Seems like every once in a while you're lucky enough to come across a really good auto mechanic who's not only knowledgeable but has a good heart and isn't trying to gouge his customers. Bart is that mechanic. I highly recommend this place
Bart and his crew run the only shop we take our Euro car to. They have intimate knowledge and competitive prices, and are always straightforward. This shop is licensed to do aftermarket parts straight from the provider, so you know you can trust them. Anything they can't do, their recommendations have always served us right. If you've got a Euro car, these are your guys!
Only place in the area that I completely trust to work on my Volkswagen very knowledgeable on all European cars. Price reasonable and stand behind their work 110 percent
Honest mechanics who stand by their work and don't try to add on extra fixes you don't need. They're far better than any dealer or any other mechanic that I've ever used before.
Frankly the only mechanics I trust on the planet. They know their imports back to front - as many others have said, better than any dealer - and will be honest with you about what is and what isn’t critical to fix immediately. Their prices are competitive and fair and they’ve saved me a lot of money since I started using them. They don’t do major bodywork but the owner gave me his acquaintance’s number who did 5* work at half the cost quoted by the ripoff merchants across the river, and made my car look factory new.
I can’t imagine going anywhere else.
Honesty is a rare commodity these days. And CIA still carries an honest reputation for a good reason. They will tell you which part if needed for your car and what’s the best pricing options and more. They aren’t out for money like most import shops are.
Go to CIA for good honest work at the fairest of prices!
This garage is more competent than any of the BMW dealerships that I am familiar with. They are efficient, honest and very fair what more can a person ask for. Most garages can only hope that they are as good as Corning Imports. We are so luck to have them in our area.
Excellent customer service. We brought them a dead-in-the-water car and they got it running again. Hard-to-find open circuit that was stopping the engine computer from working.
When the owner goes to auction to get used cars he never puts anything questionable on his lot. He has top quality European imports for sale and the shop will work wonders on any mechanical issue you may run into.
Not many shops nowadays who are honest and friendly folks. There was one time when I brought in an Audi A4 I bought from someone else for work. A few minutes after having it on the lift he came out with a grim look on his face, repair was worth more than the vehicle. He found me a new vehicle that week that held its value until I worked myself out from that A4 lemon.
I now have a 2006 330xi with a manual transmission. He took in the A6 interim car he sold me to to dig out from that horrible A4 on damn good trade. "I know you like manuals and you have a little one on the way. This will keep you guys safe." Fast forward two years and ive been rear ended in that car with my now two year old sitting in the back seat. She is fine, my BMW is still driveable, and when I went to CIA to thank the owner for finding me that car and that my daughter was uninjured because of it, "its why we drive them."
If there is a service he cannot provide he can recommend you to places that can.

Most honest & skilled repair shop in the southern tier/finger lakes region. I have even traveled to bring cars here while living out of the area. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my imported cars. I choose this shop over my all inclusive dealers and forfeit my current warranty and wallet to have CIA do everything instead. Thank you for being the best CIA! You are most definitely appreciated! :)
