I highly recommend Lakeview car care. These guys were recommended to me from my friend Mike Cavalieri, and I was very satisfied with their work, their reasonable and honest and thorough. I’m definitely using them for now on and recommending anybody I know.

Stopped in for an oil change and inspection. Service was quick and easy. Sitting in their waiting room is a pleasure with complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. I have been there for service many times. The owner Fred is very knowledgeable and takes his time explaining the problem and making sure you understand. The mechanics are courteous and knowledgeable also. Prices are fair. I highly recommend Fred and his crew.

If you are not going to this mechanic, you are not treating your car or yourself right! The family that owns this shop always treat my family and friends I send with the utmost professionalism and service. They have a beautiful waiting room and clean bathrooms which is unheard of at an auto mechanic shop. The team always gets you in asap and the attention to detail is amazing. Shop local and trust local!

I went in with my friend and we worked with the owner’s son, Mike, he was very nice and got us both in and out very fast for an oil change and inspection. He even tested the battery for free!

Lakeview took my son’s car in on short notice as it died on the way to school. They were quick and efficient to change his oil and guide me on next steps to diagnose the underlying issue. We have had other cars serviced there as well. They have been great each time!

Went to Fred and Mike with intermittent misfire on my 2018 Ford Explorer, with 103000 miles.Spark plugs were never replaced. New spark plugs and ignition coils were replaced with Ford OEM parts. Vehicle runs great like it hasn't in a long time. Highly recomened .

Coming in as a person in need of a few minor things, I was pleasantly surprised that they were immediately receptive to those needs. They took my car in fairly quickly and made sure I was comfortable as I waited. The place is extremely clean and every employee was curteous and professional. As someone who had a longtime mechanic prior and knowing how frustrating it can be to find a new one, I couldn't have been more happy to have found Lakeview Car Care.

I have used Lakeview many times going back to when I had my Dodge Magnum and Mazda CX5, among others. The service technicians have taken care of whatever issues they’re presented with and I’ve found Lakeview to be honest and reliable. This is why I’ve recommended them to several people.

Had my 4 tires road force balanced due to vibration at high speed. They explained to what the original installer did and how wrong it was. Now my tires are properly balanced and my Porsche rides smooth as glass.

The guys at Lakeview Car Care are awesome! I was in and out in less than half hr for 2 cars for state inspection. They didnt push anything extra on me even though one of my car was a 2006 model. I just moved in the area and I will be going to them regularly!

Lakeview is by far the best auto repair shop in Suffolk County. They’re honest, they explain what needs to be done (and what doesn’t), and the quality of their work is top-notch. I highly recommend them.

The Only reason I went to Lakeview Car Care because it had the “Hunter Road Force Elite” machine only other places that had Hunter equipment are Car Dealerships; and I would never take my vehicle anywhere near a dealership. When I arrived the place looked great from the outside, went inside and was greeted by the person behind the counter and while talking with him the lady in the waiting area was so nice and friendly that the whole experience felt welcoming, left there like my vehicle was going to be treated like it should. Returned the next day and didn’t now what to expect but my vehicle information was explained well and thorough and the bill was reasonable. Had a 4-wheel alignment, new tires installed and balanced on the “Hunter Road Force Elite”, Oil Change, NYS Vehicle Inspection, and Front and Rear Sway Bar End Links. Overall I was very satisfied with the work performed on my 2019 Jeep Compass Trailhawk. I will definitely be a repeat client. Thank you Lakeview Car Care.

Very professional very fair with prices. These guys go above and beyond to help try take care of any repairs you may need. Most of all the biggest plus and comfort is there 100% honest they do not play that game of trying to sell you BS you don’t need or you need a certain part right away. They will tell you if you have time left on that part tires etc or if they say you need asap then it’s definitely for safety reasons. But again you want honest and professional these are your guys.

I brought my car in to have the windshield wiper reservoir replaced. They did a great job. Fred and Mike were super friendly and professional. The waiting area felt like a cozy and inviting living room :-) Will definitely be using them again for a future car care! Highly recommended.

Quick, Honest, and Affordable! Went there for an inspection and was pleasantly surprised. Unlike other auto shops that pressure you into repairs that aren't necessary, they only did what was needed while giving the option of other services. They've gotten a customer for life! Great coffee too!

Took my car there for an inspection and was in and out very quickly. The shop is extremely clean and the staff couldn’t have been any friendlier. You can tell the owner takes great pride in his business. I will be coming here for all my auto repairs and inspections from now on.

I had an absolutely exceptional experience at Lakeview Car Care. The first time I went in was with my Audi S4, which has custom lightweight wheels and had been suffering from severe steering wheel shakes at high speeds. I was greeted by Mike, a fellow car enthusiast who immediately made me feel at ease. Despite not having an appointment, he took the time to listen carefully to my concerns and managed to squeeze me in right away. In less than 10 minutes, I was on my way to work while they took care of the car. They performed a road force balance on all four wheels—and the results were incredible. The car now feels smooth and solid at every speed. Road force balancing is definitely the way to go, but what makes the difference is the team behind it. These guys truly know how to get the most out of their equipment and take real pride in their work. I was so impressed that I brought back my family car, a Mercedes GLS450 with 21” wheels, for the same service. I also asked Mike to check the brakes since Mercedes had recently quoted me nearly $3,000 for a front brake job. Mike inspected everything and told me the brakes were still in good shape—just slightly warped. After the balance, almost all the vibration was gone, and the car now drives like new again. Fred, the owner, also took the time to explain how the road force balance works and even shared a bit of the shop’s history with me. His passion and pride in what they do really stood out. All in all, a very respectable place run by people who truly care about their customers

MY Auto Repair Shop that I used for over 25 years closed I was searching for a new and reliable and honest repair shop I am happy to say I have found Lakeview Car Care to be just the place I was looking for. They are full service repair shop very accommodating easy to make appointment and do exactly what is needed to service your car. Very pleased with Lakeview and plan on being a lifetime customer. Great shop. Clean shop and waiting area. Good group of mechanics and knowledgeable. They Listened to my tire balancing problem that I felt vibration in my steering wheel (from a different shop) and they explained the road force balancing machine they will use to correct any issues with my new tires. They also took my car right in. Great service and take pride in the work they’re doing. Very happy with their service. Cool group to speak with also, they have welcoming personalities. Car drives smooth and great now with absolutely no wheel vibrations.
