Big shoutout to Mike in service. I had a leak that could only be fixed by replacing the tire, but after taking time off work for my first appointment and having the car looked at for 2 hours while also getting an oil change and recall work done, they just put more air in it—even after I explained multiple times there was a gash in the sidewall. Before I left, Mike came outside in the freezing cold in a T shirt, got down on the ground with me, checked the tire himself, and even gave me his personal number so he could make sure it got handled ASAP. He kept me updated the entire time and I think he straight up said it was his first day on the job. He handled the tire insurance, moved my appointment up by a few days, and actually got the whole thing done. This is not to take anything away from anyone else in the department—but credit where it’s due. This man went above and beyond in a way you do not see and I already have a friend who has left his car there now and I told to ask for Mike since he helped me out.

South Shore Kia Dealership Service is amazing. All my answers were answered and everything was explained to me. This is my first vehicle where I can call my own and they have helped me understand all that is available to me in the service department, redirects me if my question is not about servicing and are very welcoming. I cannot name just one person because the ”Team” is amazing. Shout out to Jay who helped me make the purchase of my KIA Sportage earlier this year, it fits my family size well.

The lady that checked me in was very friendly & caring. I made my appointment online with the virtual chat but never received a confirmation but called the day before to confirm & they didn’t have me in computer but allowed me to come in-I was very grateful for that. I just got off working night shift & waiting was very comfortable with complimentary coffee & muffin which was also great. Only minor negative was I asked if they could take off old inspection sticker & they did a terrible job & left glue & some sticker still on the window with all the scrapings they did get off, left on the dashboard.

My appointment was on time. Everyone was very pleasant. My car needed repairs to its breaks and a tire rotation. I would have had south shore do my repairs as that would have been easiest, but the cost was prohibitive. And I was being charged for a tire rotation even though all tires needed to be removed to do the breaks. I expect to pay more for the convenience, but it was just so much more than the external market.

Very nice staff, quick appointment , the waiting area was beautiful plenty of coffee,drinks and snacks and plenty of phone charging stations . Highly recommend . Kept me update thru texts all through my wait there.

Need to work on hold time when you call , and communication with customers when car is in the shop. Communicated that to mgr and was very understanding of concerns which isn’t typical.( 1st experience was a C- with mgr saving the day). 2nd time They were very accommodative in making my experience as smooth as possible . Provided pickup and drop off same day. Will go back expecting same experience as 2nd time which was an A+. If the 3rd time is as good as 2nd my rating will def go up from a 3 to a 4+. 3 is an average of two experiences.

This is my 3rd Kia! Customer service is excellent! My salesman, Axel Pineda, was informative, personable, extremely helpful with all my questions. I couldn’t be happier and I would highly recommend SouthShore Kia (and Mr. Pineda) to anyone who is interested in buying a Kia. Loving my 2024 Seltos!

Service provider was great! Just one observation …. The drop off place was not very tidy ; there’re a lot of discarded plastics and papers which could be a sore point! Please keep it very tidy and professional looking.

What an awful unorganized dealership that downright SUCKS at service. I arrange a factory recall on two of my cars both to be dropped off the afternoon before the service. The first car is dropped off and serviced without a hitch. The second car is dropped off and the technicians are on strike and we are not notified. We were then notified the next day and picked up the car. We were told that service would reach out to reschedule. Service never calls to reschedule. I call again to make another appointment and there is difficulty with the person on the phone in making the appointment but we are given a date. The afternoon prior to the appointment the car is brought to the dealership and as always we left the key in the dropbox and parked the car. The next day I called the dealership to find out wha the status of the car is and I was told i would receive a phone call back as the person who was designated to the car was not available. The following morning I receive a phone call ASKING WHY THE CAR IS THERE!!!!!!! The women says we have no idea why your car or keys are here. I then tell her it was there since Tuesday and she proceeds to tell me I am lying. I told her her company SUCKS and is unorganized and she becomes JOLTED and begins to shout at me telling me they have thousands of customers, employee turnover and other reasons for failing. Those are your problems and your business and the customer shouldn't be told about them. I hung up on a shouting employee trying to convince me that her company has reasons for failure and that I never made an appointment and I didn't leave my car there two days ago? Her argument SUCKS and contradicts herself.

