Went to Mavis for an oil change and they wanted to charge over $100. I decided to try somewhere else and a customer waiting suggested Lake Auto. I called and they told me to come right over. Owner and the wife were really friendly and took my car right in. Everyone who walked in was treated like family and friends. Car was done in probably under 20 minutes. Amazing experience!
It was my first time visiting, and I couldn't be more impressed. I came in as a walk-in for my inspection and the team was incredibly accommodating. I met Kim and Rob, who were both so friendly and professional. I will definitely go back for anything in the future after such a great experience.
Lake Auto Service of Ronkonkoma is the best automobile repair shop ever my engine light was on over a year no one could seem to turn it off someone referred me to Lake Auto Service everyone there is very friendly and knowledgeable professional I strongly recommend this shop for your car repairs

I have been living in ronkonkoma for 34 years. I always went to Nick and sons till they shut down. So I tried lake auto which is very close to my house. I wish I would of been going to them since in ronkonkoma. You won't find a better repair shop. They are professional have great prices and do great work. Don't look anywhere else. You won't find better

I was recommended from a few friends of mine to go to Lake Auto for tires and I left with incredible results. They were able to source out the tires I wanted, install the leveling kit needed for the tires to clear, balance, align, and inspect all within a few short hours on a Saturday. My truck ran straight with no vibrations of any sort all the way back to the Queens border. Rob and Kim were honest, friendly, professional, and down to earth. Highly recommend giving them a visit for your vehicle needs

I brought my boyfriend’s car in for an oil change, new rotors/breaks, New York State Inspection and a new battery. Kim was amazing and incredibly sweet. The service was fast and prices were very reasonable. I cannot recommend Lake Auto Service enough!
In the last week I first needed to have my New York State Inspection done plus an oil filter change. Then, in a separate visit, I needed a few parts replaced for a stalling issue with my car. Both times Lake Auto Service was amazing! They are very friendly and truly care about their customers. They are not out to get you for unnecessary extra expenses. They also have a keurig for the customers. I will continue going there moving forward and highly recommend them if you live in or near Ronkonkoma!

Very accommodating staff. Called late in the afternoon to see if they could do an inspection and they took care of it with no problem and super quick too! Kim at the front desk is extremely friendly and helped me out coming in and even setting up another date for my other cars inspection! Awesome staff overall. Highly recommend for any car issues.

I cannot even begin to explain how kind, thorough and trustworthy these people are. Rob and his wife Kim helped to make my experience seamless with an engine swap and made sure I knew everything along the way. I cannot even begin to recommend them enough. I selfishly almost didn’t review bc I would love to keep them to myself but these people deserve the business. I dropped my car off to rob at lake auto, his price was 1/2 of what my last mechanic was charging me and he got me my car back the same day. They do inspections and changed my windshield. Also good to know. I will be using them for now on and recommending all my family to them
I wish I could recommend them, however I am not a automotive mechanic and when you bring a car for service it’s rather important that they diagnose the problem I was sold a starter that was not needed and these scammers wanted us to pay for something that was not needed. Suffice to say I paid something and then the car would not start I am completely dissatisfied and disgusted with this sham establishment and will be reporting them. You are not allowed to improperly diagnose a problem and then charge your customer. Scammers the whole lot of them rude and belligerent.
