside and looked at my car and ran tests to diagnose the problem. Breanna is very knowledge and showed me different price options for my repair parts and answered all of my questions. Although I did not make a purchase that day, I will definitely return and will request Breanna to help me when I do!
Christine and Heather both greeted me when I arrived. They were both Very Friendly and eager to get me what I needed and have me on my way....

She was Very Helpful in finding everything I needed!! She even offered to carry my stuff out to the car and I have a pickup and bought brakes and rotors and oil change stuff....needless to say NOT light stuff!!! She carried it all !!! She was an Beast!

Your Customer Service people don't listen to what year, make, model, engine that you give them on a vehicle. They just put in what they want. All of the Employees should be FIRED at this location. Not only the Lake Grove store but also the Happauge store, Lake Ronkonkoma store. So now my warranty are all mast up by Autozone Employees. I guess I have to go to a REAL AUTO PARTS STORE THAT WILL GET MY PARTS RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.
This is the worst autozone I have ever been to. Store is a mess, manager has anger issues and the employees are poorly trained and have attitude problems. Avoid this store if possible. Christine and Heather need to be trained on how to use their system and how to provide customer service.
I walked in today a little after 9 am. I wanted a gallon of seafoam $60 and some car wash soap $17. I was on line and when the girl finished helping the guy in front of me, she looked right at me and walked over to a rack of candy and started counting snickers bars while people were waiting on line. I walked out after 5 minutes of standing there giving her the benefit of the doubt. I have 6 cars and i will never buy anything at any auto zone ANYWHERE ever again.
By the way those snickers bars will be gone by the end of the day as she looks like she shovels dozens of them in her face at a time.
Absolutely great if you're a first time car owner starting to get to know mechanics. Clerks are super nice, and paired with a great selection, it barely feels overwhelming whilst knowing not much about cars.
I would like to thank Jadon ( sorry if i misspelled ) for helping me with my wipers after one flew off in the storm stressing me out! My first time at this location and will not be my last! He was positive and empathetic and changed my wipers in the rain. Thank you for making a stressful crazy night better! Appreciated!!!
I was in need of new windshield wipers in front and back.I've been to AutoZone countless times over the years. I got what I needed, went home and found I could only get one of the wipers on.After picking my wife up from work, we went to Autozone to ask for help.A young man came out and helped get the old wipers off and the new ones installed. I was so happy as we had rain the next day!

The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in assisting me with my car needs. They went above and beyond to ensure that I found the right part for my car and even installed it for me. Came here for a replacement headlight. I bought the wrong one and realized after I had opened the package in the parking lot. They still let me exchange for the correct piece. Workers were helpful and knowledgeable.
They waited until after I installed two brand new batteries in my truck to tell me the old batteries were fine and not the issue I was having with my truck.
Figured out it was an issue with the starter and they wouldn’t let me return the batteries to offset the cost of the starter. Then, they wouldn’t reverse the core charge on the old batteries (which still worked) so I could take them and keep them as a back up set.
I visited the Lake Ronkonkoma store today to grab a fuse for my truck. There was one employee working. His name was Daniel B. He was very busy with the phone going crazy and people asking tons of questions. He was very professional and handled everything professionally while making sure everyone on the phone and I store had their questions asked and left happy. Great work Daniel and autozone will have my business forever because of his professionalism.
I came in to the store yesterday and it was very busy but I still managed to get my lightbulbs changed, Daniel was very courteous and professional helping multiple customers to help the line move faster, I had a great experience and will definitely be coming back again!

Helpful, friendly employees, well stocked shelves and reasonable prices. Good location with plenty of parking. Great selection of Chemical Guys and Adams Polishes supplies.
The staff was very helpful; however, they did not have what I needed in stock even though it said it on the website under locations. I gave them the benefit of the doubt 4 times since, you know, stuff happens, but this 5th time I knew I has to write a review.
I find the woman rude in this store and I’ll remove the review when they start treating customers properly. Covid is over so serve your customers with respect. I went in to get oil and to ask for a diagnostic and was given the machine to do it myself with no help from the staff. I couldn’t figure it out and I then got annoyed because anytime I’ve come to this store I’ve had to deal with that. I get told since Covid we do it this way. Well none of the other stores do that. I then left and went to the Centereach store and Corrie and another guy had no problem helping me out. They did offer to do it at the Ronkonkoma store after I got really annoyed, but I won’t go to this store anymore after that.
I realize if you are busy and can’t do it that’s a different situation but you should always go the extra mile and help the customer and have better attitudes. There was no reason the woman that handed me the machine couldn’t say let me show you or help you. Especially when I told her I didn’t know where the plug in part was. I went straight to Centereach and those guys were so nice came out and helped me and the store was almost closing yet they still helped me. Attitude is everything.
Gave me the wrong part even though I called twice to confirm and gave them a piece a paper clearly written with the part needed! The worst! Don't trust them and double, triple check they're giving you the right part! But the person that helped me the second time, Daniel, was super nice and did his best to give me the right part and discout. Even though the discount barely made a dent compared to my uber fee.
Went in for a rear wiper blade, was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and the woman behind the counter was able to immediately tell me exactly where to find the blade that I needed. After bringing the blade up to the counter the cashier offered to check that it was correct blade for me and then proceeded to install the blade on my car. Excellent service, friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Needed heat shrink tubing for some small electrical work. This place had a kit that would suit my needs. I'm glad they did, because I tried four other big box stores and none even carried it. The store was clean and service was quick. Everything was easy to find.
Auto Zone has the items I need for my car's maintenance. The cashiers and auto parts advisers are always pleasant and helpful. Hayden, who has assisted me on several occasions at this location, most recently helped me with a battery issue I had with my car. He is very knowledgeable and personable, and he provided me with all the necessary information I needed to purchase a new battery. Hayden made sure to address all the issues I was concerned about with the failure of my current battery. Hayden helped me with the purchase of a new battery, and he also installed it in my car. He was very thorough and neat, and it was a pleasure dealing with him. He then ran the diagnostics for the other electrical issues I was worried about, and he put my mind at ease by showing me the positive results from these tests. Auto Zone, Hayden and the other staff have always helped me out with my car care needs and issues and kept me from having to tow my car because of a dead battery! Thanks Auto Zone and Hayden!
Replacing the heater core on my wrangler, and half way through I notice I'm out of coolant. My wife was out and about around this shop so I asked her to go in and get me two bottles of 50/50 for me.
She went in, they sold it to her no problem. When she brings it home to me in Patchogue village I notice they feel light. Well turns out this Autozone sold her two open bottles of coolant.
One looks like it was a waste return, the other looks decent but I'm not going to put it in my system because it's an open bottle and I can't tell if something was done to it.
Not even bothering with Autozone anymore. Have an AAP and a NAPA right by my house, and thanks to this they just got a new customer.