Although my new Kia was subject to a recall, South Shore Kia was super helpful in rectifying the situation. Ahmad was very helpful and I was put in a loaner. My car was finished earlier than the service department predicted which was great. Thanks to Ahmad and the service department for getting me back in my car in no time!

Really bummer experience. For a week I tried calling to make a service appointment only to never get through or be disconnected. I wound up having to email the sales associate I bought my car from to get in touch. The appointment took 4 hours and at the end no one recapped me on anything that was performed and the car wash guy handed me the keys and walked away. My issues weren't fixed and there was no level of real customer service besides Donna at the front desk who was an absolute angel legend of a human.

Great service and comfortable waiting room. My service advisor, Ahmad, is fantastic! The service, parts, and labor fees are a little high, but sadly, it is what it is! I spent close to $1500 with discounts added. (The drop down box below does not include all of my service options!) I also had to return within 24 hours for an unresolved issue. So, in total, 3 visits this month. Notwithstanding, the staff is great and I shall recommend.

If your kia needs service- I highly recommend this location. My engine light went on, I’m not savvy with cars so I called south shore kia and Michelle from the service dept guided me that I can safely get to the dealership and got me in same day. I also needed an oil change and an inspection + 2 mini recalls looked at, so I asked if everything can be looked at once. Ahmed took over and was fabulous. He explained that the recall parts + the small part for the engine light would take time to arrive and provided a loaner car for me. He also called me daily to provide me with updates and realistic expectations for when my car would be ready. Once all the parts were in, my car was done the same day. After a few days back in my vehicle, everything runs awesome and I’m really pleased with the service and kindness I received. Thank you for a great experience.

I was extremely satisfied with the Kia service center. They took my car right in as soon as I got there, and service was completed in 30-40 minutes. Sales associates as well as service associates took interest and they all made sure I was satisfied which I most definitely was. Thank you again South Shore Kia.

Had to return for replacement of a timing spring so my driver side air bag light would go off- the part had to be ordered- part came in quickly, the service dept. Got me in right away and voila! It was done! Great service department ! I’ll be back when I need anything😀

Not good in keeping customer up to date with information, I had to call in the late afternoon to see if me car was ready. It wasn’t approved what needed to be done was told the next day. It wasn’t. Got a call in the third day it was ready and it was 4:55 and they close at 5, someone did say they would stay till I got there. Never had a bad experience before and have my car for 12 years all my work gets done there.

South Shore Kia is amazing. I’ve always had a wonderful experience when having to bring my vehicle in for general maintenance. They always treat me like I am their only client. Christian in service is awesome, he always takes very good care of my vehicle, he listens and hears my concerns and make sure that my vehicle runs properly. I drop my vehicle off, sometimes I wait in the showroom to chat with my favorite salesman Tico and other times I have them drive me home to wait for my vehicle. I have never had a bad experience. I recommend this dealership to anyone looking to join the Kia Family. The new management has made some great changes and has changed the atmosphere from what it use to be. Everyone is very friendly and personable. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I recommend this place to everyone.

Everyone was very helping and accommodating. I walked in asking for an oil filter and the front desk staff was very knowledgeable and suggested I do the oil change at the dealership. She was so nice I forget her name, but thank you so much for your help!

The management at the South Shore KIA is excellent. And the service department is also such a nice place with friendly and really helpful personnel. Every time I go to the South Shore KIA dealership, I have peace of mind. I recommend this dealership to everyone who is looking to purchase a car with no pressure from any of the personel.

Our service advisor, Christian, provided SUPERB customer service! Our son moved to NY six months ago and when his car issues surfaced, I called South Shore and explained everything to Christian. He immediately scheduled service and reassured us that the car would be fine. He kept us informed with a status of the repair and the estimated time of completion. His customer service skills provided great relief considering we have no family in NY that could have assisted our son. Thanks South Shore but most of all THANK YOU CHRISTIAN!

