John over at this store is super knowledgeable and very helpful. Always recommends and offers great products and suggestions. Great customer service and has a lot of patience. Will only come to this location
John has helped me a lot over the years. This is the 2nd car he has replaced battery for me. Informing me of all the different year warranty's that come with each battery. He has me in with a dead battery out with a new one in less than 15 mins!
I had a battery going bad in my car. I woke up stressed about who would be able to take care of this on a Sunday. Called Advanced Auto Parts and spoke to Billy. He told me to come in and he can took care of it immediately. Thank you Billy for amazing customer service!
Billy and John went so out of their way to help me. I unexpectedly had a battery die in the parking lot and they were willing to lend me tools. They even came out and helped me clean the terminals in the lot. Nice guys

When I went there to buy A battery for my ride on Lawn mower instead of telling me there were a cheap one and an expensive one he just sold me the expensive one. $79 vs $39 When I went back to return it I didn't have a full receipt because I printed it out at home instead of having them printed out They wouldn't accept it because they said there was no bar code on it. I will NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN!!!!
what a great experience i had today. A friend of mine told me about this place. I had to boost my car early this morning. I went directly to Advance. I was immediately greeted by John. I explained to John that i purchased my battery from Advance from a different location but my 3 yr warranty had expired 1 month ago. John took it into consideration and said that he will honor the warranty. He said he was going to install the new battery first, then check to see if it was the alternator. Battery was installed and alternator was ok. I couldn't thank John enough for his professionalism, courtesy and honesty. I wish that we had more people like John in this world today. Definitely returning and recommending this store to my friends.
After visiting another location that turned me away and lied to me about the process of getting me a battery for my truck, the gentleman at the Ronkonkoma location came to the rescue! Christian was extremely helpful and was able to replace my battery for me. They went above and beyond after my experience at the other location and this will be my new “go to” location in the future. I needed synthetic oil to top up. I was having the oil changed in a little more than a week. There was a few empty spots on the shelf. There was a very helpful young man that checked in the back for the lowest priced oil since it was going to be drained soon. He found the second cheapest.
Went in for a new battery, which the sales clerk put in & cleaned off my terminals, battery light still on, so he went & got the machine to test my alternator, which yes I do need🤦
Bill, John & Kyle are an excellent! I’m so glad a new auto store opened in the community with employees that actually know cars and go out of their way to help! Every time I walk in and see one of these guys working I know I won’t have any issues. I can name at least 10 separate times that John, Kyle or Bill have gone above and beyond to help me.
This visit, I was not impressed. First, I tried to make a purchase on line (to be picked up at store). It said it was activating a 15% discount. No matter what I tried, it would not apply the discount.
Secondly, I am surprised that an auto parts store that advertises the ability to install wiper blades, batteries, etc., requires that you come back during a different time frame in order to have the parts purchased there, Installed.
If they advertise such great customer service, then they need to make it available during store hours. Not only specific times each day...
This store has an amazing team they go above and beyond to help there Costumers. The stor and AGM was wonderful to work with took the time and got me the right part I needed when another store sold me the wrong part and refused to let me return it the AGM explain why they said this and helped me with the refund. I strongly recommend this store I will drive from where I live to work with them again. And it’s not around the corner
Best knowledge and service this side of Mississippi. Store moved from Holbrook so it’s working out some kinks but overall Parts Department is Exceptional when it comes to service and supply kudos to John & Paul!!
I am a do-it-yourself which accounts for most of the business the staff here is great. Fully knowledgeable Mary Ellen goes above and beyond along with John and the rest of their coworkers. These guys don't Googl. I have bin left hanging with rong parts on line and at other places its a pain and time consuming. This store 04494 is 100% to me. I drive a 64 impala and a 99 s10 i have other newer cars but those i enjoy. I also sleep better knowing my parts will be there next day.
I don't go to advance no more .no knowledge in the field .never work with me and I had a problem and the management hung up on me .so I never got my part .so I went to O"Reilly's with in 60. Min. Problem solved
This place is always closed outside of "normal business hours", and the website inaccurately reports the hours. I've had to cancel many orders and then go pick them up a half hour later at a different store that is open at 2PM on a Saturday. I think they close at around 4pm on weekdays so dont bother trying to get something here after work, and they are closed all day Sunday so make sure you finish all your automotive projects during the week.