My mom brought in her 2014 Kia Soul because she noticed there was what she thought was smoke coming out of the a/c vents. She was afraid it might be something with the engine, but after the service dept checked it out, it was condensation from the ac compressor and the line that lets water condensation out from the hvac system was clogged and they unclogged it. The bill was super reasonable at $86 dollars and they washed the car for her. She is a senior who speaks broken English and I really appreciate they were honest and did the right thing by her, especially since I wasn't able to accompany her to the dealer to help. The service representative was very accommodating and super nice. Couldn't ask for a better outcome. I also had a 2012 Optima years ago, purchased new from the same dealer and serviced it there. The service center always tried their best to cover repairs under warranty whenever possible.

First of all the entire staff is so helpful and professional. At least a 2023 Kia soul, I am so happy with it and the service department takes care of me each visit each. I received a free oil change and inspection as promised I would recommend this dealer to anyone because of the knowledge of the staff.

This dealership is a five star dealer. You are greeted immediately by a valet, then walk to the service writer who listens to your concerns. He asked me if I was going to be leaving the vehicle or waiting. He walked me over to the service lounge where I had, a hot cup of coffee and some snacks that were available. The service took about an hour. I was notified when my car was done if I would like a complementary car wash. Things like this stand out the service writer Christian was very informative about my vehicle service, and I will only be bringing my family’s vehicles to this dealership for any of my services.

Update to excellent review before: I'm at a Valvoline getting a oil change. I hadn't opened my hood since my service (below). So they opened the hood and found a ratchet (see picture). Now I'm disappointed. It could have fell in the engine compartment and caused untold damage. What else did they forget or forget to do ???? Oh well.... I guess I got a good ratchet. . Service was very good. The Kia associate "Lu Ann" provided excellent customer service before, during, and after I dropped off my car. The car was cleaned after being serviced and they got every spot, even in the door hinge area. I felt very comfortable and would not hesitate to bring my car back for service.

My wife and I bought a car from south shore Kia. It had a clean car fax and the pictures looked great with low miles. We drove that car as a rental before and knew what we were buying. The car wound up having marks all over the front bumper and a big dent with paint cracked off the front fender. The back fender was also popping out. All being cosmetic, we asked them to fix them all since we bought the car for a new price. It also only came with one key fob. To wrap up the story we went there to get the loaner, then told it wasn’t ready so we had to go back home. Then we came again and left the car for a few weeks and time and time again they kept bringing us back only completing small portions of what we asked. Fender was fixed but no key or bumper. Bumper was fixed but still no key, ect. This went on for about 2 months. Finally we got the car back after getting the manager involved and the back bumper is still sticking out. We were simply fed up with dealing with them we decided to take our losses and have the car back. The car also didn’t have the label on it and when asked to put that on they wanted to charge 100$ after paying 25k for the car. And it didn’t come with a pump for the tire. We had to tell them to get one. This place is an absolute nightmare. Buying the car itself took about 5 hours of waiting. And my wife’s credit score went down by about 50 points due to them repeatedly running credit checks. If you want a Kia. Go to a different dealer.

Christian in the service department was so helpful, professional, and courteous. He kept me informed, he arranged rides for me to and from my job while my car was being serviced. I couldn't have asked for better service. I purchased my Kia elsewhere, but I will certainly get my next one at South Shore Kia if everybody is as awesome as Christian and his team is.

Coming in to get an oil change and finding I needed repairs was frustrating to say the least. However, an employee named Mark made me feel at ease. He was very professional. He answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable with the process. Mark periodically checked up on me to see how I was doing and if I had any more questions. He also let me know what was being done at the time and how much more had to be fixed. I'm not thrilled about the work that had to be performed on a car I purchased a year and a half ago, but Mark was an amazing person. He was supposed to leave earlier but stayed until my car was done. They have a wonderful, caring young man working for them and he should be recognized for it.

Highly recommend, they fixed my AC when 2 other mechanics couldn't. And they did it within 24 hours [parts were overnighted], cleaned my car exterior and were incredibly nice and explained everything to me in a way i could understand. They were excellent in regards to customer service and communication. Price seemed fair as well and i understood exactly what they were charging before they did anything. Would absolutely use them again.
